02 oct 17 i had my ticket from goa to pune at 20:35 and when i called to enquire which stop was bus coming they say that it is cancelled you can see any other bus. When i asked to arrange a ticket for me they simply said it is not possible at this point of time. It was horrible for me to find a bus as 02nd october was a long weekend and all the buses were completely full.
Why did they show the ticket as confirm they should have told me earlier that ticket is on hold i would have easily arranged prior. And the most interesting thing that at 18:30 i called them so they said it is cancelled it should be noted. Otherwise i would have got this surprising news at 20:35 and then it would have been impossible for me to return pune. My ticket was ac sleeper and then somehow i came sitting in an non ac bus and that too sitting the whole night. It made my journey so tough. The next day i had to join office and because of the timing i directly got down near my office and somehow reported at my office.

I want a compensation of 10 thousand as a customer.

I cant explain in words the kind of trouble I Faced and it was so cumbersome that I could not resist myself writing to consumer forum enen after 10+ days have past.

      We have booked 3 tickets for us from krabi to bangkok for today 25 th september in thai lion air through goibibo.com (Flight:sl815, pnr:wnipgt, booking in name of anik mukherjee confirmed and find the tickets) and next

      (Flight no: sl815, pnr: xvdsrr), we had confirmed booked tickets with ticket no (816-[protected] & 816-[protected]).

      But, during check in time thai lion air desk stated that ticket no - 816-[protected] in the name of sumanto ghanty) wasn’t confirmed. Thai lion air also showed us that ticket wasn’t comfirmed (See the screenshot below). So we called goibibo helpline as thai lion air told us to talk with our agent. But no necessary action or even a reply wasn’t given from their side. We were helpless at the last moment just 1 hour before takeoff of our flight.

      So, we had no options without buying a new ticket at a much higher price from the thai lion air counter based at krabi airport.

      It’s a extremely poor and unprofessional service from goibibo.com.

        I had a confirmed bus booking from udaipur to ahemdabad for 14.10.17 through goibibo in the name of geetika changwal with pnr no.[protected] details as under-

        1 the operater did not sent the bus number inspite of repeated reminder to goibibo staff. One ms. Dimpy informed that the operator woud send the bus number but not sent.
        2. The land line number given by goibibo belonged to eagel travels and not rishabh travels the actual operater. On calling to givenkand line number it was informed that they have no booking in this name and asked us to contact rishibh travels.
        3. The mobile number given did not reply inspite of numbet of attempts.
        4. We waited at pickup point but bus did not arrive, hence we again made a call to goibibo at around 15.30 hrs now we were informed that bus had left from the office and woud arrive at pickup point soon. When bus did not arrive at around 1600 hrs we against called goibibo, now they said they are coordnating with operator and asked us to wait but neither bus arrived nor any call came from goibibo.
        5. She had to take another bus at 1630 hrs as getting late.
        6. When goibibo was again contacted one ms sakshi informed that another guy mr prashant is looking after this matter and the call was forwarded to him, he informed that he is trying to contact the operator and will get back soon. He did not care about the passenger waiting at pickup point and getting harrased being a lady.
        7. The services of goibibo is very poor, unsatisfactory, harassment to a lady passenger standing on road at pickup point inspite of confirmed booking with pre payment.
        8. This amounts to cheating and fraud both by goibibo and the concerned operater.

        9. The payment of the booking should be refunded immediately with rs 50000/- as harassment penalty.in case goibibo fails to do so we will be forced to approach consumer court for the remedy.

          Hi Team,

          I had booked a return ticket from Chandigarh to Mangalore with Booking Reference DJ7EGB, but it got re-scheduled for 30th October, thus, I canceled the ticket and re-booked a flight on 27th October instead. The moment I cancelled the flight, a message appeared that my money will get refunded in a week, but till now I haven't received any amount in my account. Kindly look into the matter or else I'll have to raise my concern to the management.

            Hello all,
            I had booked a flight from amsterdam to bangalore through british airways. The flight had a transit in london for 3 hours.

            I had checked with goibibo and you had also connected with the airlines and committed to me that a transit visa is not required.

            However in the amsterdam airport i was denied to board the fight.
            After which i was told by the goibibo executive to cancel the flight and make a different arrangement.

            I have faced a really tough time because of goibibo.
            Being a very valuable customer and having made numerous amount of transactions, i did not expect such a poor response from your end.

            Kindly resolve my issue and make a refund at the earliest.
            I have been calling the cal center and the response has been weak.

            Issue Raised:

            1. Wrong information provided to you by the agent on "Transit visa ".

            As per investigation:
            1. We checked the call recording and could not find any wrong information passed to you on transit visa the agent.
            · You enquired as you trying to book a flight for BLR-JED-CDG for 2 passengers and wanted to know you requires any Transit Visa while traveling.
            · You also explained that you would not go from the airport and would stay there only. you just wanted to confirm if you still required Transit Visa.
            · Advisor told that he is not sure about the same and he wanted to check with a/l first instead of giving any information.
            · You requested him to check Transit Visa for your another booking id - TUAV4QDLU.
            · Advisor requested him to wait for 20 minutes so that he will check with a/l and call him back with the details.
            · Advisor called back with the Transit Visa details but you did not pick the call hence, the information was not shared by him.

            2. We heard the Second call also Advisor gave you the airline's contact number and did not give any commitment on the transit visa.
            3. The transit visa information is clearly visible on our website which states that customer needs to check for their visa before the travel.

            Withstanding above points the error of being on goibibo end is NIL, As you are our privilege customer we request you to wait and we will get back to you with the final resolution.

