I took the subject policy from ICICI Pru life during march, 2022 and later decided to cancel it. I have requested for payout on 3rd April, 2022. And it was received only on 27th May, 2022
They were in between repeatedly asking thro email for my bank statement. I have provided the statement minimum 6 times. Upon referring numerous correspondences(minimum 15 emails) and telephone calls( 2 international calls), several whatsapp messages . last few times, they were asking me to confirm my account is NRE . It was clearly written in my statement, which i expained 3 times. Please note that that there was no delay / flaws from my end for providing information or documents required. It was also irritating as well as creating mental agony to me throughout this period . Think they were deliberately asking many times the same query to delay the payout.
I strongly feel that it is my right to ask atleast the bank interest to cover up my agony during this period . However they rejected my request without providing any reason
Since, the entire delay is Attributed to ICICI pruflife, you are requested to contact ICICI and compensate the delay in form of bank interest .
