Hi, This is in regards to the refund issues I am facing with Gobibibo.com. I have booked my flights tickets of Thai Airways through Goibibo.com. Due to some Visa issues I had to reschedule my connecting flight tickets. I contacted Goibibo.com for rescheduling the tickets and they charged my Rs. 3902 for two tickets. I found the same incorrect because I read the thai airways policy that there are no charges for rescheduling the tickets. So After that I contacted Thai Airways ticketing department directly and told them the issue. They told me that Goibibo should not have charged any charges as it is free. Then i made the thai airways executive to talk to Goibibo.com Agents directly conference call. He discussed everything in detail with Goibibo agent (Mr. Farhan) that no payment should have been charged and the payment should be refunded. Finally Thai airways agent rescheduled the tickets for his side directly and told the Goibibo agent to refund the money. The Goibibo agent agreed at that time and promised me to send me the refund mail within 10-15 mins. But I didnt receive any mail till neither they processed any refund request till now. I like your show very much and I really appreciate the way you handle the customer request. I please request you to go ahead and take a look at my problem. Thanks Ankit Jain

    I have booked ticket in Shameem travels from Bangalore to Hyderabad on Sept 16th, 2013 for travel on 31st October 2013 with boarding point as Hebbal. The departure time mentioned was 10.15pm. I started from my place at 8pm and reached boarding point by 9.45pm. The bus did turn up till 10.25pm and gave call to the operator of Shameem travels. He said Bus just left to Majestic and it will take half and hour more. The bus didn't come till 11pm and gave call to shameem again at 11.06pm. He said it will take 15mins more. The bus came at 11.20pm and when I show my ticket he says "YOUR BUS GOT CANCELLED" I was like you didn't inform me. He said the website from which you booked the ticket should inform you.Call them and ask for alternative. I requested him to wait until I call goibibo.com. He said "NO SEATS AVAILABLE AND LEFT". I called goibibo at 11.21pm and the operator took long time to understand my issue and she was like "YOU SHOULD HAVE INFORMED US 2HOURS BEFORE" I was shocked to hear that and said "YOU'RE THE GUYS WHO'RE SUPPOSED TO INFORM ME". She took shameem operator's contact no from me and put me on hold for long and came back with news saying "SORRY FOR INCONVENIENCE, NO ALTERNATIVES, WE'LL GIVE U FULL REFUND, TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND GO HOME" This call went for 15mins and it was 11.40pm already. By the time I reach my bus stop to take bus for my route it was 12mid night. Being an alone girl it was such an inconvenience to get back as there was no public transport and I took a pooled car which wasn't safety at all at that point of time. I reached home by 1am. I am really angry with what has happened and want to sue this goibibo.com ppl. How to do that ?

      I booked a bus on Oct. 4, 2013 for travelling from Bangalore to Kollam for travelling on 8th October. I went there to board the bus on that day at the landmark provided (Opp.Ayyappa Temple, Bata showroom, Downstairs, Madiwala. MADIWALA (KPN Travels)) They said that the bus was cancelled. They didnt even provide me an option of another bus. I couldn't travel that day. Later on Oct 11th I send them a mail for refund. I didnt get a response from them for 7 days. Mean while i asked for the status of the request, no one cared to respond. I was fed up and thought of calling them. I spoke to a guy from Goibibo customer service, he told me he will send a mail to operator again for confirming that the bus was cancelled. He gave me the ticket number 46790621. He assured me i will get a refund within a week. As i didnt get a response from them even after 8 days I called back Goibibo. This time i spoke to a very rude customer service agent named Neha. She told me that the operator (KPN travels) informed them that the bus was not cancelled and because of that they are not going to refund my money. I was actually shocked. With all the problems they have given me till now, they are not going to provide the refund now. She tried to conference the call with the operator but she told she couldn't connect to them as they are busy. She told me this was also documented under the same ticket number[protected]. She asked me to call them later. She kept on repeating throughout the call that as operator has informed that the bus has cancelled, i will not get the refund. At this point I don't understand whether its a issue with goibibo or the bus operator (KPN travels). Anyways as a customer I am completely dissatisfied with your service.       Yes, finally i got it resolved. If you are facing a similar problem what i would recommend is exposing the issue in social media. I posted the link to consumer complaints directly on their facebook page. This made them escalate the issue with high priority. Things started working out amazingly fast after that, I started getting replied and messages from them. Loved the power of social media. Also i have submitted a complaint in a 3party website name Akosha, which might have had some impact in the procedure as well. Anyways im happy that the issue was resolved. All the best. cheers guys :)

