THE DIRECTOR
ICFAI UNIVERSITY,

Sir,
Sub : MBA ENROLLEMENT NUMBER MBA2036965 DATED 24/12/2004.
I had enrolled for MBA programme on 24/12/2005 and my application no is 504DMBA-10532. This is a two year course and is extendable upto 4 years.
I have availed the installment facility for payment of fees. Accordingly, I had made a down payment of RS.10000/- BY STATE BANK OF INDIA CREDIT CARD ON 24/12/04. I had also issued 12 post dated cheques of STATE BANK OF MYSORE of RS.3575/- each. The first installment was on February 2005 which was paid vide cheque no.511057 dated 1/2/05.
The details of the cheque issued till now are as follows :
CHEQUE NOS CHEQUE DATE AMOUNT
511507 1/2/2005 3575
511508 1/3/2005 3575

As of now, post dated cheques till September 2005 have been encashed and hence the total amount paid is 10000+28600+38600. Balance of 14300 is to be paid in another 4 months.
I would like to inform you that my father is not keeping well and is suffering from Parkinsons disease. Also, I have other responsibilities to shoulder. Hence, I am not in a position to concentrate on my studies and would like to withdraw from the course.
I have send repeated emails to Mr. Rajagopal Rao, Dean (Students Service Department) requesting him to grant me an permission to withdraw from the course but I have not received any positive response from his side.
I shall be grateful if you could consider my case and oblige and refund me back the amount which has already being paid by me, and also the amount which is due could be waived out and grant me permission to withdraw from the course . Total course fees works out to 52900/- Sir this is a big sum for me as I am an salaried person. Please consider my case and oblige.
Thanking you
Yours faithfully,
Anita Dadlani

Complaint marked as Resolved
Please do not generalise by stating that all ICFAI students are ashamed. I know of many ICFAI graduates who are doing very well. You may be ashamed as you are not successful. Had you studied during the course, you would not have been ashamed today. Its like trying to put the responsibility on the Institution because you are a failure.
You seem to be a student ofd 2007 batch. Then you would have completed the course by April 2009, unless you are repeatedly failing. That may be why you are ashamed. Why instead of checking with the right people 1 year back, you are trying to use this forum to complain asking for a transfer certificate ?
First be clear in your mind that you have wasted your time and parent's money by not puting the right efforts during the course. That seems to be appropriate by looking at your English. Now also instead of trying to get into some good company (offcourse if you have qualified in the exams) you are trying to blame the Institution. Try to bring positivity in your attitude and behave like a MBA and not like a school kid

I am really happy to see your comments. I wish people like the above Deepasa should realise that they are harming themselves by complaining and being negative. Hope the currrent generation develop positive attitude and incorporate high level of dedication and hard work in their studies instead of trying out the short cut
