Hi,

My name is aayush dubey. I was using idea broadband connection (Prepaid) and the account no. Was[protected]. I was using it from 28th may 2016 till december 2016. Initially the speed was good but soon after i started facing serious problems with the connection. I called idea customer care so many times to resolve the issue but many times they closed my tickets without resolving the issue. This was happening every week and i realized that i am wasting my money for which i was not getting any service. I was frustrated and asked customer care to disconnect connection immediately. I also got an email confirmation on 31st december 2016 that my connection has been terminated but these guys sent me bill for january 2017.
Since last one year they are harassing me to pay the bill, i sent them mails and provided all the information with screen shot that my account was terminated on 31st december 2016 then how can you ask me to pay for january 2017 bill. I didn't get any response and they sending me lok nyaylay intimation (Case no.:- lok-b/feb18/6355) every week. This is total fraud by such a big company. Never expected. Its really frustrating and i am being harassed like anything.
I would like consumer forum to look on this and take legal action for bad service and providing me wrong detail. I have also attached the email screenshots i received from idea.

    मेरे नम्बर पर मेरी जानकारी के बिना कंपनी की तरफ से music box activate कर दिया गया और मेरे एकाउंट से 15 ₹ काट लिए गए।जब मैंने कस्टमर केयर से बात की तो उन्होंने कहा कि आप 4 घंटे बाद काल करो फिर मैं पैसे refund करूँगा। आप खुद सोचिये की अभी शाम के 8 बजे हैं और 4 घंटे बाद यानि रात के 12 बजे मैं सिर्फ इसलिए जगा रहूं कि मुझे कंपनी से 15 ₹ रिफंड लेने हैं। अब आप ही बताइए कि इसमें मेरी क्या गलती है? कंपनी की गलती के लिए मै क्यों परेशान होऊं? ऐसा पहली नहीं हो रहा है आज से पहले भी ऐसा कई बार हो चुका है । मै जब भी कस्टमर केयर से बात करता हूँ तो वे कहते हैं कि अभी आपको रिफंड नहीं मिल सकता क्योंकि अभी सिस्टम ख़राब है। अब आप ही बताइए कि सिस्टम खराब होना क्या मेरी प्रॉब्लम है? और हर बार यही हुआ है कि सिस्टम 24 बाद ही ठीक हुआ है और कंपनी मेरे पैसे गोल कर देती है। आप नीचे पढ़ लीजिये की मुझे क्या मैसेज आया था।

        I requested for porting my number [protected] from airtel to idea. I was told that after 7 days my airtel sim will be deactivated at 10.30 pm and idea sim will get activated in 30 mins. Now as my airtel i'd already deactivated yesterday night but my idea no is not getting activated. Customer service is saying that it will get activated in 3 days. What a nonsense, as i am in roaming without mobile. It's totally misselling. Either activate my no on priority or i have to complain in trai

          idea sim not working in uae (abu dhabi)

          Dear my idea sim is not working in uae.
          My number is 0091 [protected].

          Please help.

          It is not connecting to any other networks in uae.
          Network name showing as "emergency"
          I called to idea customer care from uae in ([protected]) the call was not connecting. Tried it 5-6 times.
          Tried to manually also but not connecting....

          I have a complaint regarding deduction on account VAS by idea cellular. An amount of rs 5 deducted each day from my account for fashinz service which i was never subscribed. when i call idea customer care they did not have any knowledge of how it was activated and when. their response was unsatisfactory. not ready to refund money. pls guide.

            I raise request for port from idea to airtel and i have paid full last month bill with advance 100 rs for 1 week (For port duration usage) as idea person said. Network successfully ported from idea to airtel. After few days i get calls from idea and they said you have 1200rs unpaid bill and you have used 900rs datapack and 300 for calling. After so many calls ideas customer executive said we have generated wrong bill please pay only 200rs and the bill will be cleared. I paid 200rs for my idea number using the attached account number and the account number is given by [protected]@gmail.com email id. I got message for the 200rs bill and i thought this is last time i am facing idea people. But after 1 month again my relatives got calls and asking by name saying that bill is reaming of 1000rs and we have legal notice and need to go to delhi court every week or some day.