        AFTER TWO HOURS OF GOOGLE SEARCH, I DECIDED TO USE THESE CHEATS TO BUY TICKETS FOR A FAMILY OF 5 ON A RETURN DOMESTIC FLIGHT. THESE CHEATS LURE YOU WITH A DISCOUNT BUT THEN CHARGE A CONVENIENCE FEE OF RS 290 PER PASSENGER WHICH IS NOT CLEARLY STATED. THEY STATE RS 290 PER BOOKING BUT CHARGE PER PERSON! EVENTUALLY, THE COST OF THE FLIGHT IS MORE THAN ANY OTHER WEBSITE INCLUDING SPICEJET WEBSITE ITSEL[censored] WHEN I RANG THEM, THEY THREATEN THAT IF I CANCEL NOW, I WILL INCUR SIGNIFICANT CANCELLATION CHARGES!         Goibibo customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
        It was unfortunate that I did not check this complaint before I made a booking myself today. Total amount was displayed as 25892. So I clicked on "make payment" and made the payment. But I was charged 27342. When I contacted GoIbibo customer care, I was told that I should read terms and conditions where 290 is hidden. As a website charging money from the customer for a service, isn't it their duty to display the total chargeable amount properly before accepting payment? Why is the onus on the customer to find the hidden charges? CHEATS at best.

        Also, I see that the complaint by Gupta was intimated to GoIbibo customer service long back. I don't see that they have taken any action to fix it because I have faced same fate even 3 months after the previous complaint was raised. They are continuing with the scam. Feedbacks are not getting fixed. Will never book with goibibo again and I wont recommend goibibo to anyone because this practice of hiding total charges from the customer is unethical and they can stoop down to any level.

          I booked two bus ticket on goibibo website claiming that the bus would leave from Delhi at 5:15 p.m. and will reach Mandi(Himachal) at 01:45 a.m. At Karnal, the conductor told me that the bus will not reach Mandi before 6/7 a.m. and the time is wrongly displayed on website. I had a word with the bus vendor and he also says the same(recording is available for the same). I had to take a bus back for Gurgaon as i was supposed to leave from Mandi at 5:00 a.m. along with others. I paid for the tickets and also went through the physical stress along with my wife. I am attaching the photo of the timing appearing on GoIbibo.com website. Kindly consider it as a fraud by goibibo and help me get the compensation.

            Cancellation of bus tickets

            I purchased two night hotel staying in Hotel Suriya International Chennai from Goibibo.com, an online travel portal.Although I am married, the hotel did not allow I and my wife to check in as we were not carrying marriage proof (both o[censored] had photo ID). This is completely justified from hotel' side. Goibibo never communicated that for married couple, marriage proof is required to check-in. Their confirmation mail is completely misguiding as it says that all the person checking in needs to carry Photo ID(PAN card).Goibibo is cheating people as they must have informed that married couple needs to produce marriage proof for check-in. I lodged a complaint to cstomer care and they said no refund will be processed.

              Sir, I had booked a 2 way International Flight ticket on 26th August 2013 through GOIBIBO from DAMMAM TO BANGALROE AND RETURN on JETAIRWAYS costing Rs.28,571/-. However due to my vacation problem from the company, I had to cancel my ticket within 2 days from booking. I cancelled my ticket through GOibibo online process. To confirm my cancellation, I called their customer service # [protected] and gave the ticket details, and the representative confirmed the same and told me that around RS.4000/- will be deducted and balance will be refunded within 15 working days. After waiting for 15 days, I again called customer service and enquired about the status of my refund. They promised me refund within 7 working days. After 7 days I sent a email to the customer service representative and the management team. Within 24 hours I got reply saying "WE CAN ONLY PROCESS THIS REFUND ON AIRLINE'S APPROVAL and request you to allow us another 5 working days. They are just giving vague assurances with no refund. I think they don't want to refund. Can I get money through this Consumer Complaint service. Regards NOOR AHMED

                Its totally Fruad Company .
                Please check i[censored] made same value transactions from swiggy as food order.or any other app you use . I had same transactions and was confused as I don't use ibibo but then same amount transactions was found on swiggy on same date.
                Same was happened for me . I spoke with bank customer care. so i submitted dispute form to the hdfc bank.

