Request for Complete Refund Due to Transit Visa Issue

Dear Lufthansa Customer Support,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention an unfortunate situation I encountered while booking my recent tickets with Lufthansa. I booked the tickets for the following itinerary:

Ticket refund not received

Myself writing this complain on behalf of my sister ms. Dipannita ghosh. She had a booking with lufthansa airlines under pnr : snscob but just few days before the date of journey, lufthansa informed that one of the flights from delhi to munich has been cancelled due operational reasons. I have a United frequent flyer number. I used it when flying to Washington DC from SFO, in February 2025 (Booking confirmation number: H4LLX4). It ends with "...002". I do not remember the full number now.

I also flew from Hyderabad, India to SFO, USA and return by Lufthansa. My booking confirmation number is JB92RK. I would like to get a credit for the miles using United Frequent Flyer number.
I would appreciate it if you could help me get my number.

I tried calling your India number without success.

    On our flight from Frankfurt to Amsterdam on the 12th of oktober we had a delay of 5 hours because of 2 defect airplanes. Our flightnumber was LH 0992 and two people were flying. Mrs. HMJJ Verstappen and Mr. AC Bol. I hereby ask you for a refund for this journey.

    There is an EU clause EU-261 and all the airlines must pay EUR 600.00 for any flights delayed in-bound or out-bound Europe. Chase the airlines with email follow-ups and keep using the complaint form to register your pain, don't forget to provide your bank account details with routing/sort code etc in the complaint. it happened with me multiple times and after continuous chasers they paid. it is the responsibility of Airlines to provide the information to the passengers and provide the delayed compensation without asking but they don't. Keep chasing them and record your chasers for reference, you will get EUR 600.00 surely for each passenger. Also google EU261 rule to get to know more and don't go with any agents, they will eat up your money.

      While I was travelling from Frankfurt to Bangalore on 11th Sept 2024 by flight LH754 One of my registered baggage has been damaged during transit. I have reported same at Bangalore airport and Lufthansa officials have noted down the necessary details and photographs of the damaged suitcase. The mail received from Lufthansa has the file reference no. BLRLH16763 of the complaint. When I am trying to register the baggage complaint In the web site I am told that my ticket no.[protected] and my name as per the ticket is not matching and as such I am not able to proceed further. Plkease help me to get the compensation for the damaged luggage.

        This is my second try!! As i had to register for complaints, my whole complaint disappeared. Another thing that is not working.

        I flew w Brussels Airlines to Frankfurt, ran to Z50 to get my plane, only to hear it was delayed/cancelled. Nobody had informed me, although i am on the lufthansa and brussels airlines app.

        I was sent to Customer Services from there ! Hello to all foreigners in your airport… it is a nightmare to find the services as there are no signs at all, and not really a lot of people to help out.

        I got a hotel voucher. But surprise, at the hotel there was no dinner service. There was no buffet (thats what we were told but hotel said only if lufthansa orders it). So i had potato chips for dinner ! As i had to be at the airport at 6 according to your services, i did not get breakfast either as it only starts at 6. Even worse, no overnight kit with a toothbrush and a brush either. Honestly this is not acceptable!

        The next morning we arrive at gat B25 and there is nobody there to welcome us. We are now a group of very unhappy and not satisfied people.

        I expected a lot more from Lufthansa and the German efficacy. Brussels airlines does a lot better !

        I will send another mail w my expenses too.

          Subject : Non arrival of Baggage at CDG Airport, Paris, by Lufthansa Flight LH 1030
          This is a complaint for the trouble, and anguish caused by the non arrival of the baggage of my wife at CDG Paris from Munich on 25th March 2024
          My wife Nav Nidhi Nagrath and I, Anil Yogendrapal Nagrath, both Indian citizens, , took Flights LH 93 and LH 1030 from Munich to Paris via Frankfurt, enroute to Cancun, Mexico, on 25th March 2024. (Booking code K9ZKM6). To our utter dismay we found out that one of our bags, with all the clothes of my wife, did not arrive at Paris at 10.25 am.
          We were extremely tense as our onward Air France flight AF 650 to Cancun, was at 14.35 hrs. We made a complaint at the Lost Baggage Department, SBA, Complaint Reference no.CDGLH53752 and gave them the address of the Vidanta resort at Mayan Riviera in Cancun, where we would stay in from 25th March 2024 to 28th March 2024.we were to move to the Hilton Tulum from 28th March to 31st March, where we were going to attend a family wedding.
          After reaching the Cancun resort on 25th, we spent much of our time making numerous frantic international calls, going to the market to buy clothes. It was vey worrisome and traumatic and our holiday at Cancun, for which we had paid so much, was completely ruined. Repeated enquiries did not give us satisfactory answers as to when we would get the bag. The bag finally came to us on the morning of 28th March, just 4 hours before we left for the Tulum Hilton.
          We seek compensation for all the inconvenience and trauma caused to us by the negligence of your airline.
          We seek refund of the Munich Paris ticket Euro 409.5 plus Euro 300 towards necessary purchases and international telephone calls in Cancun.

