[Resolved] Idea Cellular — Miscommunication by customer care executive | |||||
I am using idea since more than 1 year. I always get monthly bill of Rs. 350-400. Last month i got marketting call for Idea for 3G pack, I also opted for it, but as there was no proper data connectivity, i asked to discontinue it but idea cellular customer executive did not informed me anything that after deactivating 3G pack i will not have any data pack benefit and i will be charged on data usage basis(Which has high charges). I was in impression that i only deactivated the new 3G pack, and will be continuing with my old existing 2G pack. But after completion of billing cycle i came to know that my bill for this month is Rs. 972.43. All this has happen due to half information given by the customer care executive. That executive should have inform me that after deactivating 3G pack, i will not have any data benefits and charges will be applicable accordingly, or else she could have ask me for continuation of my last old 2G data pack. I called the customer care 2-3 times but didnt got the solution .. I have written the mail to idear customer care but didnt got any solution.. I visited the Idea customer care center at Shankarnagar, Nagpur branch, but here also didnt get the solution... Now, again toady when i am checking my unbilled amount for this month, it is again showing Rs671.40 for data usage, though i have not used data this month.. when enquired this with customer care center theyn are saying that this message is wrongly sent by the Idea server and he advice me to ignore it...
