I booked my flight ticket from Lucknow(LKO) to Bangalore(BLR) on 8th December 2012 worth 6949/- which I cancelled on 12th December 2012. My cancellation amount that had to be reimbursed in my account is 5899/- which has not been credited to my account yet. My ticket details are as :

This is my Flight information and following is my cancellation information :

The net amount of refund is INR5898.99. We will process your refund in 5 business days, although different banks may have varying timelines for crediting the refund back into your account.


I tried contacting the travelocity customer services. I got response and they provided me with an ARN Number that is : 75425311349170015100028
They told me to cross it with my bank which I did and bank told me that there no transaction done through this ARN number or Transaction ID. My bank is Punjab National Bank and my account number is [protected].
I have tried many times but I got no results I am just fed up of this.

    I tried booking 2 round trip tickets from Newark, New Jersey, USA to New Delhi India. My credit card was charged 8 times for the same transaction. The total charge I saw on my credit card was for $23,000 and each time I was told that the transaction did not go through. I was not issued even a single ticket and we were on the phone for 4 hrs. 1st with travelocity to make the reservation and then with credit card co. and travelocity, travelocity customer service, billing department. Why should we have to go through all this mental torture? We thought booking online should be easy.
    Travelocity customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

      I booked a round trip ticket from Hyderabad to Saudi Arabia around 1.5 years back. The trip id is 97834669.

      Unfortunately, we had to prepone the trip, hence we cancelled the ticket from Saudi to Hyderabad (one way).
      When I called the customer care , they said that the refund for a partial cancellation takes a lot of time and sometimes it takes an year even.
      I called up the customer care every 2 or 3 months to check the status in this last 1.7 years but in vain.

      I talked to various customer care executives during this period of 1.6 months. They said they would follow up and get back to me with the status but they didnt. Around 2 months back when i called again, the executive said that the finance dept. was looking into it and the money would be credited to my account in 10 days. I called up 2 weeks back to know why the money has not yet been credited and this time a new guy said that he would take it up as a high priority and would let me know when the money would be credited ASAP. But as expected, he too didnt call.

      Now I want the money to be credited to my account without any further delay. I also want no more excuses from them.

      I have been patient till now and hoped that things would work out. But clearly this is not happening.
      Hence am using this forum to help me.

        I have booked air tickets to my parents from travelocity (the online travel agent) well in advance of 15 days before the journey, I got the e ticket without having PNR details.
        When I reached to airport and demanded the tickets from the Jetlite counter, they told me that there is no such booking reflected in their system so if you want to journey you have to bye current tickets and as a result I purchased current tickets spending Rs 12018/- instead of Rs 7316/- as previous.

        Because of the 15Aug's special security the situation given me a threat and I was totally helpless.
        Now the travel agency is telling to send me all the profs and others thongs for their inquiry.

        I need my full reimbursement of Rs 12018/- and Rs 7316/- as compensation.

          Its been more than 2 months now, that i am awaiting my refund on the cancelled tickets.

          This is a sheer non-professional attitude and i am unable to get the money back. I have followed up with the travelocity call centee for more than 10 times, but in vain.

          This is my HUMBLE request to all you who is reading this, please please please do not book tickets (if you are not confirmed on the travel) from travelocity. It sucks....!!!

          Travelocity really suck.
          I made a trip with travelocity last year. When I was tring to make a book on my visa, transaction did not go through, so I did on another credit card. But actually they made 2 transactions. Travelocity phoned me they will cancel one trasaction, but they did not yet. It was already 3 month ago. I phoned more than 20 times, now they only get me back the money for the flight, not for the hotel because is non refundable. It does not make sense. I already paid for the hotel. They are really suck. I WOULD NOT RECOMMAND TRAVELOCITY TO ANYBODY.

            Hi All,
            I recently tried booking a hotel in Delhi using travelocity.co.in. After entering in my credit card details the money was debited from my account. However, no booking was made and no refund came to my account despite several reminders by emails.
            I also tried calling customer care. Every time I had to face a recorded message. No real person would pick up the phone when you dial customer care.

            Looking at other complaints filed by several people here It seems that Travelocity India is being operated by a bunch of frauds. It's better to register a FIR for online fraud/ go to consumer court against them. Kindly advice me how should i proceed in this regard so that I can punish this company for all the mental and monetary troubles.

