[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — excess charges for internet usage

Dear sir,
I had 10 gb mobile data pack active on my postpaid mobile no. [protected] (Idea). Consistently for last 4-5 months i was under using the mobile data. On the last date of the billing cycle 11.09.2017 (Billing cycle starts from 12th day of the month) i received call from the customer care suggesting to opt for 5 gb plan from next bill cycle starting from 12th september as my data was going waste (I had used 6.14 gb out 10.0 gb data till last day). I agreed for that but the very next day the when the bill arrived i was surprised to see that rs. 235 has been charged against me for overusing 1.14 gb data beyond % gb. The 5 gb plan was to be activated from the next bill cycle but they reduced my data package to 5 gb on the last day and charged me rs. 235/-
However, received following mail from idea for plan change effective from 12.09.2017:"

"dear customer, your request for 3g2g_aop_5gb_pck has been successfully processed via c1-[protected] for mobile no. [protected] w. E. F 12/sep/2017 10:35:24 am. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to service you. Now save upto 80% on internet bills with boosters - experience weekend, night packs. Dial toll-free *121*999#

This highly unethical and unprofessional practice on part of idea cellular and i will take up this matter further and also surrender the idea number soon.
