ICICI Bank — Name still in CIBIL report

    Dear sir/madam

    i have issued a ticket of spicejet limited from
    kathmandu to delhi on september 11 via my icici bank account worth
    Rs.7200 and the same amount was debited from my account,
    but agin on september 20 , the
    amount was of 7142.40 was again debited from my account (transaction
    detail : --IPS TX DT[protected] SPICE JET LIMITED ), AND MY ACCOUNT
    HAS GONE IN NEGATIVE BALANCE ,


    i call and
    mail the icici bank for what purpose they have debited my account
    7142.40 , they first ask me 14 days time ,
    but after 14 days they send us mail that they agin need 35 days time.
    i am
    threaten that they will do nothing only ask for further times.
    so i have finally decided to take help with
    you. so you pls help me for that and ask the icici bak for what
    purpose they have done that and when my matter will be solved. looking
    for your best support

      I am having Savings account with ICICI bank. I forgot my password and to reset it I had the worst experience with ICICI bank as following.
      => 15/10 - Requested to register my mobile ([protected]) for mobile banking because I wanted to reset my internet banking password (login + transaction)... customer care promised me 4 working days.
      => 20/10 - Called to confirm and found that it was not done yet. Asked me wait for 24 hours.
      => 21/10 - Called to confirm and found that it was also not done on that day... Asked me to wait for 1 hour.
      => 22/10 - After 3 hours, it was done. When I tried to change password online, system showed me that I can't do that.
      => 21/10 - Called customer care, person told me that I can not change password on same day when mobile is registered.
      => 21/10 - Person told me that he will send physical copy of both password at my address and it will reach in 3 working days as it would be on priority.
      => 26/10 - I didn't receive any post and called again customer care service, and he asked me to wait for 2 working days... You also asked me to wait for 2 days.
      => Meanwhile, one of your executive called on my mobile number and told that account is debit freezed for security reason.
      => 28/10 - Post received. I was informed that Photo ID should be presented while collecting that post. But courier person didn't ask anything for photo ID. My aunt had collected and told that person that I am her nephew. He wrote in his note that "Devendra" has collected post.
      => 28/10 - Logged in online banking. Changed my login password successfully. I tried 3 times to change my transaction password but failed because account as debit freezed. So transaction password disabled. Called customer care but person asked me to contact branch.
      => 29/10 - Called operational department[protected] to check status..he gave me 2 phone number of my branch but neither worked. both were invalid. So again I called him and he asked me to call customer care.
      => 29/10 - Called customer care and person has asked me to wait for 24 hours.
      => Got mail that new password will be delivered by courier.
      So finally I reset my password after 21 days of struggle. Now when I asked for compansation just because of calls which I made because ICICI bank failed in its commitment, executive said that ICICI bank has nothing to do that.
      Person called Ashok Reddy wrote that "However, the passwords has reached your communication address on October 28, 2010" on 2nd November. When I replied that I was expecting password on 26th as per commitment given by ICICI then he wrote "However, the passwords has reached your communication address on October 26, 2010".

      In short, informing other people that if you want to go through this kind of situation then only open an account with ICICI bank.

      ICICI Bank — Password delivery failure

      I submitted for a password reset first time in the month of November. However I never received it for more than two weeks and when contacted, they said it would have been destroyed. Later I raised another request this time through one of their branches. I verified with the bank staff about my address and only then did I give the request. I got an SMS saying that I would receive it in another 7 days. I did not receive and the courier person said that the bank did had provided INSUFFICIENT address and that it got returned to origin. When I contact the bank they are asking me to visit a branch and get it delivered to that bank and again make a visit to the bank to collect. To collect a password should I be wasting so much of my time?

      I've not received my id and password after complained to customar care. Before 17 days still waiting for your reply also. Please reply me on my mobile number [protected].
      same happening with me in case of transaction password recovery. called them many times costed me so much becoz those F_ckers make money by holding u for so long... SO after those calls next day i tried and they said servers is down.. so upgrade the damn PII systems..sick...