            I am facing a similar situation with travelocity. I tried to book tickets using my debit card and money was debited from my account, even though it was reported as a "failed transaction" and no tickets were issued.

            Where do I lodge a case against them? Can I do it online? Is there a website for consumer court?

            Travelocity — Issue with Hotel booking

            Hi,

            We did booking with Travel Agent for Hotel in Jaisalmer [Hotel The Royal court] via booking ID TVLY[protected]. We have been shown the amenities and hotel as 4 star property but when we reached there hotel management Mr. Pratap Singh accepted that this is not 4 star property as this hotel only has the lodging and Restaurant.

            We have sent them the attached photo in word document but thsi is not getting delivered as format is not in acceptable so if you can tell us I can send the document to your web address.

            As discussed in the morning I am filing complaint from our side.

            Please find attached the picture and detail of the Hotel Royal court which is available in your site and the issues are here under:

            1. Your site mentions that this is 4 Star property but there is only lodging and Restaurant so how come this property became 4 Star Property. Also when I have spoken with Mr. Pratap Singh then he said this is not a 4 star property.
            2. In your site you ahve mentioned that we will have the bar/lounge but there was no such Bar/Lounge available.
            3. You have mentioned about the Internet access and also Coffee maker machine in the room but there is no sucjh facility available.
            4. 4 Star hotel should have the facility for Driver Stay but there 3was no such proper facility and even our driver has complained us a lot.
            5.Service was very poor as we could find only very few people available for every activity.
            6. There was a problem with Air con in the room and in another room there was problem with shower.
            7. This hotel seems to be under construction and there is no pucca road to reach this road.

            Seeing all this I want my money back and also the compensation for suffer that we faced staying there and in no case I am going to refer this Hotel to any of my friend. How come your site shows different then what is there in the Hotel and top of them Management is lying to us.

            Take this as a serious note from your side and I want to know when I am going to get my money back.

            we had made a hotel reservation, on 15th march 2011,for hotel shervani hilltop after that the same day we had made the cancellation with reference to the above booking id, and later again a booking was made in the same hotel

            We have not received the refund amount of Rs.6403 till date, the complaint was made on your customer care telephone number also, but till date no amount has been credited to our account

              I have cancelled my Air ticket on 15th May 2010 over phone and then tried calling the Travelocity customer care number. Kept hearing that "we are experiencing high call volume" This happened for many times many days.
              Finally i sent a mail regarding the same to their customer care team n got reply that they cant take this request of cancellation. Finally after 1-2 mails they agreed for the cancellation.

              The Ticket Details are:

              I started my query with travelocity customer care team on 23 May and still Im getting the same response every time "please wait for 4-5 days more"
              how much shall i wait.

              This is the worst service i have seen by any travel agent.

                I had booked 2 tickets for Guwahati vide Trip ID no.[protected] out of which 1 needed to be canceled, as per the FAQ of the company the amendments and cancellation could only happen through the the customer care number, I called the customer care no. at least 10 times each on 11th May and 12th May consecutively but in vain. The Toll free nos. are given just to misguide the customers as it takes you to a recorded made where I was kept on hold for approx 10 minutes each time but nobody actually took the call. I have been mentally harassed and finally I had to call up Spicejet Airline to cancel the ticket. The refund money has been transferred to the agents (Travelocity.com), but I am still to receive the same from them. I have tried to reach them at least 7 to 8 times during this period but in vain. There is nobody to take the call at the customer service nos.

                My suggestion is do not try to do your bookings through Travelocity who leure customers by giving low rates but at the end the customers find themselves cheated when it comes to the service part. I have written several mails to them in this regard but there is no response or revert from them.

                  I Swapnil Wadikar booked ticket for Chennai Hyderabad Indigo flight of 12th May. Trip ID is[protected], Airline Indigo(6E, )flight No. is 6E0302, Airline booking number is L4M6AH, No. of Booking 3persons.

                  Now I have CANCELLED my ticket directly from Indigo Counter on 6th of May. But the REFUNDABLE AMOUNT is not returns to my account after contacting to Indigo counter I got to know that the amount will be transferred to Travelocity account as I have booked tickets through it.
                  I have checked all the links and pages of Travelocity.co.in but there I didn’t get any link for cancellation.

