Hi,
I have appeared for idp ielts more than 10 times, inthe last 1.5 months more than 5 times, applied for revaluation for 2 times, everytime i have paid 13k.

I am able to score 8plus bands in listening and reading every time. 9 bands in reading on few occasions. 7.5 plus bands in soeaking on each occasion but not sure why idp is helding my marks for writing section. How much more business they want from me? How much more money they want to loot from me?

Note: i am awaiting for the result if 2 revaluation request and have registered for 15 Dec exam. Only with the hope that some kind of miracle will happen and IDP people will be kind enough to give me 7 in writing, I am really fed up with so many attempts. This is my last hope to achieve my dream.
I have applied for my IELTS Exams 3 times & applied for re-evaluation twice. Each time I scored less in Writing only
Finally this time when I scored the desired score in writing, they have decreased my Speaking scores. I have also send them an email for the clarification on this & had multiple emails from appeal.[protected]@idp.com
I have been giving this exam since 2 years and now I have so many concerns about it.
1. One can get a degree in these 2 years
2. Why every time this is happening with most of the people that when they score in one section; their scores in another section decreases?
3. Speaking exam re-evaluation costs more than half of the IELTS exam and the evolution is done on the basis of recording only. How is that even justified!
4. If this exam is really to test the English speaking skills of an individual, then why every time the candidate has to book for the whole exam and not just for one module in which he/she is lacking?

I am not convinced by my result & the re-evaluation on it because if it is really so, then why can't they ask for the candidate to come again & appear for that speaking again when the candidate is already paying Rs.10, 500/- just for evaluation.

Most interesting fact is that when you will get the scores in one module, for sure you will score less in any other so that you can spend more & more & for years just to get the desired score in this exam as this is mandatory to either applying for study visa or permanent residency.

Completely disappointed with IDP now & looking forward to alternate so that at least people will spend on something productive than just wasting money on this.

    Hi,

    I have given my exam on the 27th of oct and was supposed to get my result declared on the 13th day (9th november) i got an email stating that my result is under investigation. I have a job opportunity in hand and i needed the score for submission to my employers. I haven't had any response from their hotline team nor the verification team. This kind of delay can cost a person their career etc. This experience is the most frustrating team. I do believe this is a money making gimmick so that people appear for another exam and they mint more money.

    My advise don't choose idp as their customer team is terrible and has absolutely no clue whats so ever on what is happening.

      I scheduled my exam for 10 november and was unable to appear because of passport not available at that time. Inspite of emailing calling and even going to the head office nobody guided properly with my situation as i requested to put my test on hold. It was technical issues with idp website and unavailability due to holiday season that my issue was addressed late. Now when i am requesting to allow me to pay the fees and reschedule my request is not adhere with invalid reason continuously being given to me.

        My speaking test was on 24/11/2018, all things were good but the voice of my examiner was not proper audible to me because of this issue i am not able to speak more questions rightly and also she stopped me at only 1 minute in case of my cue card speaking additionally my all over speaking was about 8 minutes so please i need help from idp ielts as anon as possible because this was my first and last chance for me. Therefore i request to idp ielts to conduct my speaking test again without any cost

          While booking a slot for general training on 15-12-18 for centre = noida, money has been deducted from my account doing hdfc bank netbanking transaction but no confirmation has been received from idp regarding the booking of the date on mail. Moreover the transaction showed as unsuccessful. However i havw received the message received that payment has been made to idp. Please help me what should i do, in this case

            It is waste of time and money in selecting idp. We are trying to contact u. But no one is responding. I have seen such a neglence. Before registration u will send many mails like idp is this idp is that. Once we have registered then i no response. I have been trying to know about speaking slot when i am trying to book it is showing some error. No reeponse

            Today ielts exam held at Balsons paradise palace patiala on 3rd November 2018 but there is not sitting arrangements for parents that is very bad parents are sitting outside the palace on road this is ridiculous if the parents pay the huge amount of fee then they also right to sit in palace not on road
            My result was out on 2nd november but have not received my result hardcopy. Have continuosly mailed them..did not got any reply..having been trying all there numbers provided. This is really dispointing work from them. Someone's future is on line still they are not acting seriously.

              My name is manjit singh and i am from amritsar.in month of august i gave a exam of ielts on 2nd august 2018 at jalandhar. I expect to get my result on 15 august but i received a mail from idp in which they mention that your result is under investigation i am shocked when i got this news. I also sent them a scanned written statement after 5 day of investigation mail.. Then i call idp and also sent many mails but only get same reply again and again. Now, i am waiting for result from last 2 months but still not received yet. Please understand my concern because i want to apply for canada. Kindly let me know when i will get my result.

                selection of speaking slot - cheating

                I booked the idp ielts instead of bc, just because they had mentioned in their website that it has the flexibility of choosing the speaking slots. But after the payment is done, the website does not provide any option to select the speaking slot. When contacted, they said they will only give the slot just 2 days before the exam date and we need to attend the speaking test whenever they give the slot. This is completely contrary to what is...

                  You guys are an absolute scam. Just to make money and repeated attempts, you make sure to reduce a candidates points in writing everytime by.5 which is very unlikely when the person scoring high in other sections. The eor process is a further big scam where there is no way for a a person to even know if the documents for sent or not. The no of complaints is very high against you guys but with celpip coming to india i just hope people move towards that and stop investing in such fake tests that you conduct and delay a persons process for pr. You guys are shameless.