            No one is directly contact me and calling again n again to my relatives.

            As per the conversation with your customer care person i already paid the amount to settled the Bill and what data usage are you talking i never used full 2GB data check my last bill and suddenly i have used more than 2GB data because i raised port request ha ha.I have mention the email id in the previous post that guy told me to pay now its your company fault.

              Activated the callertune on 21/01/2018 charged 39rs still now it was not activated.
              Raised the complaint 2 times on telephone they closed the complaint but no solution given.
              Mailed them for 5 times.
              Today called to customercare one person akbar told that i am giving trai contact no [protected] and raise your complaint there. Called to that number ni one iu pung up.

                From last 3 billing cycle idea is charging rs.99 for downloading cinemasti from indiagame where form mobile i am not downloading such games or any application.. Each time i called to custmer care and the representative give very stupid answer that u might be download by mistake.. But this completly false. Idea is charging unwanted charges where customer is not downloading at all..1 feb 2018 again the msg come in my inbox from iz-ideacms n saying "dear custmer, thank yu for downloading cinemasti_vd from indiagames. You have been charged rs.99"
                Please stop making fool to people for giving extra charges who the consumer not using.. Kindly resolve dis solution as soon as possible.

                Same case is with me also..I am not downloading any games but every month I am being charged Rs. 99 in my Idea postpaid bill..I have sent written complaint to Idea customer care but they are not ready to deduct this amount from my bill..now I am thinking to change my mobile company..

                  This is to report an urgent case of fraud transaction done multiple times from debit and credit card on 02/02/2018 around 11.30 am.

                  There are four transactions done for amount 4996/- each on debit card and three transactions done for amount 4996/- each in my credit card.

                  Kindly do not go ahead with any transaction. Please stop all the transaction.

                  I have also filed an fir with bangalore cyber crime police station. Fir no.0294/2018 is registered in cyber crime police station. Your gsc no. Is po[protected] courtesy:police computer wing.

                  The reference no for transaction done on my debit card is as follows:

                  I give my consent to reverse the above transaction if possible. The above is a fraudulent transaction.

                  I am unable to track on credit card transaction on the statement. But please hold all the unsettled amount.

                  I hope the bank helps me to recover the lost amount.

                    Sir/ma'am,

                    I'm an idea user with the number "[protected]". I've converted my idea post paid to prepaid on january 1st week 2018. As per the message received from idea, i've paid the last outstanding amount of rs. 108 on january 25th using their ivr options. Now, i received an email to pay a bill of rs 115.93/- on february 1st.

                    Idea customer care is unable to check the status since i'm converted to prepaid. They have given a number to call their postpaid support which can only be accessible if i call from a post paid number or bsnl landline. I don't have both the options. I can't check it from their website as i've converted to idea prepaid connection now.

Also, as per our record, the payment for the mentioned amount isn't credited in your account. However, if the issue persist you can provide us the screen shot of the payment done along with the complete tansaction details & bank statement from the day of the payment to till date.

                    Hello,

                    As per the screenshot, you can see that I've received a message to pay Rs. 108.35/-. I tried paying using using various methods and didn't succeed. Finally, I called 121 and paid using the amount using the IVR option available to pay bills. As per the screenshots you can see that the amount debited from my bank and the IVR option confirmed the payment as well. What else you want me to provide now? It was done through Idea Customer care (121) bill payment option itsel[censored] Kindly check with your internal team and update me.

