Goibibo confirmed a hotel booking with a confirmation number for seychelles on 15th jan 2020 but when we checked with the hotel today it said the hotel had rejected the booking. Till date goibibo hasn’t communicated this to us and we are supposed to travel with our daughter who is 19 months old and now we have no hotel booked on the respective date and we are left stranded

    This telephone booking agent of goibibo named mr. Paras put in wrong passenger name on the ticket. Pnr no. Is pkd7yd. On complaining on the email, he did not reply by email, but called on phone and put the blame on me. Although he made the first booking of returning flight (Cdg-del / pnr no. Hlfne) with correct details but for the onward journey (Del-cdg), which he booked after booking return journey, he made the booking with incorrect name. How is it that he booked one flight with correct name and the second flight with incorrect name. On top of that when i asked him to call his supervisor/manager on phone, he made an excuse that there is no one available and i will receive a call back only on the next day.

    Very bad on goibibo's part. They have such un-professional and incompetent staf[censored] Pathetic!!! I hope, if this complaint reaches goibibo through this forum, some one will take care and pay attention and call me back.

      Hi,

      I hope there is something called management in this so called company name goibibo. All the customer care numbers are not working and its only ivr based. There is no one, one can talk to.

      I had a flight from delhi to guwahati on 12th dec by air asia morning 9 o' clock flight which i cldnt travel due to the protest of caa and cab in guwahati which was in a very terrible situation. There was curfew deployed since 11th dec evening to infinite days and hence having no other option i called the airlines (Air asia) at the night around 1:am.
      They told me that since the situation is such terrible i can cancel the flight and entire money would be refunded to me without any deduction as this is what they have got instructions from the backend authorities.
      I asked them whether goibibo can stop my refund at their end being athird party. They said at any given scenario they cant hold the amount since air lines is releasing it completely as a gesture in that panic and terrible situation.

      Based on the assurance by air asia i cancelled the tickets at around 1:30 am by calling the air asia call centre and they told me that the entire process shall take 15 days for the money to reflect in my account. Although i have canceled the flight at midnight, the flight itself got cancelled in the morning along with many other flights to guwahati since infinite curfew was deployed there.

      I have yet not received any amount as of today 10th jan 2020 and the worst part is there is no one with whom i can call and talk in the call centre of goibibo. Its fraud.. Non of the contact centre numbers are working, some are invalid, some are wrong numbers, there is only one number which is ivr based and thus not solve the purpose. They do not have any principal nodal id too.

      I need imense help... My total amount is around 14500, and its hard earned which went on waste because of the terrible circumstance which was beyond control. It is not a normal cancellation of flight ticket.

      I request the authorities to please look into the same and please help me on the same.

      I want to say this is real escalation, so please help.
      At least somebody please reply.

      All other information regarding the ticket and booking can be provided if required.

      Dont force me take something legal, please smothen the process of refund since in this case the Airlines will be with me and in my behalf.

      this is horrible that no one can reach you...

      call ASAP and resolve the issue.i cant think of booking through goibibo again in future with this kind of experience.Total amount is around 14000, please refund.

        I booked round trip flight journey from bhopal to bombay and bombay to bhopal on journey date 11/01/2020 & 12/01/2020 respectively.
        11 jan booking ticket generated but on 12 jan ticket (Pnr h4nl3) journey detail blank, only paid amount given in ticket. Ticket file attached

        I query several time in goibibo app gia help centre... But they don't understand my problem because of computorised help system... I call goibibo but on call for domestic journey they refer to web site..
        I call air india flight for regarding pnr no h4nl3 which is for12 jan journey ticket an they said this is canceled contact your booking company.
        Finally i exhausted and demand my refund for 12 jan journey ticket... My journey left 2 days only... And goibibo even not talk to me on call and neighter given email address on its web site...

        And their gia help services which is computerised chat even not to understand that customer what the information want.
        How they are proceeding without any email or call facility..

        Please resolve my issue an refund my amount of that ticket.

          Goibibo have processed the refund for my✈️ flight booking with pnr ok3t8t from ahmedabad to goa departing on tue, 14 jan 22:50. I. E rs. 2568/-

          I also understand that they will deduct their handling/ service charges and i am absolutely fine with it.

          I had canceled my flight directly with the airline and they have initiated the full refund for the same.

          I received this below confirmation msg as well on 9 jan 2020 around 12:30 pm 👇

          Indigo: dear 6e customer, we have processed your request under pnr ok3t8t. Kindly contact your booking agent to claim the refund amount.

          Since the airline has not charged any penalty for cancellation. I believe that i should receive the full refund for the same.

          I need help further for refund of the remaining amount. I. E rs. 6000/-

          I am not able to get through any of their customer support number available. Also no mail id is available where i can write to them.

