Since 4-5 months now, i have been facing service interruption and even call dropping.
Below are some highlights:
1) many times my family and friends are not able to connect to my cell number even if my cell shows full range. Happens everyday. Happened yesterday as well 27th sept. Two people tried to call me intermittently for the whole day but i was not reachable.
2) even after showing 4g sign, internet is very slow and sometimes not even working.
3) 1.5 month before i. E.in august, 2017, i faced continuous call dropping without any reason for two days.

    Ported from airtel to idea - 10 days ago.
    Pathetic mobile connectivity.
    This has become a nightmare. Earlier airtel calls used to drop and clarity of speech was missing sometimes. But my phone was always accessible for my clients, friends.
    Idea situation:
    1) phone is always suggesting as switched off
    2) poor clarity in calls. Most of the information exchanged phone is not understand by either as voice...

    Since the day i activated this card. I have been calling support. Internet connectivity (3g) is useless. Many tickets have been raised and have been labelled solved without my consent. Zero level communication with customer. The representatives i spoke to, mostly had poor vocabulary in english and hindi. Rude and inappropriate use of language and don't care for if customers complaint. Even supervisors don't care for customers satisfaction. I m already in the process of deactivating this card. And will certainly make sure nobody in my circle goes through the same torment and waste of time with such low levelling call specialists.

      The experience with idea is getting worse day by day. "frequently changing of recharge plans" is the main problem.
      I recharged my mom's idea number with rs. 347 (Unlimited calling & 1gb/day internet) and then got to know that the plan has changed to 357 and i got a different plan which is of no use to me.
      This is not happening for the first time previously recharge of rs.399 had the same problem.
      Okay they changed the plan for reason i understand an i called the customer care and said please change my plan (I'll pay the extra amt), they were like, sir "hum kuch nhi kar sakte" (We can't do anything), the same answer every time anyone calls to idea cc. Why the hell you call it a customer care when you can;t help the customers.
      I'm a jio customer, and can say it way better than others in customer satisfaction.

        I have dnd service activated but idea cellular is disturb many time to link the aadhar card number

        Amount got debited from my bank account and got credited to beneficiary name as idea money without my knowledge.1lady called me saying she's frm sbi and asked for my debit card number.. And when i checked my account i saw 3 transactions were made to idea money of rs.4989 for 3 times total rs.14967.

        Neither the bank nor the police is helping in this case. Such fraudsters should be thaught a lesson so that they don't cheat innocent people.

        Kindly need your help to reverse this entry as i have not done such transaction from my side.

        Since July 2017, I have been requesting to link my aadhar number with my mobile connection number with Idea Cellular Network, which is not being done by the network provider till date, over lapse of two months period.

          Hi
          I wanted to do a recharge on of 347 which is for talktime but by mistake i made recharge of 349 from paytm which is of data. When i noticed this suddenly i called customer care to fix this that guy told me that once recharge is done we can't do anything but the recharge of data pack is not at all usefull coz the number is used by my grandfather and he is using simple phone in which he don't have browser so i requested them to switch the recharge he was just ignoring me. So i want to know how can do this

            My no.is [protected]. Some 10 to 12 months back I ported from Aircel to Idea. And though I had already done DND I started getting stupid health related messages from 53131.
            WELL HEIGHT OF THIS WAS THAT IT STARTED COMING IN LATE NIGHTS AND EVERY NIGHT 4 TO 5 MESSAGES !!! NOW MOST RIDICULOUS THING WAS THAT MY BALANCE REDUCED BY RS.3/- PER MESSAGE.THE RECEIVER OF THE MESSAGE HAD TO PAY INSTEAD OF SENDER. ☺☺☺☺☺☺
            UPON MY COMPLAINTS TO SEVERAL PLACES FINALLY I WAS TOLD THAT YOU HAVE REPLIED(!!!) TO THOSE MESSAGES AND VAS HAS BEEN ACTIVATED !!!
            I FAILED TO GET CONNECTED TO 53503 AS WAS TOLD IN THEIR MESSAGE TO CALL TO STOP VAS ☺☺☺☺☺

            AFTER WRITING ON NET AND CREATING A SCENE IN THEIR OUTLETS IT FINALLY STOPPED.

            NOW ONCE AGAIN ON MY SECOND NUMBER [protected] IT HAS STARTED FROM TODAY MORNING AND I RECEIVED SOME 10 MESSAGES FROM 1 PM TO 5 PM.DEDUCTING MY BALANCE BY 30 RUPEES.ALL MY COMPLAINTS TO THEIR C.C. FELL ON DEAF EARS !!!
            FINALLY I COULD SPEAK TO SOME ONE ON 12345 AND LO ! HISTORY REPEATED ITSELF. SAME REPLIES, SAME STUPID EXCUSES, SAME FRAUD, SAME STAND TAKEN BY THEM THAT THERE IS NO 'DND' DONE AND YOU HAVE REPLIED AND
            VAS HAS BEEN ACTIVATED !!!

            I am looking forward in getting some resolution for my raised issue. Please give me a call on below mentioned number to discuss further.