                  I booked a flight ticket on goibibo.com, i choose this site because it was offering Free coupons for shopping worth 5000/- at https://www.goibibo.com/offers/5000/ at it had snapdeal coupon for flat 25% online shopping, but after order completion i received the coupon mail but thata doesn't hai Snap Deal coupon. This was not expected from such a reputed site, it's quite clear goibibo fooling customers. That coupon was the only reason a booked ticket from Goibibo.                   I have booked a flight ticket Booking No: H6EC1B7TR & Booking date:17/08/2013 on Goibibo because it was offering GO5000 coupon which had multiple coupons for other online shopping sites. That offer included 25% Flat off for shopping on snap deal you can check offer on this link https://www.goibibo.com/offers/5000/ but the mail i received didn't include Snap deal coupon and that coupon was the only reason i choose goibibo for booking. This is really disappointing from a reputed site like Goibibo. Company fooling customer by fake attractive coupons.                     Hi Team,

                    I am facing immense problem in rescheduling my flight tickets through goibibo.com(from where i booked my flight tickets). The staff is not co-operative and they always have this plea of technical failure after which they ask me to directly call the airlines for rescheduling. Also, i have been trying to call the airline as well the goibibo customare care for 2 days for the same. After 2 days they ask me to book the flight in some other class with higher charges. Whereas i can see the same class available in their site.

                    Highly disappointing when my request is not taken care of for a span of 2 days and thereafter. Please look into this matter in high consideration.

                      I Sanjay Goel, took a package for my wife and 2 kids from go ibibo site and purchased a package for 2 nights stay at hotel ITC Maratha Mumbai for 3 adults. Go Ibibo sold me a package for 2 nights for 3 adults and sent me a voucher for 3 adults. Now, when my family reached the hotel they were at shock that extra bed was not updated to the hotel by go ibibo, however, with a gesture the hotel management have given extra bed at no extra cost. Next surprise the hotel said there is no complimentary breakfast included in the package sold, we spoke to Ms Ritu at 15:45 hrs on dated 11/06/2013 at go ibibo Gurgaon office and she said your voucher doesn't mention complimentary breakfast, this was to utmost surprise to us as while selling the package, go ibibo has offered complimentary breakfast in the inclusions. We updated the hotel and it came as surprise to them as well. Hotel management told us it is a mistake from the travel agency. Where do the customer go after purchasing such kind of packages, we feel STRANDED and CHEATED by goibibo.com.

                        in your services many fake promise you are giving to your clients

                        I have seen your add on tv and faith on you but your services are worst.

                        I think you & your company is only collecting the money. You don't know about your operators which kind of service they are providing. you are charging more than double Amount and in place of service result is nil.

                        on dated 3.6.2013 I have booked 2 tickets from Katra - Ambala (Bus AC) though Sahiba Travels (India). My Boarding Time was 6.00 at Evening. Bus will start at 7.30 round. Bus no. 603.
                        1. First what ever address is given on the Ticket it was wrong. You are given Taxi Stand. But They board at Guru nanak Parking . I was wasted my money on Auto. and the operator of Hill top in Katra given the wrong address of Boarding that was Subhash Park. 5.40 I was there but there was no bus they given the wrong address to me.

                        2. During the booking time it shown 2 Spears sheets but in the bus it is combine. Second - Fake Promise.
                        3. You are Charge 2120/- for two sheet. but actual fare of the same bus and sleeper is 700/- each. - Low amount promise- fake promise. I asked the rate from ticket checking person He said we charge 650 to 1000/- in between in rush seasons. Delhi passaganger rates are 700/- only I paid 1100/- for ambala. what is that....
                        4. After boarding I talk to your executive regarding the condition of bus. but they said sir I will talk to operator .... noting more than that....
                        5. I have 10 months baby with me - without Ac. plz tell me in cabin how was condition. I told driver but he talked with me very rudely and said that "have you asked us before booking online ticketing on goibibo"
                        6. I was booked my ticket Katra to Ambala - First bus reach to Chandigarh than they take new route to save toll tax. they drop me Sahabad (Ambala) round 40 K.m. away to ambala to Delhi road. I booked my ticket from Ambala City but they told we will not drop you ambala city. with small baby it was not tolerable. time was 5.30 morning. when i asked to driver they made excuse we dont now. NH 1 is jam is there. what rubbish is that .