          Pls help.

            Apologies for the trouble caused to you

            In reference to your complained, seems your issue has been resolved from the company side as we informed you that after the cancellation charges their is no amount left for refund.

            The cancellation charges are as follows: Airline Fee- INR 2962 per passenger Goibibo Service Fee-INR 300 per passenger Convenience fee-INR 290 per passenger which is non-refundable. The total cancellation charges are INR 7104 and there is no refund as the total paid amount is 7102.

            In case you are not happy with the resolution. You can get back to us on Goibibo registered mail or toll free number.

              And it's an amount more than 34000rs india
              And am a foreigner which was studying in india
              And now already retourne to my home country and can't call the hotline due it cost me a lot

              All time they dont know now...already 8months passed

                I was booking ticket from Goa to Dubai Oman Air lines on 15th December 2019 but the transaction was failed and I got messaged showing refund is initiated on 22nd I got message showing refund is successfully transferred but it didn't come to my account so I contacted customer care on app and told them I have not received in my account till date it's not showing in my account.

                  I had booked an hotel with booking id htl7l4mtfr located at ooty from 27-31st of december, we have booked it 1 month priorly as we are going there from pune. Once after reaching the hotel the hotelier denied our checking as they r no longer in contact with goibibo and oyo as they have cheated crores of amount to be given to the hotel. We strived very hard and requested hoteler to please provide us the stay as we dont have any idea about the location but they said hotel is full, this happened at 3 pm and we tried calling goibibo and oyo for help and they said as we will get call back n we never got. Finally around 6 they called us and said they will provide alternate hotel but they found no hotels were available as it is peak season time also they had a talk with the hotel supervisor too but they simply denied it. It was hell cold outside and the hotelier was throwing us out and we were continuously calling goibibo for help and we said until unless they provide room we r never gonna leave as it was a new location to us and it was very very cold outside. But the hotelier was providing the rooms to the one who directly walks in but he told us and to goibibo as no rooms available so we fought with them that we had come from long distance. Finally he came to the point that he cant provide rooms at this cheap price which we had booked through goibibo (We booked the hotel for 4500 for 4 nights) but they demanded 3000 per night, again we tried calling goibibo and said that rooms are available but still the hotelier denies, around 8.30 pm in shivering cold we got call back from goibibo (Mr. Dharmender - supervisor goibibo) and they had requested hotel to provide rooms as they had already paid to them but the hotelier was not accepting it and came to the point that he has only one room left and these people are here from 3 pm so we are ready to give it for 3000 pernight. Its already late so goibibo has said us to check in to the same hotel as they will refund the amount we paid already and the difference amount will be compensated to us and also he had sent mail stating about the compensation and he requested us to send invoice copy which we recieve from hotel and the complete bank details. I have replied to the same mail on 3rd of january with relevant documents and tried calling goibibo for the past 4 days and they are saying me that i will get call back but i never got call back and i had called them more than 20 times and above. Everytime i have to explain them what has happened and finally they will say as i will get call back but i have never got. This goibibo is cheating people like anything and they are not here to serve people's at all. I request you to kindly do the possible as we had spent 12000 to the hotel which we took for the vacation and also the hotel was not even having the basic amenities they just wanted to dig money from the people as they've got to know that it is a peak season. Also they did the same to the other people's who had come there through online booking.

                    hotel booking in kasol

                    I had booked a hotel from goibibo sites on dec 20, 2019. The hotel was booked with the name of oyo 46752 hotel sun n wind from jan 2 to jan 5, 2020 with booking id htladv3wgn. But when we reached this hotel, the owner of the hotel refused to give us the room. He said he will not give the rooms in the name of oyo company. He said his hotel is not under the oyo company, so, you have to again book the hotel, if you want room.
                    But goibibo...

                    It has been more than 10 months and a new year has started. But, i haven't receive any refund or any kind of follow up regarding my jet airways cancelled ticket.
                    Every time when i contact to customer care and argho (Customer delight team) they always give the same auto generated answer stating that jet airways had not initiated the payment.
                    In next two months time it will be a year since i have cancelled my ticket. It is so disappointing and unprofessional that it take a year and still not be able to resolve such a small issue like refund on a cancelled ticket.

                    According to jet airways email that i have received earlier, it state that the payment should be received by 20th may 2019 as i cancelled my ticket in the month of march 2019 and i haven't receive any amount.
                    Please let me know what is the status of my request and till when i can expect the refund.