                      I am Ashutosh Bose, number [protected], on 1st feb Idea automatically activated some CLIPKART services and deducted Rs150 from my balance. When I spoke to the customer care, they said service request has been raised and money would be reimbursed but today they said request has been cancelled and money would not be reimbursed. The service is pathetic and they are looting money. This is the second time money has been deducted because of VAS

                        I went to idea store located at ranni pathanamthitta district to take a duplicate sim card for my wife. I dont know for what reason, those people are not at all interested in providing me with that service. Simply telling with some lame excuses like machine complaints, you should go to other store, here u wont get sim card. There is no facility here.
                        It may be because these store does not get any benefit for duplicate sim.
                        It is beacuse of these type of services people migrate to other service providers. Idea look in to this matter seriously so that customers get good service

                          I think now a days idea broadband hiring goons in his office who don't have manner how to talk customer. I have already done 12 month payment still in my account showing 5 months payment. I tried to call 100 times to them explain everything. But everyday i receiving a call someone saying i am from idea broadband legal department.. I again explain same thing to them. But still now no result. Today they cross all the limit.

                          Today i got 1st call from no-[protected] she said her name was sonakshi singh and the language she used like "aap log bhikari ho aap payment nahi kar sakte" and i will show you who i am. Then after 2 min another guy called from no [protected] and threatening me in cheap language. That means now a days idea hiring goons in their department.???

                          I like to again explain here my payment - i took offer of 6 months payment +installation free+router free so took the connection last may 2016 as per offer it should continue till october last. Instead of that a bill generate october i paid that so i paid 7 months bill. After that i chased idea customer care to rectify my bill and which they did not. Again bikram arora called me (From this no [protected]) on 19 dec and told me sir there is a offer for you from idea pay 3 months bill and enjoy 2 months free plus i will resolve your previous complain. I paid on 20th dec 4600 as per 3 months advance payment and 2 last months bill.. For conformation i called him on his no on 27dec and he said request has been forwarded and will ok.                             I have recharged through internet for rs. 392/- by seeing the option for 70 days. This option is completely misleading/confusing and purely cheating offer. This offer was available when i recharged the through idea app. I called to idea customer care and requested to add the benefits they are now asking to provide the details of the offer which they have provided :). The attendant refused to change it. I contacted via mail as well as calling them.

Amount of 4996 has been deducted from by Debit card four times n credit card three times.                                   I am a idea customer last 4 years and idea company alloted my phone number to a different user on idea network. My phone number was linked with my bank account, aadhar, pan and i have been left handicapped without my number. I am student and i have submitted my number in examination forms. I have my whatsapp account on that number since 4 years. I have been left handicapped without my phone number as people related to me cannot reach me and even colleges, institutes, bank, cannot reach me or contact me. I want my phone number back as idea has no right to allot my phone number to a different user if the company has shut down. Please look into it

                                    I have been an idea cellular customer for 10 years now.

                                    In all these years, i have found idea to be the most expensive cellular network provider. However, i continued to use it due to better coverage network.

                                    Now, after having upgraded to 4g sim, all my troubles with them have begun.

                                    First, they will never tell you if certain recharge packs are active anymore or not. It is only after you recharge and call up customer care, that they tell you that this pack does not exist anymore. Moreover, they refuse to return your money.

                                    Second, there are multiple hidden offers which the customer is not aware of. It is only once you threaten to port your number to another network, that they tell you about their 'exciting offers'.

                                    Third and most troubling is that for the last two weeks, my data pack of 1gb per day is not being used by me, but has been siphoned off by the company.

                                    The data pack, magically starts at 12 a. M ever day and is apparently either used by 6 a. M or gets consumed if you check your whatsapp messages, surf the net for half an hour.
                                    Customer care will refuse to take your complain and tell you the same nonsense repeatedly about how data is consumed by which application.
                                    Do they not know how much 1gb of surfing is!! It can last upto 6-9 hours depending on the content of the page.

                                    Shockingly, even when i am sleeping between the hours of 10 p. M - 6 a. M, the data seems to be used.

                                    Everyone is aware of back door data entry. If idea is running out of data bandwidth, they need to buy some more and not loot their loyal customers. I am so disgusted by such unethical work practises that i have decided to switch to vodafone, irrespective of the exciting offers, that idea may again try to entice me with.