                        Bus is dump. No Ac in Cabins. stop that service.

                        if you don't have ambala stoppage in your route then why you booked the tickets. it s your mistake.

                        Plz take some necessary action against the operator....

                        Hi,

                        When I joined NIM in Feb 2009, I was given many Fake Promises regarding admission process, supplying books on time & Question papers for assisting me in my studies, but after tacking admission in their institute they were unable to keep their promises they did not provide all required books in spite of calling them regularly they do not provide any feed back.
                        I have respect & I admire the institute that works sincerely towards making the bright future of students but this institute (NIM) does not belong to that category. I have come forward against institute that because I don’t want any student to be cheated like me, & get collapsed & loose hope of success in their life just because of these kind of institutes.
                        So I request the entire students who wish to take admission in NIM (National Institute of Management) not to fall prey to their fake promises.
                        Its just a conspiracy to catch students and play with them & their future just for money.

                        yes they are blatantly scamming people, their website invariably changes booking details by the time we reach payment page, its completely different, Its happend twice and they offered me a refund of 272 per ticket which cost me 2.5k and i lost 6k total in their scam. this issue needs to be looked into cause many people have fallen for their scams and fake promises. Not to mention the spam mails they send. Ibibo is definitely scamming people, booking wrong details on purpose so people are forced to change or cancel. And not refunding back. Horrible experience!

                          I was trying to book an air ticket from bhubaneswar to Bangalore for 24 th jun 2013 on 1st jun 2013,i got an error saying translation not processed due to internal sever error.Hence close the site and booked again for the same.At the end , two time my card got debited and i got two ticket for same name.Please find the error message as attached.Now Goibibo is telling, it indigo's fault or master card hdfc bank's fault and asking me to cancel the 1st ticket with 1500 fine.

                            I had booked 2 tickets for a group of 7 people on 30-Apr-13 with the booking ids: GOBUS7e3b[protected] & GOBUSfe1a[protected] for a journey from Chandigarh to Manali on 15-May-13 through Himachal Holidays Tours. To my extreme disappointment, we were not allowed to occupy the booked seat numbers as per our tickets. Instead, we had to sit right at the back; it was a very uncomfortable journey.

                            I am a regular customer of Goibibo, this was least expected from your company. At the middle of the night, we had no other option because of our subsequent tour plans and so, had to compromise. It has been a very bad experience for us. Therefore, I want some serious action to be taken against whosoever is responsible for the same and also, I want compensation for the inconvenience caused to us. If this does not happen, then I will definitely defame Goibibo and ask all people known to me, to stay away from Goibibo.com.

                              I booked tickets from Bengaluru to Kochi & viceversa on 6th May for 3 persons. My booking ID is AMD3JRHGB. Initially Goibibo calculated Rs 24000/- approx. and suddenly the site got hanged, and in 2 minutes it showed the total amount Rs 26778/-. Goibibo charged a total amount of Rs 26778/-. Out of this, Rs 10908/- were towards Indigo flight (COK to BLR). The rest Rs. 15870 were charged towards Jet Airways Flight. This means Rs 5290/- per person, whereas later I found that jetairways website were charging Rs 4211/- per person. They had mistakingly charged Rs 1079/- extra per person, which amounts to Rs 3237/- for three persons. I informed the same to Goibibo through mail. Goibibo replied that they do not quote fares through email since the fares are subject to change due to the dynamic airline inventory.
                              My question is: If Goibibo did not cheat me, why it doesn't send the prices of Jetairways tickets available at the time of booking? I have written again asking about the rates that were present at the jetairways site at the time of booking, but Goibibo is not answering..

