Rejection Claim No.[protected] Sub : Wrong information provided by ICICI Lombard executive pertaining to claim intimation no.[protected] Dear Sir/ Madam, With reference to the claim intimation number [protected], I have been following up since[protected], however I have not received a proper response. My wife has delivered a baby on the 8th March 2015. However the baby was born prematurely and had to be admitted to NICU (Surya Hospital). I had called up ICICI Lombard on 8th March 2015 and was told by the executive that my baby would be covered for a period of 30 days upto sum assured of INR 5 lakhs. On 9th of March 2015, I again called another executive to confirm these details and got the same reply. After getting confirmation from 2 different executives I got my baby admitted to one of the best hospitals in Mumbai. Now the baby is in the hospital and would be discharged on the 11th March 2015 with approximate bill amounting to INR 3.5 Lakhs. When I submitted the claims, my claim has been rejected for reasons affiliated to maternity. I have spoken to your escalation team members, a few to name would be Mr. Yogesh, Mr. Vishal and their manager Mr. Jitendra. I have requested for the recording of my call on the 8th and 9th of March 2015, which till date I have not received.
