Ibibo Group / Goibibo — The Fern Residency Udaipur stay complaint

Overall very bad experience. I booked club room for 4 days from 31st Aug to 4th September. After checkin, there was bad smell in bathroom. I tried to stay there and called for room freshner. But within half hr, condition became same. I request to change the room. After half an hour, they shifted in other room. That room was also problematic. After some time, I got to know that refrigerator and one AC were not working. In the morning at the time of bath, I found that shower was also not working. One service man came and try to resolve the issue but I again request to change the room. after some time, they asked to change the room. Before changing the room, I checked and found that they were allocating small room. I became angry and request to change the room according to my booking.After long time wait, they alot a good room which was actually club room.

In the club room, generally fruits are also provided but in room there was no fruits. I asked about it and they replied that they are not providing due to COVID which was not a genuine reason.

Food quality was also bad. Breakfast service was very pathetic. No manager came for any feedback. On third day, one manager came as about experience. Then I explained all these things.

Overall I am not happy and very bad experience.Staaf is not good in dining. In future I will not prefer to stay there.

I posted my comments on goibibo portal which was already published. I was expecting a call from goibibo team to know about my concern. But nobody call me.

I was trying to connect with customer care to explain all these things. I connected on 6th sep 2021 evening and one executive reacted very rudely. He said that for any problem call on same time and cut my call when I was explaining my problem. Many times customer care call does connect.

Very bad experience with Fern and goibibo. I wasted my money.

I want return my money. I faced lot of issues in this stay. I couldn't connect in my official meeting due to this room problems.

Kindly refund my trip amount and take the necessary action against your caller executive and hotel staff.

Dear team,

I did not get any update about my complaint. I received one call from Goibibo, Mr Rahul Khanna told that Goibibo wants to refund the money. He provided some steps to redeem the voucher which was provided by him. When I tried to redeem those coupons then I realised that this is fraud call.

When I explained the steps to him then he told that to redeem the voucher 20000 amount is mandatory to maintain in the account. He guided me second step through Google pay where he suggested to add his account details which was illogical.

If goibibo wants to refund the amount they can refund the amount in same source which is used at the time of payment.

Kindly take the necessary action.