            I have booked a flight from(Booking ID -UXBK2R) Hyderabad to Denver ( air India and luftansa) and paid Rs8350 for additional baggage in Hyderabad but during the connecting flight in Bangalore luftansa claimed that Air India took wrong amount for additional baggage so they made me pay Rs(9643)one more time stating that Air India will refund the previous Amount .

            Now Air india declining to refund the amount, who will take the responsibility to refund amount

              I was returning back from Switzerland in your airlines on 23 Sept 23 on a business class ticket. I was involuntarily downgraded from Business class to Economy. The flight staff at the counter handed over a compensation voucher mentioning that I will be getting this in a weeks' time, I haven't got the compensation for almost 6 months now.

              I wrote an email to your customer care, called a few times, unfortunately there is not solution. They are just brushing away with vague answers and recently I received an email that is half baked and they saying there is no compensation despite the voucher Lufthansa provided.

                Firstly, I would like to bring to your attention an incident involving the transportation of my pet. As mentioned before, it seems that there was an oversight on behalf of your staff, resulting in my pet not being loaded onto the flight. This situation has caused me both mental and financial stress. I kindly request reimbursement for the inconvenience caused.

                Secondly, I have yet to receive an explanation or justification for the higher price charged for my 9-year-old child's ticket. The additional cost of $730 appears to be an error on your side. I kindly request reimbursement for this overcharge and clarification regarding the pricing discrepancy.

                I understand that you may have already addressed these matters in a previous email, but I kindly ask you to provide personalized responses to each of these concerns, rather than using a copy-paste reply. I greatly appreciate your understanding and prompt attention to resolving these matters.

                  I have been trying to book air ticket through Lufthansa website since 1st December 2023 for my journey from Mumbai India to Calgary Canada and return. Journey dates are June 11, 2024 from Mumbai and November 21, 2024. Up to the stage of payment, everything was smooth. However when I make payment by using VISA debit card, the system shows message as - SOMETHING WENT WRONG. PLEASE CONTACT SUPPORT SERVICE. I tried to contact [protected]. However no body attended.
                  I do not understand what goes wrong and why system is not able to pin point what exactly goes wrong.

                    Please help. No numbers listed that I can phone in South Afrtca. Flight LH577 - Order number JC6F3T. When my son previously used Lufthansa the flight was overbooked and he was put onto another plane. I am trying to avoid that as he was suppose to already be in Germany.

                      Good day
                      I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration with the service provided by your airline during my recent trip from South Africa to Berlin ( Via Heathrow ). Unfortunately, the series of events that unfolded have not only marred our holiday experience but have also left an indelible negative impression of your airline's customer service.

                      My sister and I were scheduled to travel on EW 9467 from London to Dusseldorf and then onto Berlin ( EW 9040 ) on 22 September 2023 . However, upon our arrival at Berlin we were devastated to discover that our luggage, containing essential items for our trip, had been misplaced. This unfortunate incident left us stranded in a foreign country without our personal belongings, including clothing, toiletries, and necessary medications.

                      Despite reporting the lost baggage immediately with ticket number BEREW11978, the assistance we received from your staff was far from satisfactory. We were compelled to purchase emergency clothing, appliances, and medications at our own expense, as we were given no assurance of when our luggage would be located and returned to us.

                      I ran the Berlin Marathon in clothes and shoes that I had to buy the day beforehand.

