I rightly decided to port my idea number to reliance recently. After submitting relevant documents with reliance, i was given a time window of 15 days before the porting was successful. My expected porting date was 12/12/2016 00:00hrs.
I paid my outstanding bill for november 2016, as well as rs. 300 extra as precautionary usage charges for 12 days of december 2016. Meanwhile i was also using rs. 500 lvp internet pack. I opted for [protected]@rs. 250 for december 2016, and did not use the entire volume until 12 december. When i had a few mbs left, i switched off mobile data and my porting to reliance was successful on the night of 12 december.
Now, today i receive a call from idea seeking rs. 2009 as bill amount for december 2016. I immediately asked for itemized bill and they show prorated usage charges (That was never mentioned before in any communication received from their end, nor in any advertisement, plan info, any document whatsoever) a little over rs. 2300, subtracting the 300 rupees i had already paid, they claim am outstanding amount of rs. 2009.
This amounts to gross misinformation and mental harassment of customers and i am willing to drag you to court over this issue unless you resolve it promptly. It's not a matter of a few thousand rupees, but that of beach of rules and intentional misinformation to customers. As i see here, i'm not the only one affected, and seemingly i won't be the last either. So you really need to look into your operational loopholes, or face consequences.

Send a revised bill to my registered email id and I'd gladly pay it, there's no point stretching it over and over again.