      Their customer service takes so so long time though u can press button and avoid listening to crap but 1st time user will get f-cked up with all that ...

      Final word for every single user ICICI bank sucks ...in case of services and recovery..
      also their login pages expires in every damn 2 mins...
      I havent got password yet, its been several months now.
      i got it in 20 min

        We are having our current account (normal) with ICICI Bank Ltd. since 2-3 yrs. we have been facing a peculiar problem of hefty monthly charges being charged by bank at an astronomical rates which even a polite customer will never ever dare to ask. If some customers like us dares to ask the reason behind these unrelevent charges or they charge for no service being rendered by them- like sms, physical statement charges. If we go by an average of these charges being levied to each customers it amount to the amount in which you can purchase 100 Mercedes cars. Let the jokes be apart, We fail to understand what the regulatory body of RBI is doing to control all these so called charges being levied from the customers at the rates which may be fancies of the banks. It will be a great idea to assemble such victims at one platform to address this grievance. May god give us the guts to face these illogical and illegal ways of these beggars type of Bank. It will be more better to open an account with other banks but not with ICICI Bank in any way.

          Hello

          I took a home loan in May 2005. The topup request was put forth by myself on October 2008 and the same got disbursed. Thanks to ICICI loan for being flexible at that time who came forward to offer the loan based on my credibility.

          However the EMI which they agreed on the document was just around ten thousand four rupees ( approximately ) for a loan of 12,00,000 rupees along with a 33,000 rupees insurance to protect the same. However the first month EMI was about eighteen thousand rupees (18,762) which is about eight thousand higher than what they said. I was told the interest rate was wrongly calculated on the letter given to me but they did not apologize.

          When the interest rates were reduced they brought down the EMI to as less as 17,407. Fair enough. Now when the interest rates increased marginally they have increased the tenure of the loan period from the old 15 year period ( 180 months ) to 197 months without my consent and it may be under banking guidelines as per terms and conditions. But they have stopped taking request on phone and wanted me to come in person along with 3 months payslip for a mere 500 rupees raise. This, in my opinion is only to make money as for a job profile like I have it becomes difficult to go to the bank and write a new application for change of tenure. My credit payment history has been very clean and my salary is good enough which has been proved by the bank as they disbursed the loan for 18,762 EMI. Now for a 500 rupees increase they ask me to prove the credibility again which is absolutely not agreeable and looks to have been a plan only to take advantage of situations of people who have taken loan like me. I am sure there would be only about 10% of the customers would go to a branch and the bank enjoys this as additional revenue.

          I need the bank to reduce the loan tenure and increase loan amount marginally for the current interest rate. They should be able to take requests on phone and email ( payslips ). If they cant do it, they should atleast do so till the amount reaches to the initial disbursed value.

          Its so agonizing and stress for a salaried individual like me. I did discuss this with a lot of my friends, family members & colleagues and all feel the same about banks.... especially ICICI Loan products.

          Please prioritize my request and I can submit all documents required if necessary. I can give my credit history & repayment schedules to prove my point here and I have been paying quite a lot of EMIs. Some of them are

          Deutche Bank Home Loan EMI : 36891 ( New Loan disbursed in September 2010 )
          ICICI Home Loan : EMI 16285 -- Have been paying since MAY 2005
          ICICI Car Loan - EMI 8387 - Have been paying since JANUARY 2007
          Deutche Bank Personal Loan : Have paid without any defaults and preclosed during September 2010

          Once the issue was sorted out by reducing the interest rate to 12.5 in Decemberafter I was asked to pay about 0.5 of the outstanding principal. The interest rate is increased to 13% in January, 13.25 in February & 13.75% in March. Why is this done & do you think this, if done in meager percentage wont be noticeable?

