I had recharged 245 rs on 4july but it was unfit for national calls - next on 7th july, i had no option but to use rs. 199 as a recharge for additional minutes, but this as well failed to connect me to a desired std call.
After 10 mins of suffering thro the irritating idea caller tune, the cust care number 198 executive, told me i needed a minimum call balance of rs. 10 to use 245, and this rs.10 would not be deducted - and if it was being reduced - i was to call back and complain. Accordingly, i recharged on the 8th july - no surprises, every call was charged to the rs.10 account. Whereas, i have no idea where my credit for rs. 199 and rs.245 was consumed by idea.
Similarly, for another top up recharge of rs.20, data was consumed inspite of cellular setting - call center advises a call to 1925 to deactivate data seepage.
There are no calls that i have been able to use when idea has pocketed these recharge amounts.
(Sigh) tired of contacting cust care and raising complaints to educate idea to reduce the prepaid charge plan fine print and keep it simple and transparent Was this information helpful? |
