The billing systems used by idea seems either to be fraudulent or erroneous.
4 days after clearing the bill of previous cycle, my number is blocked from making outgoing calls saying that i have exceeded the credit limit of rs. 2800.
For almost 15 days, i have been trying to get it cleared and made multiple calls to customer care but in vain. However, thought the number is not in use, i receive messages of "thank you for using idea internet. Your internet usage till date is..."
However, the messages sent on a daily basis also are inconsistent and are a clear evidence of not following ethical practices or may be due to the mistakes in the information systems in place.
The message i got on 14/06/16 says my data usage is more than 3000 mb and my phone was barred from making outgoing calls as it exceeded the credit limit (Post paid). On 15/06/16, i get a message again stating that my usage till date is 1500 mb and the status is active and i can make outgoing calls.
However, the bill generated still shows that usage is above 3000 mb. It is also disappointing that the data usage figures changed on their own right around the corner of the billing cycle.
I would like to get a detailed explanation of my data usage before i pay the bill and i request that necessary corrective action should be taken.
If such practices are followed, then its exploiting and looting the helpless customers and is severely punishable Was this information helpful? |
