[Resolved] Ibibo Group / Goibibo — Unfair service | |||
I am Ankita Bengani. I had booked my tickets from goibibo on 29th September 2016 from Bangalore to Kolkata on 26th January 2017. On 13 January 2017 I received a mail from indigo reminding me of my flight and not to miss it. Suddenly I receive a mail from goibibo on 19th January 2017 telling that my tickets has been cancelled. I called indigo and talked to Debosmita and Deepshika asking how can it be because I have not cancelled it. They just shut me down saying that ma'am we have not cancelled your ticket, it's done from the website so we cannot help you with this and asked me to book the tickets again. They also said that would generate full refund. After that I called goibibo to check why they cancelled it. I talked to Suraj, and Javed regarding my issue, they said they would help but at the end I got a mail from them stating that as per your request, the tickets have been cancelled and refund has been initiated. Whereas I clearly told the executives that I do not want refund. I just want my tickets back. As I had booked my tickets in September 2016, so clearly I had no plans of changing or cancelling it. Today morning when I called goibibo again, I talked to Taalib and he told me to wait for another 24 to 48 hrs. But he told me it's done from the user side only. I said only few days are left to go and I have not cancelled my flight so how can you let anyone cancel anyone's tickets just like that. At least you should confirm it from the registered mobile number or email address. I told them I don't want your refund, I just want my tickets back because it's really urgent for me to go. They also told me it has been cancelled from an IP address which belongs to Solan, himachal pradesh. So, may be the office branch in HP would hav done this and now they are blaming me that the user has done this. Today morning (20.01.2017) I received a mail from goibibo telling "as per your request your tickets have been cancelled and refund will be initiated". This is really pathetic and unjust. The system and management of both indigo and goibibo is also pathetic as there is no privacy . Just about anyone can manage your booking. It's ridiculous. Was this information helpful? | |||
