Ibibo Group / Goibibo — Refund not received after 2 years | |
Hello Sir/Madam, Date of incident: 23/04/2019. I had booked a KLM /Jet airways flight from Munich to Bangalore and return on 24th May 2019 and 9th June 2019 respectively. I was asked by Jet airways to cancel the flight onward and backward journey as Jet airways is cancelling all the flights and I will get my refund back. Msg received from JetAir: "Dear Guest, we regret to inform that your flight 9W236 09Jun19 from BLR to AMS is cancelled due to operational reasons. We regret the inconvenience. For tickets booked on our website, mobile app or via our Contact Centre, please click bit.ly/9Wsupport to request for a refund. For tickets booked through travel agents, kindly connect with your travel agent for refunds." Hence I cancelled and asked Goibibo to refund my money. Since past 2 months, Goibibo is telling me that the refund from Jet airways is pending and I need to wait for more time (they are not clear on the timeline). However I called up Jet airways on their customer support and Jet airways has told me that the ticket booking documentation is under KLM and they cannot reimburse any money. While Goibibo tells me that Jet airways must refund the money and not KLM. Since I have paid my money to Goibibo, I expect Goibibo to refund back my money.
