Idea Cellular — uninformed prorated overage charges

My case is same as " praveen nandi on Jan 13, 2015" and numerous others, I activated the 3G [protected]@250, because I wanted to fill up the taxes and some financial transactions online as my bsnl wifi was under maintenance. I had thoroughly checked the terms and conditions and nowhere found that, There is anything which mention that you should use the internet in throughout 30 days. Moreover, Idea site do not yield any result for `Prorated Overage Charges`. As in my case, I finished the 1GB withing few days, As soon as I reached my 1 GB limit and I turnoff my Idea's Mobil data on 16 Aug 2015. And then, Idea charged 541.200 Rs under the Prorated Overage Charges section. In my opinion Idea Cellular has breached consumer rights of `Right to Information` and `the right to consumer education`. For Idea before replying to my complaint please read and understand what I want: Regarding my case, you might have charged correctly (as per your law), I am not seeking 541.00/-. I am expecting the document which you published to educate/inform your customers regarding ` Prorated Overage Charges section`. I also wanted to know, How you have not break the "Right to information" which made to save consumer from hidden charges levied by provider.

2. I will not call your call centre, because you are charging 50Paise per minute from my pocket to explain you about your fault.
3. I am not the sole victim of your fraudulent business practice of hiding the T&C, So My mobile number has no locus of standi in this complaint.

Today I just received my e-bill and found Idea has charged me for Prorated Overrage Charges#

Team, This card I bought in Pune and I recently got job in Mumbai. Before coming to Mumbai, I checked with customer care and found that I will not be charged for roaming as I am postpaid user/customer.

In Maharashtra circle, I wont get any charge. But still I am charged with this. My total bill amount is 785.73 !!

Could you please look at this issue as soon as possible and let me know the reason for charges.

Yeah this is similar to me as well. i got my idea bill today and there included "Prorated Overage Charges" as 302.32. My idea number converted last month first week itself to pre paid. For this i paid total dues. Even though i am getting this charges without any information.
Dear Idea Team,
I received my bill of duration 15 July to 24 August 2017 against my mob number [protected]. The total bill is 2469 and it surprised me that it is the highest bill ever from Idia. Moreover, it is bill for 10 days and showing because of internet use.

I want to make it clear that i did not use the internet (prorated charge Rs. 2115) as much as bill is claiming and i think because i ported out my number. I expect all professional behavior from Idea and it seems cheap to put the high bill in case of number is ported out.

I request you to see the issue.

Note: It is the rule that company never let ported the number if any pending till the date you get a request for porting. In this view, my first request for porting was rejected due to the same reason (on 18 july). That's why I deposited extra around rs (50+128) other than last month bill (around 460) on 15 July and got ported. Now, i don't understand on what basis, Idea is claiming the highest bill.
