On 27-June, I have received SMS from idea reg. value added service called Bluelima. I immediately called customer care & asked them what is blue lima. With my surprise, they don't know anything & moreover they said, this service was activated with my permission. I asked them to show the proof of permission. They don't have any record. I asked them to cancel all VAS services from my account.
Today, 5-July-2017, I have received a monthly bill from Idea with Rs. 35/- charged for Bluelima service from 26-June-2017 to 2-July-2017. Again I called customer care. They simply said we don't know anything about Blue lima. If they don't know anything, how can they charged without our permission.
When I asked them to show me the proof of my request / permission of activation of this service, they simply said, you don't pay, we will waive this amount.
This is very bad that a we, customers are charged for a VAS without our concern. This way Idea is minting money through backdoor. If they charged Rs. 35/- from 40 % customer like me then they will get more than Rs.50 Cr. per month. This is nothing but cheating the customer.
When anyone object then they simply waive the charges. Which means it is bogus charges & for that Idea should be punished with compensation to every customer they charged, for this type of fraudulent activity.
Kindly take this complained to TRIA & also give us contact details of TRIA so that we can write to them. Was this information helpful? |