            KIndly share your alternate contact number so that we call and assist you, also request you to share any detail on wrong information by the agent(Maybe you called us from different number or if you remember the agent name)

              Hello sir/madam,

              I booked a bus in goibibo from bangalore to kozhikode on sep/03/17, i booked the ticket because i had pic up from hebbal
              I. E:
              (Van pickup) kallada travels, near hebbal crime station

              But one of there executive from kallada travel called me around 1pm on sept 3 and told they cant arrange me shuttle due to onam for pic up and told to come directly to there office, but there office pic up is very far from my home location.

              So i called goibibo customer care and i told them about the issue, there customer executive contacted the travellers and asked about the boarding point but travellers dint agree, then customer executive told they will cancel my ticket from there side and process my refund, after they told that i booked a new ticket and went to kozhikode from bangalore.

              Now i see from many days my refund is not processed, so i called customer care again, they started telling my ticket is not cancelled because the traveller agent told that they will pay my taxi charges and come in taxi to there location, but no one informed me about that, so i had to book extra ticket and go, so i gave complain again i spoke to manager of customer care, he promised me he will resolve the issue and call back me in 1 day, but its been 1 week non of goibibo customer care ppl contacted me nor got my refund of 600rs.

              Plss resolve the issue.

                  Afyer canceling my flight, now the company personal called me and asked for refund status from my side, that whether half refund is applicable in this case or not.

                  The ibibo application has updated the status to refunded & partial refunded (But which is a scam & no refund or partial refund is given till now)

                  If my journey is from mumbai to lucknow (Via delhi) in a same jet airline. And if half of my journey is halted (Flight cancelled without prior notice from del to lucknow), then technically the whole journey is disrupted and the full refund is applicable.

                  Also acording to dgca guidelines the compensation is also applicable in this case as well.!!!

                  Please note the cancellation was done from the airline and for DEL-LKO sector only and a full refund for the particular sector since same was not used. Remaining all sector for onward and return have been used. You may directly take this up with the airline for the refund of all sectors and compensation. We will not be able to take this further since the refund for the cancelled sector has already been processed as we received from the airline.

                      I booked a flight from jabalpur to hyderabad and then a connecting flight from hyderabad to pune dated 26th july 2017 for me, my wife and my infant baby.
                      The flight was insured by the insurance listed on goibibo website only while booking ticket. After booking ticket i got flight itinerary as well as insurance certificates for all the passengers where detailed terms and conditions were mentioned.

                      I had to cancel all these bookings as my infant baby got sick suddenly and got hospitalized. I have already provided supporting documentation to goibibo 2 since 2 months. It is clearly mentioned in the policy terms and conditions that this is insured for hospitalization of non pre-existing medical conditions.
                      I have been chasing them since then for my insurance claim but no gain.

                        Dear sir,
                        I had done the booking for flights from pune to ahmadabad and return for the month of feb 2018. The booking was done in september 2017 but unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances we need to cancel the booking. The total cost of ticket is 15k but as per your refund policy only 1k will be refunded. As the booking is done in much advance and there is still a substantial time to travel, request you to process refund claim for at least 75% of the booking cost or if you can transfer it to another person that will be great.

                          We had flight from mum-lko (Viadelhi). By the time my family was boarding from mum, they were informed that flight from del-lko does not exist (After proper conversion it we wer informed that they preponed it without further notice, due to which we hav to book another fight (3 ticket) frm indigo spending another 13.5k.

                            Dear sir,
                            I was booked a ticket online from gobibo on september 26, 2017. Destination to nashik to chikhali (Maharashtra) my destination was wrongly selected from the location of chikhali (Gujarat) which was the number of customer care on the ticket, was spoken to call poulo travels. He told me call to customer care but customer care number not receive my call. Then i have mail to goibibo but customer support tell me the ticket is not cancellable and this amount not rufunding you.

                              Hi sir,

                              I booked my stay in yercaud on 30th sep 2017 via goibibo. I received confirmation of booking from gobibo.

                              Now they communicated me that my stay will be cancelled due to fault from goibibo and hotel.

                              Due to this cancellation, i have been forced to cancel my trip and it lead to loss of around 10000 rupees and wasted my one full day in handling with goibibo team.

                              Hence i lodge a complaint against goibibo team and highly condemn their poor way of making their customers stranded in road due to their fault.

                              I demand a stringent action against goibibo team for such behaviour.

                                  My wife had booked 4 days in 4 points sheraton hotel, dubai from goibibo from 9th to 13th sep 2017. Since she was taken ill her doctor advised not to travel from mumbai to dubai. We informed goibibo in morning of 9th sep itself that she cannot travel and that they should cancel the booking. After many to and fro calls they said no refund is possible. As the hotel had taken it as a no show and that they had not been informed. Since we had booked thru goibibo we reported immediately to goibibo that she cannot come. And they said we will inform the hotel. After one or two calls they said the hotel is asking for the doctors certificate. We provided the doctors certificate also by uploading it.
                                  After four days they tell us no refund is posssible.
                                  This is totallly unfair. They can at the most deduct 1 days fare.

                                    I cancelled this booking due to some other appointments.
                                    They promised me a refund by maximum 7 to 14 working days as per their policy.

                                    And the customer service guys are giving tall promises and they are not giving any clarity and now they are disconnecting my call today 5 time i called and asked to get the maneger online they disconnected all the time.

                                      I have made a payment to ignou on 17/09/2017 from my union bank of india a/c. [protected] for rs. 480 regarding payment of exam fees for my grand daughter in ignou portal.

                                      The transaction failed but the payment was captured in my account as e pay to: ibibo web pvt ltd for rs. 480/- which reflects as debited to my bank account. My bank also send me massage regarding the payment.

                                      Kindly look in to the matter as it is a question to my grand daughter's future. If the payment is not directed to ignou please reverse the amount back to my bank account, so that i can take alternative for payment solution.
