Hi,

I am currently using 2 of the idea numbers from very long time. I was very happy customer till mid last year. Due to some billing & network issue with idea service, i planned to get my both numbers convert from postpaid to prepaid.

Since both my numbers are chosen one's and very spl i want the numbers to be with me till end of my life. That is the only reason y i am keeping the number active and want to still be loyal with idea and didnt planned to switch or port the numbers with any other provider.

So i believe in month of march or april i visited at one of your idea gallery in malad west near station to change my postpaid connections to prepaid. The reason was i had called your customer care on 22nd dec 2016 from one of my number [protected] and asked them to disconnect the internet plan i also was informed by representative that it is been done.

But it was not done and i was getting the bill around 500 to 600 for around 3 to 4 months. I then planned to switch to prepaid connection. So i visited your gallery in malad and there got to know that you people are charging me for internet connection which i shouldn't be charged because i requested for cancellation of internet service or plan.

The manager at idea gallery in malad offered some adjustment of 150rs in the bill. But she said she wont be able to make any exceptions for whatever happened in last 3 months. The amount which i paid for the internet plan because i was charged. Even though i had requested for cancellation. Any how they convinced me and changed my plan to 99 monthly rental and no other value added services.

On 5th of june 2017 i had visited at one of your idea gallery (Unique telecom) in dahisar east. I inquired about the plan for internet plan for one of my number which is [protected]. The representative (Sujit) informed me about 349 plan where i will get 1gb every day and local/std calling free. He explained me the plan i accepted to switch the plan for which he asked me to get the new 4g sim card from another representative whos name is sheetal. She asked me to sent the 15 digit number which was mentioned on sim card to activate the sim, which i did and she told the network will go on previous sim after which i have to use new sim.

I went home changed the sim and got internet connection up on my phone. Later on we received call stating that the internet usage is high on our number. Then we informed that we have internet plan and she disconnected the call. So i called customer care late night on 14th june 2017 where i spoke with nikhil gaikwad and he informed me that new plan of 349 is not activated on my phone number it is still on 99 plan. He told me to visit at the gallery and call from there.

Today i visited at the gallery in dahisar east and told them about what happened. So they informed me that i have only asked for 4g sim card upgradation and not for plan. The representative sujit not interacted with me and sheetal was very rude and firm that its not our problem its me who has to bear the amount for the usage of internet connection which is around 721 now unbilled.

I then called your customer service and spoke to raj and explained him about the issue. He was also like we can't do anything so i requested him to transfer the call to his manager. He transferred the call to his supervisor name ravindra satpute, he told will investigate and asked for 24 to 48hrs time. Will wait for the reply and accordingly will take next step.

On tuesday or wednesday i will also pay the amount if i dont get positive response from you people and get my number port to some other service provide. Then i will not be with idea anymore. Since i will be porting my number to other provider my number will be not in active. So if any of you planning to speak to me then call me on my alternate nunber [protected]

Imp: why will a person in this world will just take a 4g sim card and not activate or go for a plan. Specially when he is not having any internet connection plan on his number. Please make me under stand this, i will appreciate if anyone of you can make me understand this :)

My fault:
Use to never check the bill and directly pay the amount with a faith that there will be no mistake. Which i have learned from idea and will continue this in future in my life.

Complaint:
1. Internet plan cancellation in dec 2016 for which i was charged for 3 months.
2. Now again charged for internet usage and 349 plan was not activated.
3. Unique telecom gallery representative sujit & sheetal not supportive, not professional, not taking ownership, rude specially sheetal.