          Looks like I need to start this again. I am seriously not interested in running around and paying 0.5% or have energy to fight it out. Looks like I need legal help.

            saving Salary A/c — Salary A/c Blocked

            Hi Sir / Madam,

            I have an salary A/c in HDFC Bank Jaya Nagar branch with Custoer ID as 32808231, Bangalore. That a/c is blocked because I resigned from that company, so HR has send a letter to the branch to block it. I want to close the A/c & get the money blocked back. I contacted branch they said it can't be unblocked without HR letter. Then I contacted Customer care, they said you can close it & get the money back. Again I contacted the branch, again they said the same thing, but when I asked them that I confired it from their Head Office, then they are saying that they don't know what to do, because they are dealing with this sort of thing first time. So, they need a day time to get it confirmed. But still they are not confirmed about that. daily they are asking for 1 more day to get it confirmed. Please look into the matter.

            ICICI Bank is worst at leaste they could waive some amount for non maintenance of minimum balance amount.. once fo all dey deducted Rs 1800 for many months.. this is worse, , they should know d money value of a poor people... tell me d procedure to convert it as salary account..

              ICICI Tax Saving bonds -012005 — Non Receipt of Maturity Money

              My Tax Saving Bonds ( 6 no's of Rs 5000/- each ) matured on 11.3.2010. Dist no's[protected] Certificate No: 23609 .Till date I have not heard from the company regarding refund though my bank account no. is written on certificate.

                  Fraud ICICI Credit card transaction happened on 7th oct without my confirmation .
                  Dear Management,

                  Myself is K.T.JOSEPH ([protected]) , is the regular ICICI card holder since very long and my ICICI visa card of
                  number [protected] , got a call on 7th morning that i have done on line flight booking transaction of
                  worth 6k on 7th october in my mobile by icici bank customer care ,than i decline the same and inform them
                  to immediately stop my credit card service .
                  I also got the confirmation of old card blocked service and also got new credit card..
                  Than again i got a call from customer care that i have completed the transaction of worth 35 k from ON LINE
                  FROM my credit card on 10th oct , than also I refused him and informed him that I have alreday blocked my
                  card .
                  When i recieved my bank statement yesterday(28th oct) ... I was fully shocked and surprized to see that
                  there was fraud transaction been completed without my knowledge and my information on 7th oct
                  Total 6 fraud transaction were made on that same day 7th oct and total worth value of approx 40k.
                  The biggest transaction had been credited to IBIBO WEB PVT LTD Gurgaon office of worth amount 35 k,
                  today i went to IBIBO Corporate office at sec 54 gorgaon, and from there I cane to know that three person by
                  the following names had done this on line flight booking on 7th and booked the flight with my home address
                  and used faked user name , e-mail i.d and fake mobile number to book that transaction.
                  name of the person appear in the IBIBO flight booking are;
                  Mr Izharulhaq ansari
                  Mrs shaeen ansari
                  Miss shabnam ansari
                  and the contact detail mentioned in that booking are -[protected] ( this number is not working at present)

                  no landline detail given in the booking.

                  I am very depressed and request you to kindly cooperate with me and get this amount completely reimbursed and also wants to file an F.I.R against the culprits through filing case in consumer protection cell/Court.

WHY SHOULD 1 PAY FOR THE TRANSACTION WHIHC IS NOT BEEN MADE BY ME .....BY SOMEONE ELSE USING FRAUD CYBER CRIME IS VERY SERIOUS MATTER AND ALSO THE CUSTOMER CARE IS SAYING THAT THEY CANNOT PROCEED THE COMPLAINT SINCE ITS BEEN DONE BY ON LINE .........                     Never -Never take home loan from ICICI....the are University of Harassment...In one of the incident's during the last emi of my home loan...I have been harassed to the extent that even after sending legal notices and taking matter to legal stage they do not care of your credibility and go to the all possible strategy of harassing...call again and again...                       This is to bring to your kind notice (LPDEL[protected]) that I was promised to be given a waiver on all the accrued dues and charges via a letter (ENCLOSED) by Shahnawaz Faheem (the credit officer at ICICI) on May 22, 2010. I paid the complete outstanding as was on date on May 28, 2010 which included the 9 pending instalments on this account. Furthermore, this amount is still showing up on the account with interest accruals and has not been taken off.