                      November..23 rd..2019.. I have been booked flight tickets from bangalore to newdelhi.. Amount of 19021/- inr.. I have be contacted goibibo team.. Regarding my issue... They said first they didn't get amount from my side... I have produced all documents about my transaction... After that they said.. We got but strucked in gateway... Very bad luck sir... Gateway peoples are struggle to refund urs amount... Pl give me some time.. Will be revert with u...40 days... Ayyappa swamy... Deeksha.. Complete hogai.. My amount still on the way... Their numbers are does not in working in coming calls... Only outgoing call modes... Finally telephonic and mail conversations are happening daily... Oh.. God.. Save me.

                        We were left to sleep on the road by Goibibo, We had booked a room in Akasha Botique Hotel on Bali, on our arrival at the Hotel we were told that our booking is cancelled as they are fully booked as the same was communicated to Goibibo, We tried to call Goibibo for hours and hours but got no response, After 10hours of continuous trying we spoke to one person named Ashish in Goibibo help line number who gave us a alternative hotel which was far far away from the Hotel booked by us and it was way below our category of hotel booked. we were later provided an option of 10000 as compensation money which is way below our loss. We are still in Bali room less.

                          We are currently in Bali, our booking was denied at the Hotel booked through Goibibo, we had to sleep in the road as it is New Years Evening time right now all the rooms are full. There is no support at all from Goibibo. We had booked Akasha Botique Hotel for 3 night- 29th 30th and 1st January.we are in shocked state right now. I have called the Call centre for more than 100 times, all they are saying is take room in a very cheap Hotel or take refund amount plus compensation of RS 10000 where as our total loss incurred is about 1, 25, 000/-

                            This with reference to my booking PNR N3U1YY. I got a mail on Thursday stating my Bangalore bound flight on 31st December is cancelled and was informed that I would be contacted within 24 hours for further assistance. However, I have attempted contacting the given customer care numbers multiple times and received no response, neither have I been contacted by your team.

                            This is highly unprofessional behaviour and has scoured my affinity towards the carriers provided through your website. I have received no refund, neither a flight for the planned journey and the planned time of departure has also passed. I was supposed to fly out on 31st December, and this last minute cancellation has caused me additional expense and turmoil for a trip that was planned long ago. I would appreciate if someone from your team can g back and provide a full refund at the earliest since I had to book another flight to get back.

                                I want to delete my goibibo account, there app or website don't have this option. And customer support only provide help with booking. Also, there write to us section asks for service request number. What if i don't have service request number? I can't write to you?

                                  The flight was cancelled by jet airways, a refund request was made by at the link provided by goibibo.
                                  There was no update on this from goibibo for months.

                                  On my followup (Ticket #[protected], they tried calling me and explaining the reason that they are working with jet airways to process the claim but do not have a date when it can be done.
                                  On requesting them to have this information mailed, they did not do so.

                                  Would like to update you that we are continuously following up with Jet Airways / concerned authorities for refund against your booking and the moment we receive the amount or any update on the matter, we shall keep you informed.

                                  For reference, we have attached the refund application copies which are the proof that refund is pending for approval.

                                  We would also like to assure you that GoIbibo is not withholding your money and never will. Kindly do note that the issue of refund being awaited from Jet Airways for customers who had future dated bookings with them at the time of discontinuation of operations, is faced by all flyers regardless of where and who they booked their ticket from, including airline's website. We thank you for being supportive with us.

                                  For your kind reference, we are sharing below a view of the developments so far -
                                  It has been reported widely in the Press that Jet Airways has been placed into bankruptcy protection as of 20 June 2019; and an Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) has been appointed by India’s National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). GoIbibo has filed all details of customer claims due from Jet Airways with NCLT as per the prescribed process. As a result any refunds (full or partial) will now get processed as per the directions of the NCLT.

                                  As per the latest update from International Air Transport Association (IATA) which is a trade association representing world’s airlines, it continues to work with the airline to manage the claim process but expects a delay given the bankruptcy filing. Further updates will be provided when additional details become available.

                                  So far GoIbibo has filed claims of the customers due from Jet Airways with NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal) as per the prescribed process. Refunds will now get processed as per the directions of the NCLT. We will notify you as soon as we hear on the refund status. We sincerely hope you understand and appreciate our limitations in this matter, being an online travel partner and solicit your continued co-operation and patience in this matter.

                                    I booked a hotel, rahat guest house at banaras with payment of 576 rs for one night 28-29th december, 2019. After arriving at varanasi, when i contacted rahat guest house, the hotel staff denied the booking. They mention that they don't provide any online booking accommodation.                                       On 27/12/19 i booked hotel online total worth 34369/- via goibibo app and had to cancel it in the same day some few minutes thereafter due to an emergency. Still now no refund received in the account and they keep on saying they have already completed the refund procedure whereas the bank (Sbi) is keeping on saying that i have to contact goibibo in this aspect and that they have nothing to do in it!!! Plz help me out