                                This is in reference to the booking made for a hotel from GoIbibo?s website. This booking was made well in advance for a Hotel in Amritsar(Hotel Grace) for the period from 19th April?13 to 21st April?13. On reaching the destination at 11:30PM on 19th April?13, we were told by the Hotel Officials that no such booking has been made and was told that they were full. On contacting GoIbibo around 11:45PM, they had a word with the concerned person available in the Hotel but nothing concrete could turn out. Both the parties then started looking to make an alternate arrangement but the offers made by both the parties did not satisfy us as the option provided by the Goibibo person was further 30-35 mins away (7-8Kms) from our choice of location and the one offered by the Hotel person was too small to accommodate all o[censored]s. At that point of time, we even asked the Hotel Official to give us in writing that there is no booking made from GoIbibo but they refused to do so which clearly shows that everything was goofed-up from the Hotel?s end as well. The situation became so worst that finally GoIbibo person agreed to give us in writing that the complete amount would be refunded to us and will get reflected back in our account in 4-5 days (via email). It was at that time that we started searching for some other Hotel and finally we managed to get one at 1:30AM We were not aware about the Hotel but GoIbibo being a big brand, we trusted on its processes and made a Pre-Paid booking.The complete payment was already made and then again we had to chek-in another hotel by paying on our own. After the whole incident has taken place, GoIbibo people called on 22 April and said they would refund amount in 7-8 day and compensating by giving us a voucher worth 400. The number of day for refund also keep on increasing. I would like to know that how can they expect a person to come back to avail its pathetic service once again. Also, is it worth the discomfort that we had to face in an unknown city after a tiring journey of 6 hrs. This time it were 4 o[censored]s(all Male) who managed to bear the entire situation, but what In case there had been ladies/parents with me; was it safe enough to be on the roads of an unknown city so late at night? I want to know if there is any way I can raise a complaint againt them for the troubles we had to go through.

                                  Recently I booked 4 tickets on flight AI 559 from HYD to Delhi for 19th March, 2013 with PNR JPQ42.
                                  The issue is while i was booking, the fare shown on the system was 20424 for 4 (2 adults + 2 Children).
                                  I entered the promo code GOJAN500 and it showed me further discount of Rs.500.

                                  But unfortunately at the time of making payment, i was charged Rs.24200 instead of[protected].

                                  An Extra amount of Rs.4276 was deducted. I immediately called the customer care and complained about the issue and forturnately I had taken the screenshots while processing the booking and payment. The lady asked me to send the screenshots which I did immediately. Despite several mails, ever after a month there is no word of refund, though the screenshots shows clear mistake/fraud on part of GO IBIBO. They are taking customers for granted. I have clear proof captured in screenshots.............!!!

                                    I had booked a ticket through GOIBIBO.com for travelling between Bangalore- Hyderabad on 15th of march. For some reason the bus (operated by Sharma Transports) got cancelled. I therefore contacted GoIbibo on 14th March asking them for the full refund. For namesake, they launched a ticket and no action has been taken (not even a reply) since then.
                                    |Refund not processed for ticket bus-678554 since last 2 months. Please help

                                      Due to the negligence and um professional way of communication of the agent at "Goibibo", the online airline ticketing company, i was not made aware of the the fact that my ticket is non-refundable. I had called them to inquire about my booking and had asked them to cancel the ticket since i had to prepone my ticket from 9th April 2013 to 6th April 2013 due to some personal reasons. I was told by the executive at Goibibo regarding the cancellation charges and re-scheduling charges of my ticket bearing the PNR number- JBATMA, Jet Lite Flite. After it was confirmed from the executive that my ticket can be cancelled and he was cancelling the ticket, I told him that i will directly book my ticket as i will get some discount if i book the ticket freshly for 6th April from their website. So I booked the ticket after a conversation with "Garav" the executive from Goibibo. Later after few hours when i called to check why my ticket is still not cancelled for 9th, I was told that it is a non-refundable ticket. I would request the forum to take strict action against them, I dont want to pay for their miscommunication and misleading the customers. I want them to pay back my money. For proof they have the audio recording of my conversation with the executives with the specified time and date. Also they have the timing of my fresh ticket which i had booked again after having the word of confirmation regarding the cancellation of my Ticket.