                  I have tried travelocity custmer care number for many time but even after holding for 30 minutes its not answred by any custumer support team membeR.

                  I have even send two mails to the there custumer care Id but only system generated mails are replied no proper solution is given or answerd.

                  Travelocity — Harrassment by Travelocity and Charges for their mistake

                  This is in regards to Trip ID[protected]

                  I had made a booking on 16th Dec 2009 for a New Delhi to Mumbai sector flight on Indigo Airlines.

                  I was using the Visa evoucher of Rs. 300 to make a booking, I got an error message twice before the booking finally went through. I had used one evoucher previously, when the booking failed for the first time, I used another evoucher and again the booking failed. However on the 3rd try the booking went through.

                  The next day I received an email saying that the booking has been canceled because I used 2 evouchers.

                  Previously, on 16th Dec itself, I had tried to make a booking in the morning, and I got an error message, the booking did not go through, yet my ICICI bank account was debited for Rs. 2640. (using user ID [protected]@gmail.com)

                  Even on 17th Dec, when I was making a booking, I received an error, no ticket was issued yet my account got debited for Rs. 2675 on Standard Chartered

                  They insist that I was my fault that I used 2 voucher (when I had used only one). Because of their website error I have to pay Rs. 1000/- and it clearly is not fault of mine. You can retrieve my calls made to the customer care number and check, your executives clearly told me that there is a problem with the website and hence these errors are occurring.

                  I have approached the customer care department on numerous occasions to get a suitable response and help me resolve the issue. But, none of it has helped.

                  So I escalated the matter to someone senior in the company and finally someone from Travelocity called me as again tried to tell me that it was my fault!

                  I am sick of this customer care department! they do not care for the customer!

                  I want to charge them Rs. 1000 each time my account was wrongly debited. Rs. 1000 for the fare difference that i had to bear because my ticket was cancelled. Rs. 1000 refund, and Rs. 10000 for the mental harassment!

                  If anyone knows the address of of Travelocity Head Office, please send it to me, i will send them an invoice!

                    I had booked a ticket and the same was cancelled on time. Despite my repeated reminders to Travelocity I am yet to receive my refund. I am sure the policy of the company is not to refund the money back. I plan to file a complaint against Travelocity for unethical business practice. I would also like to caution consumers against booking their tickets through Travelocity. I know I would face lot of inconvenience in delaing with these thugs but I wont let my money go begging. It would be nice if any of the readers could guide/ help me with filing the case in a consumer court. Also, since Travelocity is based in Gurgaon and I am a resident of Mumbai under which jurisdiction should I file the case.

                    Travelocity — REFUND OF MY MONEY

                    I have booked 2 airline tickets from this website as they were cheap!!!. But there were sum changes in my travel dates so i cancelled both the bookings and on cancellation i was assuredby the company that i'll be getting the refund within 5-7 business days. But I haven't received any credit from them as it has been almost 23 days..
                    I would say VERY VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! THEY ARE NOT RECIEVING THE CALLS EVEN NOR REPLYING TO THE MAILS..

                    I have canceled an Indigo ticket on 27th of Feb but the amount has not been refunded yet. I have sent multiple emails to the travel agents but they just don't respond. I wrote an email to Indigo and they said that they had refunded the amount to Travelocity.

                    The travel agent is providing a very lousy service since they have not refunded my amount in a month and have not been replying to multiple emails.

                    Travelocity — No Customer Service - Unable to Cancel Reservation

                    I had booked a flight from Mumbai to Bangalore that i wanted to cancel. For two days on Saturday (3rd April, 2010) and Sunday (4th April, 2010), I made attempts to reach them at their customer service number but was not able to. I kept on waiting for as long as 20 min without any response.
                    However, when i chose the option for hotel booking, I was able to get to the customer service almost immediately. Which goes on to prove that they just do not want to serve the airline booking customers.
                    I had booked ticket for Mumbai chennai which was cancelled later on.

                    The refund has not been processed even after 10 days. There is no response on the contact number given.