                Sir mere pas aapke excecutive ka call aaya tha k mam aapko 199 ka plan offer kia ja raha hai iske according aapko 60000 sec n/l calling and 512 3g data 300 sms per month milenge. But unhone galat plan activate kar dia or 3 month se complaint kar rahi hu. Koi solution ni mila

                  Dear all this is very unfortunate that my idea prepaid sim [protected] not working in dubai (Uae).
                  I been called to the idea helpline [protected] number of times but all the time they are false promising and doing nothing.
                  Every time i am trying to register with uae local operator etisalat or du getting the bellow error
                  "your sim card does not allow connection in this network"

                  I am really disappointed, not getting in touch with my family/friends and also loosing by business.

                  I had recharge with 697 on 5th of September for 1 gb data per day for 84 days with unlimited calling.but i am not getting any data .i registered a complaint with customer care but problems has not resolved.plz help otherwise tomorrow i will complaint to consumer forum.

                  I visit your idea gallery for pre to post migration. But gallery people every time give me a new excuse. No sim, not possible between bill cycle ete. And finaly they not help me.                     My name chandrakant i from hassan, karnataka i am using idea sim i was recharge 16/0917 rs.40 from recharge date i never call never sms never used data also my balance is rs.3 only unnecessary amount is deducted from idea service i was called customer care over this issue and i spoke with vibha one of customer care executive she telling wrong information me and also i confirm with 198 complaint service no. There no deduction any amount for any reason.

                      I got a message that on 26 september 2017, 11:50 pm my vodafone sim would be ported to idea number. Then i got welcome to idea message instructing me to call 59059 for tele verification.

                      Since then, i am trying to call 59059 for activation, from my idea sim (It is showing network both data & cellular) however... Only a small promo message of 148 recharge plays and call gets disconnected.

                      I changed handsets too, but 59059 just gets disconnected after promo call.

                      Kindly resolve the same & activate my number. Thank you.

                      Idea app was showing a 30D validity for a 247 worth recharge, but after the recharge was done I received a text msg showing only 10 days validity.

                        My billing cycle is on 25th of every month. I successfully ported out my number and it was deactivated from idea on 3rd september, 2017.

                        Still on 25th september, i am getting full month's bill instead of 10 days.

                        I have contacted customer care and they gave me in written that they are valid.
                        I have been charged 400 or something extra for things i never used!

                          I am post paid customer of idea cellular now i want to migrate my no.[protected] to prepaid.
                          I submitted an application for same on 26th august wich was rejected on 31 august due to reason of invalid documentation.
                          i submitted all the required document at balaghat idea outlet and requested again for migration with advance bill payment on 1st of september now my request rejected due to due amount although i have paid the bill in advance.
                          Again on 26th september i submitted request for migration with bill payment in advance which was rejected with reason invalid documentation.
                          in the view of the above reason of rejection of my request it seems idea arbitrarily dont want to migrate my phone no. From post paid to prepaid it hampers consumer interest and my freedom of choice which was guaranteed by constitution of india.
                          I have alredy appealed for the same to idea appellate authority and customer care idea but no response from them.
                          i request you to kindly look in to this matter and do needfull to save the citizen interest.

                            I have applied to port my number from airtel to idea. I got the new sim from idea store which is near by vijay nagar indore. It has now been more than 2 months my number is still not activated.
                            I have visited idea store on 11th sept and submit the copy of airtel last bill too and they have given assurance that my number will be started in 4 hours.
                            I wait for 5-6 days and contacted customer care number then they have told me to visit the local store again.
                            After that i went the local store yesterday with no luck.
                            All my banking transaction is linked with this number and i m now stuck. It is really frustrating. Please do the needful asap.

                            Nehanka, I received the call from idea today and as per them I have to switch into idea post paid only. However I have initially applied for prepaid.
                            I was helpless and had no choice choosing post paid option because the number I applied for PORT I have been using since more than 4 years and also used in banking transaction.
                            There is a huge difference in call and net charges between pre and post paid. Now, my question is who will pay for this. Or I have to go into consumer forum for compensation. I hope u understand the situation I m going through.

                            My concern is not resolved. I am helpless to go with Idea Post paid. My primary request was to go with Idea Prepaid only. Just because your careless attitude I was helpless to go with Idea Post paid. Now, please answer who will pay my post bills.

                              Dear sir/mam,

                              My self pradeep kumar and my idea postapid no is [protected]. I had provided number portablity request twice to idea cellular for my number [protected] on 25th of september 2017 but they have rejected stating that outstanding dues. The payment was made in complete on 23rd september 2017 successfully but still rejected. I had lodged a complaint to idea appellate authority but in vain no response. I have made repeated calls but your executives always giving the stupid excuses nobody is ready to answer me and no body responds to mails. Complainted about that too but bluntly idea executives told they cannot resolve the issue. So i put a portability request that to is rejected. This is the kind of harassment done by idea cellular to the customer.

                              Idea cellular is tha worst service provider in the world

                              Please take action against them and resolve my issue of portability.

                                I have received a call from number:[protected], informing that she is calling from sbi credit card division and told me that they want credit my reward points in sbi credit card, so they asked my sbi credit card details and i have provided them, but since my card is not working for online transactions, i have provided my yes bank debit card details:[protected], i have noticed later that my account got debited rs 4817 and again rs 4817 and again rs 4817 like this three times my money got debitted, through idea money. Please check this from your end, block that money and refund it back. I have logged fir as well

                                  At the time of purchasing no. They told me you are free to use services but now when i am trying to port my no. They are always telling me that no sir your bill is not paid or sir it would take a year to port etc etc
