I booked a hotel dated 12/08/19 in ludhiana. Hotel name was hotel parth. But i could not check in due to some reasons. Hotel representative told that goibibo will refund your payment. But there is no response from goibibo side. If i paid for hotel stay and not stayed then why i shold pay money for that.
Kindly refund my payment.

Dear i booked a hotel by trivago in ludhiana dated 12 th augu. But due to some reason i couldn't checkin.I tried to cancel the booking but couldn't process.I called Goibibo for refund but they said that hotel denied for refund later on i called hotel representative and he said its upon company whether refund or not. So kindly refund my payment as i didn't stay then why should i pay for that. I was totally harrassed as well I need my refund

We are sorry to read about the issue. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

We have reviewed your case and taken the consensus from all the involved departments and found that there is no fault of Hotel or Goibibo.
We have clearly mentioned in the hotel details that "Most hotels do not allow unmarried/unrelated couples to check-in". This is at the full discretion of the hotel management.

Since the check-in was denied by the hotelier basis "unmarried/unrelated couples", we are not in a position to initiate the refund until and unless the hotel management approves the same.

Unfortunately, the hotelier has denied. Regret, the refund cannot be provided.

    Flight was booked from new delhi to halifax. The goibibo app showed 2 check in baggages while booking and on the ticket it shows only one.
    Customer has been trapped and cheated by showing false information before booking and changing details after booking. The ticket costed around 1 lakh indian rupees and now they area asking me to pay extra amount for the 2nd bag.

    Even their customer care executive confirmed on chat and over call that it was 2pc checkin baggage (All screenshots attached).
    Their customer care representatives are naive and have no idea about
    Travel related terms. It been more than 20 days since the issue has been reported but no resolution yet.

    Thereare multiple users who have reported a similar issue.
    One such case for instance as reported on twitter.. They are running this scam to dupe customers.

        On 5th August 2019 I made a payment on
        https://www.airtel.in/postpaid-bill-pay
        How ever the amount went to GoIbibo group private limited, without any hint.
        Later i found the amount didnt get credited to my Airtel account.

        But the transaction details appears in my bank account statement.

        later I found two smss which says

        at 5.45 pm RS 697.5 transfered from X5402 to IBIBO Group
        Ref# IGAGSXDOO5

        at 6.03 another sms says
        RS 630 transferred X5402 to IBIBO Group
        Ref#IGAGSXFTU8

        The amount neither refunded nor credited. to airtel.

        And payment done from paytm payment bank so please help me and refund my money in the bank
        We have booked the flight ticket for Rs. 1, 43, 954/- on 13/08/19 at 5.30pm. The amount has been deducted from my account. GOIBIBO has cancelled the ticket immediately at 5.35pm due to non seat availability and didn't refund the amount and they are not ready to re-book the flight. We called the customer care and they are not responding properly.

          Dear all,

          Worst experience of my life with go ibibo,

          We were group of 13 person was travelling to udaipur and booked 5 rooms for 13 peoples with advance payments as well early check in confirmations at hotel yois udaipur,
          When we reach at hotel, hotelier denied to give check in to all as they were not having single rooms to give us, and they have told us that this was the system error and taken booking but we don't have any rooms please talk to go ibibo we cant do anything in this matters.

          When we contacted go ibibo they told us to wait for 10 minutes as they will check and give us alternate with same facility, but after three calls from my end with avg. Time of 45 minutes and after 4 hours they called me for alternate, when i have already booked other hotels, we 13 people were waited on road for 4 hours.
          And the tragedy is after 1 months and several calls and emails to go ibibo we did not get any refund or any courtesy calls regarding this, no one is responding on calls as well mails that weather we will get our money back or not.

            We booked oyo hotel, but after searching for the hotel for one hour came to know that hotel had been sold out and no more exist now. We were with kids and women at the midnight. We had to book new rooms at that time with cash payments.
            Even after talking to area manager oyo, haridwar, no refund done till now. We suffered too much mental harassment and financial loss. I would suggest all to never go for oyo rooms/hotels.

Ibibo says it failed but bank says that ibibo still open the status of booking in progress. Your gia assistant was failed to understand my issue.                 Hello,
                We booked a room in oyo 19907 using goibibo app and at hotel our check-in was denied stating unmarried couples are not allowed but in goibibo app it was clearly mentioned that unmarried couples are allowed. My check-in was on 10 aug and check out on 13 aug, after contacting goibibo regarding this issue at around 4:30 pm and they agreed their mistake and told they will provide a solution within 30mins still not resolved. Late night they called and told to check-in different hotel myself they cannot help us in anyway. It was late night and we were totally exhausted by travelling and for around 8hrs we were roaming around the city with our luggage because we had no place to check-in. They forced us to spend the night on footpath and next day again they gave a fake promise that they will provide an alternate hotel and now around 8:30pm on 11th aug they are telling they cannot provide any alternate hotel. There is this particular person called sm hassan who was handling our issue was very unprofessional, irresponsible and rude. He used to tell he we callback within 10mins and never callback. After around 9pm last night he callback at 6:30pm today after complaining multiple times.
                Now we are living on the streets of hyderabad from last 30hrs and goibibo is not at all willing to rectify their mistake. And very poor customer service and no timely response.

                  Dear sir,
                  Kindly inform you yesterday i booked a hotel in jodhpur (Raj) & hotel denied by hotelier, i contact with goibibo team, the didn't give me satisfied response for 1 hour, also give money back without my allowance without any compensation.