                      To my dissappointment and utter surprise, the dues are still being shown on CIBIL which is not the case as I have been regularly paying for this account and there is only 0 due and the loan has closed in the month of October 2010.

                      I APPEAL you to please take this amount off from CIBIL and consider the waiver which was promised to me. (copy of it is enclosed for your reference.

                      Despite of sending repeated reminders and emails to ICICI, no action has been taken in this regard and I was told that they will get back to me in 4 days on 22nd October but still No JOY. This is a sheer harrasment for the customer and is not acceptible at all


                      An early response in this direction would be highly appreciated.

                            I just shifted to Pune from Nagpur.
                            On Sep 14 I tried to withdraw 6000/- from HDFC ATM Baner,Pune as ICICI ATM of that area was out of order at that time.
                            To My surprise i got only 4200/- that is 1800 Less. and 6000/ is dedcuted from my ICICI Acount.
                            Details of Notes(Currency) i got was in below order.

                            100 X 2
                            That clearly indicate it was not fault of machine but fault of Man as ATM in-charge had put 100/ note in-between 1000/ notes. I immediately raised this complain with HDFC first with the ATM Guard Register also called HDFC person.
                            But as I was ICICI customer i had to raise the complaint with them.I raised the complaint with them but all in vain after regular followup too nothing happen. According to them according to HDFC Official I got all 6000/- My Complain no with ICICI is[protected].

                            Please suggest me now what should i do?
                            As ICICI is no more entertaining me and i cant complain with HDFC as i am not their Customer.

                              This is regarding my home loan from icici bank ltd account no LBNOD[protected] which i have closed last year by two cheques one of 4950000/- and another of 22000/- approx but by mistake my cheque of 22000/- got bounced which was informed to me by icici after 3 months when i visited icici for my property papers,then i have requested them to take bounce charges and delay payment interest for this period but icici executive in sector 50 noida branch i.e. samta told me that you have to pay interest on whole outstanding amount and told me that your 4950000/- credited in miscellenous account.if my amount is deposited in icici then how icici can ask for interest on that amount.

                                I had purchased "Kotak Global Emerging Market Fund (closed)" in Sept 2007. The scheme became open ended on September 27, 2010 as per Kotak AMC website and their e-mail. However the ICICIdirect site still showing the scheme as "closed ended". I contacted them and provided them all info including the e-mail from Kotak and their scheme details sheet that is posted online on Kotak site. However, ICICI direct has not taken any action.

                                I spoke to a person by one Mr. Yatin (ICICI support), who told me to write to [protected]@icicidirect.com . On 16th Oct 2010, one Mr. Bhosle called me and told me to get said MF details at AMFI site updated by contacting Kotak registrar! Later I called ICICI again and spoke to a person from their call centre Mr. Hardik , who in the middle of our conversation told me hold me as he has another call. He did not mute the MIC. I could clearly hear him joking and chatting with some lady. After few minutes, he came back. On questioning his rational of keeping me waiting on an international call, he started giving excuses, and later hanged the phone. Long live ICICI (direct and bank!)
                                As per them the AMFI site is still showing the fund as closed ended. Hence I cannot sell. I asked them why the investor is held hostage for some update on a website for which he is neither responsible nor concerned. They are mum on this. The matter was reported on 12th Oct 2010 to ICICI. Even a complaint is lodged with SEBI on 19th Oct 2010. No progress. In an online world, if you stop a investor from buying / selling, can’t figure out what ICICI is up to?

                                    this is sujith.. i have a saving account with icici as rao nagar branch hyderabad.[protected]. i requested for its closure as i am not operating the account. since i have a demat and trading account related to it they asked me to go to icici directt branch to close it.. i visited icici direct branch and they denied saying we dont close accounts . u need to visit icici brach at navketan building near clock tower secunderabad. i visited them and applied for closure of direct account and they replied saying u need to go to ashok nagar branch to close it.. i dont understand when i open an account in a base branch .. y i cannot close it in the same branch.. i have been roaming only for this reason ffrom quite a long time now..and till now not even a single account of mine is closed. after a week they will charge QAB from me again.

