1. What is No Cost EMI?

No Cost EMI is an offer by which you pay your EMI provider only the product price, equally divided over your repayment timeline.
For example, if you buy a Rs.15, 000 item at a 6 month tenure, you will pay your EMI provider Rs.2, 500 every month for 6 months, amounting to a total of Rs.15, 000*.

2. Which payment methods can I use to get a No Cost EMI?

No cost EMI is available on credit cards from Standard Chartered, Yes Bank, HSBC, IndusInd Bank, RBL Bank HDFC Bank, SBI Card, ICICI, Axis Bank, Kotak, Citi (Valid on Goibibo’s Website, Mobile site, Android & iOS App only) and Bajaj Finserv EMI cards

3. Are there any fees or down payment?

There are no processing fees or down payment for these transactions. Your bank will charge GST on the interest component of the EMI.

4. Is No cost EMI available on all products on the site?

No cost EMI is available on Domestic & International Flight & Hotels bookings only.

5. Can I use my Wallet balance / any other discount along with the No cost EMI offer?

No, you cannot. Please deselect any pre applied discount to make a payment using the No cost EMI offer.

6. Will my bank continue to charge me interest?

Yes, your bank will charge you interest. However, this interest charge has been provided to you as an upfront discount at the time of your purchase, effectively giving you the benefit of a No Cost EMI*.

7. How will my EMI be charged?

Your EMI provider will take 3-5 working days to process your EMI. Once done, your EMI will be charged on a monthly basis, as per your credit card billing cycle or payment instructions with your EMI provider. Please check with your provider for specific details.
*Note: this excludes GST that will be charged by your bank on your interest component of the EMI

So as part of this, discount of Rs 1298 was given as NoCostEMI discount towards the bank interest (as per point 7 above).
But the bank charged around Rs.1457 + GST to me as interest on this EMI.
After checking with Bank, this complete loan info is given by IBIBO (merchant) to bank which later is updated in the customer account.

When i asked IBIBO customer care for the refund of the difference in interest charges, they are asking all the details and produce paper from the bank etc when IBIBO is the one which provides all details to bank.
Also when asked to IBIBO customer care person on how the NoCostEMI discount is calculated, they are not clarifying nor answering and keep on ignoring.
Ibibo Group / Goibibo customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Have not got any response from ibibo yet.
Have raised complaint here as well as with them. Also had verbal complaint to customer care but no response

    I booked a 3 night stay at the OYO 66982 Hotel Skyway Inn from 28th May - 31st May 2022.

    The BOOKING ID - HTLDSAN2GX56AMR7

    The person at the reception said there were no available rooms and no booking in the requested name. There is no option for refund anywhere in the site and the customer service in the app is not very helpful. This caused a lot of inconvenience since the person had to hunt for available hotel rooms past midnight all by herself.
    Please help me get a refund on this booking.

      We made payment of INR 322, 230 through Ibibo web for Icici loan repayment.
      The payment was detucted from our bank but not credited to Icici loan account. We are unable to get refund/ get our money tranferred to Icici Loan account.

        Money is deducted from my bank account against the booking made on 26th May 2022 for a Bus from Delhi to Jaipur on 28th May 2022.

          I have paid for the booking of a bus from Hyderabad to Chennai. The amount of 1732 got deducted but the ticket hasn’t been booked. I want the deducted money to be paid back.

            Dear Team,
            I had booked a bus from Ahemdabad to Anjar ( Gujarat) but the bus was cancelled by the operator and we were told by them and Goibibo team that i will get my refund within 7 days and meanwhile Goibibo team will connect with me.
            But Neither i have received any call nor refund for my booking.
            This is highly unprofessional by such a customer oriented company like Goibibo
            Please look intot this matter as soon as possible

                I had booked cab from Banga Punjab to Shalimar Bagh Delhi on on 17/05/2022, pick up from Banga at 11.00 A.M. on 22/05/2022.

                On 22/05/2022 morning, I was ready for journey and was waiting for Driver and vehicle particulars. At about 10.25 A.M. I received A call from vendor that due to Sunday and tourist rush, Diesel Car is not available and only CNG car can be provided.

                As I was to reach Delhi urgently by 7.00 P.M. to attend some family celebration, I agreed to CNG cab.

                Pick up time was 11.00 A.M. but as cab did not arrive, I called goibibo customer care service at 11.15 A.M.

                Customer care executive told me to hold phone and contacted vendor.

                After talking to vendor, customer care executive told me that my booking was cancelled by vendor as no cab was available.

                I was shocked on hearing reply of customer care executive.

                I could never expect such response from a reputed company like goibibo.

                When I told that I have to reach Delhi urgently and due to this I had booked cab five days in advance, executive told me that we are helpless and you can book new cab.

                When a company like goibibo fails to provide cab even though I had booked five days in advance, how I can arrange cab urgently.

                I ran from piller to post and tried to contact many persons for cab.

                At last, after about four hours a private cab driver agreed to drop me at Delhi but demanded Rs.9500/-

                I was left with no alternative but to accept his demand.

                I could not reach Delhi in time and had to miss my family celebration.

                It has not only caused financial loss to me but also mental torchure and harassment.

                Keeping into consideration above facts, I request you to compensate me for the financial loss and a sum of Rs.25000/- towards mental torchure and harassment failing which I shall not be left with any alternative but to take the matter to court of law and other higher authorities of tourism industry.

                    Hiii, my name is Khushi and I made a booking from GoIbibo and then cancelled it. I have not received any refund for the same even though its more than 20 days now.
                    I have generated a ticket for same 4 to 5 days ago, which was approved but no response received yet.
                    I also mailed the same with proper documents and got no reply.
                    Please do the needful and provide the refund ASAP.

                              Dear Goibibo team

                              My booking id is HTLDNANSUTKJ34HZ

                              This hotel I'm not finding safe for women.

                              I was there for max 1 hour and feel Insecured hence forth i left from there.

                              I request to please cancel my booking and issue me my full refund else I'll have to go ahead with customer case against goibibo and that hotel because inspite of these fact they are arguing with me that refund will nt be released.

                                I feel cheated

                                Worst customer care approach where there is no way to talk to anyone about refund
                                Every day each executive follows one approach to communicat ethe issue but never gets to solution
                                Every day every day executive asks to wait 24-48 hours and i call back to hear no resolution

                                    I booked for cochin to shenyang flight on 20 feb 2020 . due to the covid the flight was cancelled and everyone of my friend who booked the same flight has been refunded and i have been till now like its been more 2 years now everytime i call the customer care regarding the problem they are just careless and neglecting my complaint and making me wait like a stupid fool . respectfully i have right to get the refund their no other complication regarding the issue but they are not just giving the refund

                                      I had to cancel my train ticket from goibibo, because i was on waiting list,
                                      I cancelled on 29th april. and it was said refund would be credited in 5 - 7 working days. it also shows in the app money credited. but no actual transaction has been made. There is also no direct way of contacting them. This is frustrating. None of the toll free numbers are worknig also
