Ibibo Group / Goibibo — Refund not received even after the airlines provided the refund on Dec.2020 | |
Dear sir/madam, I am a 61 year old senior citizen, I booked a flight to visit my son last year through Goibibo www.goibibo.com/. My flight was supposed to take off from MAA-FRA (Chennai-Frankfurt), FRA-MUC (Frankfurt-Munich) on 5th of May 2020 and the return was planned on 5th of June 2020 from MUC-FRA (Munich-Frankfurt), FRA-MAA (Frankfurt-Chennai). Unfortunately due to COVID 19 pandemic, the flight has been cancelled. When I tried to contact Goibibo through their Customer Service, it was not possible. I tried multiple times for many months (more than 8 months), but the line did not go through almost always. Even the few time it went through they said it is in process, but till now i did not get any refund. I also tried to email them to their email address but there was no reply. As last resort, I tried to contact Lufthansa, the airline from which the ticket was booked through Goibibo, they said the refund has been provided already to Goibibo on December 2020. I still did not get any response from them or I cannot contact them. I would kindly request you to please provide me help and support to get my refund. Being a senior citizen and just a tuition teacher, this money is very important to me and my survival during this difficult time.