                    I think no one should book tickets on travelocity

                    Travelocity — Poor Service

                    I have made reservation for Delhi - Hyderabad flight no. SG 0211 for 10th May through web portal TRAVELOCITY. I have given my complete details including Mobile number & Email id.
                    I belong to Bikaner (Rajasthan). As it was early morning flight, i came to Delhi on Sunday itself just to ensure i dont miss out. However, to my extreme surprise i got a call from Spicejet (Phone no.[protected] at 19:44 hrs that flight is cancelled & i can take my money back.On asking, why they are informing me so late, they told that they have informed travelocity people & gave me the contact number of Ms Leoni of Travelocity. I spoke to her & she told that Spicejet people have not send any mail regarding cancellation of flight, neither they have called for the same.

                    I registered my complaint with Spicejet. They reiterated that they have made communication with you on 5th May itself. On asking for the proof, they have shared copy of Email & call details made to Travelocity. The same i shared with travelocity.

                    I had urgent meeting on 10-May-10 in hyderbad. I missed the same because of Travlcoity.

                    Travelocity is still not acknowledging the fact are offering me to take Rs 1000 evoucher & close this......... Shame on you Travelocity. The inconvenience to passenger & one whole day is worth Rs 100 to you.

                    Suggest everyone to please avoid boking air ticketsthrough TRAVELOCITY......

                    I have booked an kingfisher air ticket with the below mentioned details using travelocity, but the flight
                    was cancelled.

                    Travelocity — refund delay

                    Because of some important corporate meeting scheduled to take place on 18th Feb' 12, I had booked flight, delhi-> pune (18th feb' 12) and pune-> delhi (21st Feb'12) with Travelocity. Flight was as per schedule, but on reaching airport I was notified by kingfisher representatives, that the same flight has been cancelled. Hence, I asked travelocity to refund my money back for the onwards journey,instead they told that they had taken the matter with kingfisher and they could only process the refund request after the date of return journey.On returning, I checked with travelocity again, they told that this is a partial ticket cancellation case, and it could as long as 1 week to 1 year, before your refund gets in process.

                    Please help me out in this matter, I had already suffered a huge money loss because of last minute cancellation by kingfisher and sky rocketing air fares.

                      I have booked an Air ticket through Travelocity portal & same was cancelled within time i.e. on 08/10/2008. The Customer care person confirmed me that I will get refund "WITHIN" 45 days but till date they have not refunded me the cancellation amount. Please help me in the matter

                      a very poor customer response from travelocity.. they must do some thing..
                      Don't trust travelocity! first time and last time ever used and was told I had to purchase another ticket in order to board plane! Have been unable to resolve Cannot speak to anyone SPEAKING ENGLISH! I am transfered to Indiana every single time I've called with no resolution! Got american express involved they told me they couldn't resolve it either! THEY ARE THIEVES, THET WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND HAVE NO ACCOUNTABILTY! STICK TO EXPEDIA!

                        We booked a room for 2 pax in Sterling Resorts, Yercaud online through Travelocity for 3 nights and 4 days. The booking was confirmed as shown online(full amount was paid up in front). Called up Travelocity to re-confirm the reservation on which i was told that it has been booked and the room is confirmed. A day before reaching the hotel in Yercaud, somehow called up Sterling Resorts and found that there was no reservation on our name. When called Travelocity, they said they had talks with Sterlings and its all resolved.
                        The next day when we reached Sterling Resort in Yercaud, they told us that we only have a 1 night confirmed reservation and that we have to check out the next day. I called up Travelocity again and they said they would resolve the issue and we don't need to worry about. But nothing happened and we were asked to checkout the next day. Sterling though said that they can provide me hotel accomodation 40-50kms away from Yercaud which was a crazy option since we had gone to visit Yercaud only! Travelocity on the other hand said it was Sterling resort problem and not theirs!
                        We left the next day and called up all the hotels in the way back to find if we can find any room empty anywhere. Luckily we found one but it was just for somehow stay purpose!
                        For this inconvinience, we want to file a consumer case against Travelocity. I would like to get the comments on this issue from you guys as to how to approach ahead.

                        Travelocity — WAS WRONGFULLY CHARGED FOR ANOTHER TICKET

                        Wrongfully charged for another ticket right before boarding plane! I have called and sent them faxes regarding matter and everytime I do so they tell me they haven't received paper work! I am forwarded to people with very broken english who cannot help me! WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN ! THEY ARE THEIVES!