                      To add insult to injury, on the last day of our stay in Germany, we made an early visit to the airport in the hope of resolving the luggage issue before our departure. However, the runaround we received from the lost luggage department was utterly disheartening. We were sent from one department to another, leading to a significant waste of time. By the time we reached the arrival security, it was too late to catch our originally booked flights back to the UK, despite having checked in online. The flights we missed were Tuesday 26 Sept LH 181 Berlin to Frankfurt and LH 906 Frankfurt to London

                      The Lufthansa office at the airport attempted to assist us, but there were no available flights to London on the same day. Consequently, we were forced to rebook tickets through another airline, incurring additional expenses and causing further inconvenience. The cost of purchasing tickets for my sister and as attached amounted to over 484 Pounds.

                      I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the lack of accountability and compensation provided by your airline in response to the mishandling of my luggage during a recent trip. I believe it is crucial to bring to your attention the severe inconvenience and disruption caused to my holiday, for which I am seeking fair and just resolution.

                      To compound matters, despite having taken out separate travel insurance, I have yet to receive a refund for the clothes and necessities I had to purchase due to the negligence of your airline. I was told it is company polict that if insurance is taken, no further compensation is made

                      While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can lead to luggage mishandling, the lack of accountability and compensation for the inconvenience caused is very disturbing especially for a company like Lufthansa that prides itself . The fact that my luggage was returned a week after I returned from my holiday further exemplifies the inadequacy of your airline's response.

                      I would like to emphasize that I took out travel insurance separately, expecting that it would provide a safety net in situations like this. However, the process of seeking a refund for the expenses incurred has been incredibly frustrating and unproductive.

                      I urge your airline to take responsibility for the mishandling of my sister's and my luggage and to acknowledge the severe disruption to my holiday experience. To demonstrate accountability, I request that your airline provides compensation for the inconvenience, time, and travel costs incurred during this ordeal.

                      I understand that issues can arise, but it is essential for an airline of your stature to handle them promptly and professionally. I believe that addressing this matter responsibly will not only rectify my personal situation but also contribute to improving the overall customer service experience for others.

                      Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I trust that your response will reflect a commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.

                          I had registered a missing baggage complaint at Delhi airport on August 31, 2023 (complaint No. DELLH89057). However, Lufthansa web portal is still showing ‘searching status’. I have also submitted a compensation/ feedback form on Lufthansa web portal online on September 8, 2023 but I have not provided any feedback by the Lufthansa Airline so far. List of items and other necessary details have already been submitted in online form on Lufthansa web portal for claim. I have not received any reply from Lufthansa so far.

                          Therefore it is my humble request that either I may be provided my lost baggage or I may be provided compensation amounting to Euro 1500/-. List of items and other necessary details have already been provided online earlier for needful please.

                            I tried to pay online for excess baggage in Booking.com (lufthansa airlines). The payment failed, but the money was debited. Inspite of contacting customer service several times, the money has not been refunded yet. It has been over a month since I initially contacted the company. They always say that the money will be refunded in a few days, but the money was not refunded.

                              I am trying to select or upgrade seats on an Athens to Houston flight this coming November. The Lufthansa website shows my booking, but will not let me select seats. I called the 800 customer service number and was advised that I could not select seats until 23 hours before the flight leaves. I have never had this issue in the past and find this hard to believe.

                              I tried the Lufthansa chat feature and it kept referring me back to the phone number that I'd already called.

                              I called the Lufthansa[protected] number. The automated voice stated that I could not talk to a human and that they would try to get back to me within 30 days.

                              It is like no one at Lufthansa cares or wants to help. How can I speak to someone with the knowledge and authority to help me? Thank you.

                                  Hi we were 4 pax flying on[protected] from Mumbai-Frankfurt-cancun and return on[protected] cancun-Frankfurt-Mumbai we were suppose attend family wedding and 4 days holiday we all had all the valid documents passport, schenzhen visa, hotel transfer, hotel booking and 1 pax even had Mexico visa despite having all this documents the checkin counter and manager due to there lack of knowledge they didn’t let us board and hold our passport for 3 hrs and they threatened us we cannot travel through any other airline despite we requesting them that we can change our itenary but they were very rude and they even didn’t suggest any alternative solution due to which my whole family was mentally harassed and my kids were in trauma as they never faced this kind of treatment on any airport I would like to claim Rs1500000/- for the looses which has occurred due to lack of airport staff knowledge I had loss all my booking money for hotel, transfer, air ticket .
                                  For luftansa knowledge I have flown through Turkish airline on[protected] from Mumbai-Istanbul-cancun and[protected] cancun-Istanbul-Mumbai on the same schenzhen visa and I didn’t had any problem in travelling.

                                  Than why did luftansa had issue when we had valid schenzhen visa