                                    i want someone from icici to actually take this seriosuly and resolve my issue to the earliest possible.

                                      My Name is Parag haresh Shah, i was holding your credit card, the no. being - [protected] .This credit card has been discontinued by you without my knowledge after paying the last dues amounting to Rs.1292, Bill dated july 29, 2007. This bill has been paid by cheque from Punjab and Maharashtra co-operative Bank, cheque no. being 936768.
                                      This is is to inform you that inspite of discontinuing the card from your end i am still receiving innumerable bills and statements from your end and also letters for non-payment of dues of dates after discontiuing the card. One of the letters is dated April 8, 2008 Ref no.:cc/28-03/37876 which is asking me to pay an amount of 60,876.76/-.I would like to bring to your kind notice that there has been a mix up from your end as you have given the same card no. to another Parag R Shah and his address being: A 203 Vizapur Nagar, Damodar Wadi, Ashok Chawl, Kandivali (east), mumbai-400101, his contact no.: [protected] & 28847034. The opposite party is also aware of this mess up by you. when i had spoken in customer care regarding the dispatch of credit card i was been told that the card was dispatch on 24/07/ 2007 on the kandivali address. as per the cibil report i had opened the new credit card a/c no [protected] on 24/06/2007 but my credit card first statement was received on 02/08/2003 . i also request you to kindly check my credit card statements from 02/08/2003 to 29/07/2007. for the credit history. It clearly seems that you have not done your job by changing necessary details due to which it has caused great inconvenience to me since the past year, nor have you'll bothered to acknowledge my calls given to your horrible customer care service. Here i am also giving you details of my calls made to you, one made on 5/3/08 at 4.51pm and 30/3/08 at 4.30pm. These are just details of the few calls i have made to you'll but yet after three year no action has been taken. as i am receiving calls from recovery agent for the balance amt due. i have also received letter for the card no [protected] & [protected] which are not even mine. If no correction is made immediately from your end then this e-mail to you and all the details of your mess up will also be revealed and printed to the newspapers as well. i have sue you in the consumer court complaint no 612/of 2009. Please do not ask me to patient anymore, just make necessary changes immediately. copies of all the document had been sent to mr aashish aggarwal your advocate, rl id 6579 icicibank andheri rl id 6580 by speed post on 12/06/2009 to meenakshi icicibank banda kurla complex rlc 7316 on 19/10/2010.but i havent received any reply till now from your end.

                                      Dear Madam I am holding a Credit Card NO [protected] which is expiring in Dec 2012. As per bank procedure I received a new Credit withe Validity period of 12/04 to 12/16 but surprise to see theat Instead my photograph and signature, some one else photo graph and signature was embossed on my credit Card No.

                                      I approached ICICI Bank Arlem Branch in Goa and explained the facts to Branch Manager Ms Saipriti Shirodkar on 7th of Dec 2012. She immediately called the customer care service for help after almost for 1 hour Ms Jalaja supervisor promised to give me call back on 11the Dec 2012 and did not give complaint NO, but Till Date Nobody contacted me.

                                      While discussing thee matter Supervisor advised me use thee card withe wrong photo and signature after my deliberation she said she needs to check why in first place the card was issued with photograph and signature ( I am using thee card withe my photo and signature since 2004).

                                      Branch Manager has sent the scanned copy of Old and new Credit card to make them understand the point.

                                      Incidentally RBI in last week has directed even ATM card to have photographs to prevent any misuse and here is ICICI Bank Supervisor is questioning why the Photograph was placed on the credit Card.
                                      I Hope some body will revert back with solution.

                                        I ,'Smt. Vasudha Waman Datar',had a fixed deposit with the Sangli Bank (Now merged with ICICI bank,Lakshmipuri Branch,Kolhapur)which had got matured in year 2000.In year 2008,I had submitted the certificate to issue the corresponding cash,but now the staff was refusing to give back the same.I have the receipt which tells about the submission of the certificate.
