I have received an email from IDFC BANK. As per the contents of the email, the TDS for the bond maturity payment (matured on 31 Dec 2021)is already deducted. However, I have not been paid the maturity amount.
So, I called customer care (four times) for the same on 26 February and 14 March 2022, and 05 Apr 2022; and I was assured that the Payment for the matured bonds would be made within five working days.
As per their email request I had updated all my details of PAN. Bank account details with cancelled cheque, Aadhar card etc.
I also seek to get the interest on the period till Payment is not made the due lackadaisical approach of the concerned staff.
I am shocked as IDFC First bank staff have cut the TDS against my PAN but don't have PAN proof.
Request follow up urgently. Regards,
