[Resolved] ICICI Lombard — Issue with ICICI Lombard in Claim Settlement - Claim No-SCM[protected]
I am not satisfied with the process of claim settlement in ICICI Lombard. My Claim intimation date is 12/Sep/2020 but still we have received multiple queries. I have already approach many times icici lombard Grievance, but no response.

Mail received on 14-Sep-2020 - Stated like need to submit "Diagnostic/ Lab report confirming COVID-19 diagnosis". I submitted on the same day
Mail received on 01-Oct -2020 Stated - "provide the covid 19 positive confirmation ICMR referral form with seal and signature of the Lab". I submitted on same day
Mail received on 10-Oct-2020 Stated - "Please Provide RT-PCR test report" -
I don't know Why are they are asking Covid Positive confirmation report with different names/actions. they are bluffing for claim settlement.
I don't know what the RT-PCR test is. I had symptoms and I tested in Primary Health center bangarupeta, venkatagiri Mandal, Nellore-524132 on 10/Sep/2020. I got a positive confirming report from AP Govt health dept(Sample Id - 8631129 you can enquire ICMR or through hospital) and we don't have any other report to give. I am really not satisfied with the claim settlement process because I submitted all required documents on time.
They are finding various excuses to reject Covid claims
it is more than one month since I submitted my claim and there is no update as yet.
Their service quality stands to be questioned.
They do not provide timely updates. one needs to follow-up regularly.
The size of a company does not necessarily matter. It is the values
integrity, honesty and transparency that matter.
I sometimes wonder whether it is worth buying an insurance policy if you have to literally chase the company for geting your money reimburse.
