My booking has been cancelled by Goibibo

A refund amount of Rs.7849 had been credited as Gocash+ Balance.

I have used my father's SBI account Debit card for payment during the time of booking.
But, the used card and its corresponding SB Account has been closed and inactive now.
Hence, I had requested to transfer the refund amount available in my gocash wallet to my SB account.

A Gocare team member asked me to share the closure letter from SBI stating the earlier account is closed and
also the bank details in format provided along with scanned copy of front page of the passbook.

My father had passed away and his cards and Accounts had been deactivated and closed.[attachment - Death Certificate]]
The Account closure is treated as Death Claim Settlement by the bank and No statement of Account Closure is issued from SBI.
Since the above said card and account are inactive now, I requested the Team member to transfer the refund amount to my Indian Bank SB Account[attachment - Passbook Copy].

The Gocare team member enquired me after reading my mail and confirmed on the details provided in my mail.
She had also asked that she could contact me only through e-mail or else she can contact via phone any time.
I have confirmed her to call me when required.
Also I have asked how long it would take to credit the amount in the provided bank account.
She explained that she would send the details provided by me to their finance team which verifies and approves refund and in turn asked me to wait for few days for the team's confirmation.

Requested the Gocare team member to update me on the status of my refund in the same mail chain.

Another Person from Gocare represented herself that the previous member handling my query is unavailable now and asked me how she can help.
I had explained all my problems and asked her to check the whole mail chain.
She also told that she would forward all the details to finance team and after their approval I can get my refund.
Also, she asked me to wait for 5-7 working days.

A courtesy mail from the same member arrived explaining the same as explained in phone call.

Confirmed that they had received refund request for Goibibo Booking ID GOFLDAND1A[protected].
The request was currently being reviewed and further update would be shared shortly.

Refund request for Goibibo Booking ID GOFLDAND1A[protected] was reviewed successfully and details had been forwarded to the bank.
Ticket had been marked resolved and Rs.6202/- had been debited from my Gocash+ wallet.

I have sent all the necessary details requested by your team members via email.
Hence they have marked my ticket resolved and debited Rs.6202 from my gocash wallet.
Till Dec 4, the amount is not reflected in my bank account.
Actually my refund amount is Rs.7849.
Hence I kindly request to refund my full wallet cash to my provided bank account. Kindly check with my previous ticket.

we are still working on query related to the delay in the refund,
and we have forwarded the NEFT details shared by you to our concerned team to get the refund initiated,
so would request you to wait for 48 hours for our revert.
Till 07th Jan 2021 no response for my e-mails and queries raised in their portal.
Highly disappointed about Goibibo service.

Updated by Nishanth Gsk I have received my wallet reversal amount of Rs.6202 in my Bank account .
Appreciate this action [Reference No.[protected]] and request further step to reverse my current balance of Rs.1057 from my wallet to Bank account at the earliest.