                    Hi team,

                    I have requested for my ielts exam cancellation on 30th september ‘17 via email for which i have not go the response until 6th oct. I have called to your helpline number also they were just giving assurances that i will get request for my query soon. Finally on 6th oct in the afternoon around 3pm i have got the revert from idp stating i need to submit my cancellation request form by today itself as it was the weekend i was traveling hence it was not possible for me to do the needful in half a day as soon as i reached home i have mailed again on 7th oct around 11pm stating if cancellation is not possible please consider my request for exam postpone from 10th nov 2018 to 17th nov 2018 for the same centre. They said as i have crossed the tat now i am not eligible for cancellation and postpone. Due to delay in response from idp side now i stuck as due some personal exigency i will not able to apprear for 10th november ‘18 exam and my money is wasted. Request you please consider my request as exception and grant me cancellation of the exam. My passport number is z4403396 and ticket number for cancellation request is [protected]. Experience of call centre and chat was so horrible. Cces were rude and not willing to help.

                      I have booked IElTS exam through IDP and due to some personal reasons i have applied for cancelled exam, And they also approved for my refund, IDP customer care person tell to me that the amount will be credited with in 15th aug 2018 but till now my amount is not credited in my account.In below i have attached the proof also and then if i call for this problem they are not giving proper response .Kindly take this issues seriously and solve this problem

                        I was being said that i will be receiving a confirmation mail and a text message notification regarding the confirmation of my speaking slot as the speaking slot window was not available on the day i have booked the ielts test (6th october, 2018)

                        However, no such information was delivered to me (Neither on mail nor sms) when the same was uploaded on the portal. I was out of the city and was making sure to check mails and message alerts in every few minutes.

                        Moreover, i was not informed by any executive that the information has been uploaded on the portal, leave aside the email or sms. It was today (I. E 4th october 2018) when i just called by myself to reconfirm my speaking slot status i was informed that it was due today and i have missed the same.

                        This is clear case of miscommunication. I, therefore, request you to provide a redressal at the earliest.

                          Hi,

                          This is regarding the unfair marking on account of ielts idp, i have given a number of ielts exams in the past but haven't been able to reach the necessary score (L:8, r:7, w:7, s:7) required for immigration. As much as it indicates that i may not have been prepared enough for the exams, i am very confident that the results have been in no way congruent to the content i had written.

                          I believe that ielts is essentially running a business to get the candidates to re-enroll for their costly examination giving a false hope to the people planning to migrate. There is no reason ielts should ask for the personal information of the candidates including the purpose of exam and the country of migration.

                          This way, immigration could hold back the number of people applying for migration and ielts could make huge profits banking on the lack of confidence of people giving the examination leaving them with the only option of re-enrollment.

                          I can provide the details and the proof of discrepancies in the results as i have appeared 5 times for the exams already. Please help me look into this matter.

                            3-4months back i applied my offer letter through idp jalandhar, punjab and after 20days they shown me a rejection email that i got rejected from this university which wasn't any official letter from the university, it was self made. To ensure that, i talked to the director of the university (Cbu, ns, ca) i have my friends there, they helped me, and the director said there's not a single application they got with my name. Idp wasted my crucial time. Because of them i couldn't go for september intake.

                                I have given IELTS general training exam on 2nd June 2018. My result was expected on 15th June (after 13 days). On 15th June, I received an email stating that my result is under scrutiny and have been forwarded for further investigation.
                                After 3 months - I received a letter stating that after following strict quality measures they have decided that my result cannot be declared and TRF form will not be given.
                                How can they play with candidate's time and effort. Without providing any evidence how can IDP state that your result can't be declared. They should provide a proof stating what was went wrong and they are penalizing the candidate for the same.

                                  I have given ielts twice through academic once from india and once from australia and i have been living in australia for 3 years now and both time my score was overall 7 and 7 or 7.5 each but this time when i gave my ielts exam in general category from bhatinda i got overall 7.5 with 8 in listening 8 in speaking 7.5 in reading but 6.5 in writting. I dont understand how the paper was checked how can a person be fluent and speaking listening and reading but bad at writting? There is no logical reasoning for that and when i sent my paper for re - evaluation it came back with the same result. My whole future has come to a stand still because someone did not do the checking properly speaclly when the detailed result shows that only the conclusion was a little unclear everything else was fluent including vocabulary and spelling.

                                    Sir/ madam,

                                    I gave my ielts test on 18 august 2018 at hotel punnu international, amritsar. I know that enough complaints have been submitted to you against this venue and you know everything what happened that day. But the disgusting fact is that no action has been taken so far and you guys are silent despite of knowing everything. So there's no point of requesting you to take any action because you won't take any. Instead i am not going to retake this test atleast from idp. Poor service and poor staff!!

                                      My name is Hemant Rajveer Singh from India. On date 18/August/2018, I appeared for LRW exam in General. My passport number is R0768224. The venue of the exam was Hotel Punnu International 7, court road, Amritsar.

                                      My major concern of putting this email is about the quality of the exam coordinator and associates, especially regarding their way of conducting exam at such a poor venue. Facilities were disgusting in a manner of the lighting system, assistance and intimations provided during the exam.

                                      During the exam,
                                      Firstly, During the exam, there occurs an electricity fault more than 5 times. Because of which, there was a reshuffling of modules. The listening module which supposes to be done initially is conducted at the last.
                                      Secondly, Because of no electricity, the hall was completely suffocating.
                                      Thirdly, the exam which supposes to be finished in 2 hours 30 minutes, almost took more than 4 hours. Even, the exam coordinator was very rude to candidates.
                                      Taking about Speaking venue, I was not convinced by the way speaking took place.

                                      IELTS exam needs proper concentration and focus during all modules which I believe is IELTS coordinators responsibility to provide such quite environment. Meanwhile, I am writing this letter with very much regret that this exam was complete wastage of time and money.

                                      I am not sure of either IDP Australia is aware of this situation or not. Please make a possible solution for this. I am also in favor of a refund and terminating this exam from my side. Please do the necessary.