                  Very disappointed to see this type of behavior in biggest company like goibibo.

                        I booked the hotel via goibibo, due to some medical emergencies, i asked for the postpone or cancel. I called the customercare first neha picked the call, asked to submit the bill and promised me to call back in 10 min, but did not receive any call. Again i called the cc rohit picked the call, after asking me to hold said we did not receive any bill from your end, but i receive the mail from go ibibo saying that

                          I booked a hotel name mint ebony in banjara hills, hyderabad for 2 nights. There were lots of bedbugs in my room as well as rooms are not maintained properly. They charge[protected]/- per night. After complaining to goibibo, they changed this hotel to hotel tanisha, jubilee hills, hyderabad. But again, same bedbugs problem, lots of cockroaches were there in our room in tanisha hotel. So again we complained to goibibo about same problems. Goibibo assured me that they will provide me new hotel or will refund. But even after so much complaining and all those requests, goibibo didn’t called back and didn’t even bothered to change our room. Very bad service from goibibo.

                            I have booked hotel online via goibibo. Booking id was htl54fubu4. I have got confirmed booking upon reaching hotel, they denied to provide an room to us and said we don't accept online booking. If they don't accept online booking, then why it is listed on goibibo site and why goibibo taking money from customers did they accept online payment and generate confirmation voucher. Then after i cancel my booking on 7th morg around 7am and i got all confirmation mail and 1 phone call that we have generate refund for you they have sent just an confirmation code of refund[protected] but i have not received any refund of my amount and that was 1670rs. There customer care also not responding properly u can not make direct call to customer care when u call ‭[protected]‬ and ‭[protected]‬ only computer picup call and not direct connect to customer care it’s very difficult to send message to customer care only computer reply on goibio application its very very ridiculous and nonsense i am very much disappointed with the service of goibibo. My first experience was very good they refund my amount with in 5 to 10 min i think that was trick to attract new people that they are giving very good and fast service... Plz i want my refund immediately... Do me an favour thx

But after 15 days no refund amount receive, so i contact irctc and they told me, refund amount issue 20 june if you not receive money please contact goibibo. But goibibo has no customer service.                                 loophole in international flight booking system

                                I confirmed with goibibo itself post booking that whether for booking international flight passport details are mandatory and answer was yes. However, when i had booked my international flight i was never asked for passport details.. Even post booking no one informed me about this before i called and enquired about the same.. I have escalated the issue in 6.08.2019 and goibibo was supposed to revert within 72 hours.. No response is yet received...

                                I booked hotel orbit 34a sector of chandigarh on 9 the august. As i was traveling alone with my 5 years old kid. From hamirpur to chandigarh it's around 200 km. After i booked on go ibibo money was deducted from my account too but no confirmation msg was sent. They simply sent msg that they are holding my booking. I tried to call customer support no. Provided by them but was on hold for around half an hour with no reply nd call bk.. I was on the road with my kid alone till to 9:30 in d night as i was not getting any confirmation and support from goibibo. When i reached the booked hotel they said there is no hotel booked on my name. I was literally in tearsras i was driving from last 6 hours wid. My kid.. Nd at 10 at night we are cheated by these people. The mental trauma i underwent can not understand.in d hand i booked another room wid much higher price on the spot and got room. Till to now my money is not refunded nd i am still not able to talk to dese ppl s customer support. Helo

                                  I booked a cab from modeltown, delhi to zirakpur, punjab on 9/08/2019, paid advance of rs255 nd the total amount was 1696rs. Trip was suppose to start by 4:30pm. From the time of confirmed booking till the start time of trip i hv been continuously informed that your cab is on the way dont worry your trip will start on time. And at 5pm already after delay of half n hour i m getting call from goibibo people that unfortunately they cant find any cab for me. Why the hell you guys didnt informed me before hand that you are not able to track any cab so that i can book frm somewhere else nd reach zirakpur for my important meeting. Its very very dis-heartening on your part. Bloody hell is this the way to satisfy a customer so unprofessional it is. M going to file a legal complaint again you guys though i have all the details of booking nd after booking confirmation messages nd even the call recordings too.

                                    I have made a complaint vide complaint no 29088047, the complaint was regarding cancellation done through goibibo app accidentally, due to wrong app options, i want to know the cancellation charges, hence i visited goibibo app under head cancellation charges and selected the traveller, further when i clicked on review my cancellation charges, the ticket got cancelled, which i was not intending to do, just because the app had glitch i had to suffer.

                                    Problem in app - if you go to app there are two options, one is for cancellation and another is cancellation charges, i went to cancellation charges and got my ticket cancelled.

                                    How is it possible to get your ticket cancelled even when i didn't go to cancel option.

                                    I have this company 5 days, i was told that it will be resolved on 72 hrs max, still nothing has been done

                                    I request you to please refund my charges, or i will have to escalate it further.

                                      I have booked hotel online via goibibo. Booking id is [protected]. I have got confirmed booking voucher. Upon reaching hotel, they denied to allot room to us and said we don't accept online booking. If they don't accept online booking, then why it is listed on goibibo site and why did they accept online payment and generate confirmation voucher. Now, i am trying to call goibibo customer care for 100% refund amount but they are not responding on toll free number. They are not even receiving calls despite of many calls. I want my refund immediately.

                                      I have booked a room on 1st August . Selected erroneously a wrong room. immediately I have cancelled it.
                                      I got a mail that your refund will be credited within 4 to 5 days.
                                      Till date I have not received it.
