Dear Sir, I had paid Rs.1292/- wide cheque No: 103236 Dt: 03/04/2015 to Iffco Tokio Gen. Insurance co. at its branch office at210-211, govinda complex, opp. Panchratra comp; VAPI-396195. After paid the policy amount & several reminder to Mr. Vishal, cont. person at branch off they had not reply for issuing the original policy. Although Written reminder given & reply recd. on 20.03.15 from support center that you had recd. original policy within 4 days, but I had not received the same till date. I had faced lot of difficulty with RTO during the month due to non receipt of Insurance Policy. I want to cancle the policy & refund the premium amount with interest which I had already paid. From support centre Mr. Rajendra Joshi denied to lodge the complain regarding the policy & try to divert our mind. Pl. reply at the earliest. Thanks & Regards, Nirav Kapadia. Mob. [protected]

Company siezed my salary and pf amount and tortured me

I had worked with iffco tokio. But now i resigned the job because my reporting manager tortured me very much. He uses gali galoch and misuse his power and blackmailed me deeply.

Please help me in this matter.

        Denial of car insurance claim by the surveyor

        I have a Zero Depreciation Car Insurance Policy of IFFCO TOKIO GENERAL INSURANCE CO. LTD. for my car (Toyota Etios) registered in Delhi having Registration no. DL2CQ 0700.

        Recently, I met with an accident as a result of which the rear bumper, tail light, dikki, right hand side rear tyre & rim got completely damaged. There were some other damages also to front bumper and second tail light.

        On 11/06/2013,

        the Honda Activa was parked in our Parking Lot from where it was theft and immediately on the same day we lodge a police compliant to the
        Vejal pur police station. The Officer incharge had just booked our complaint of theft in his registration as just for information and did not lodge

        official FIR for the theft. He told us to wait for 7-10 days for lodging the official FIR but meanwhile started the investigation of theft vehicle on

        complaint booked on just for information. Hence the official FIR was lodged by Vejalpur police station on 23/06/2013.

        Due to this act of Vejalpur police station- Ahmedabad the IFFCO TOKIA GENERAL INSURANCE has deducted our 25% of claim amount due to

        late intimation. But this was not at all our fault. The Police station in charge claimed that we cannot lodge the FIR for stolen vehicle on

        immediate basis so it has to be done in this way. We had not accepted the 25% deduction of claim amount and in that case IFFCO TOKIA

        GENERAL INSURANCE has send us a letter for not giving and settling any of the claim amount ( 0 Rs) and we did not receive any claim amount

        and according to IFFCO TOKIA the claim is closed with no liability

        Can I please request IRDA to intervene in this matter and give us justice as we are struggling to get the claim amount from IFFCO TOKIA GENERAL

        INSURANCE but they did not give any proper reply to our claim. I would also like to inform that we have submitted each and every documents

        and support related to theft claim to the surveyor incharge of this claim.

          I had iffco Tokyo insurance for my bajaj discover the had provide me fraud insurance receipt and said the will provide me original copy in 2 month but they are not able to provide me. After 3 month of insurance taken by vehicle way lost and the company has not provide policy amount they said you had taken insurance from dadar branch and this branch is close so catch the dadar branch manager and collect amount from him , the receipt is from ifco Tokyo and it has stamp also. . . .

          Mr. Chetan,

          If you have the original receipt from the insurance company, indicating the premium amount paid and the motor insurance cover note, then you can claim against the insurer for the loss of your vehicle. However, if you do not have any documents with you, towards proving the payment of premium, it would not be possible for you to prove your case.

          Closure of a branch office, non - issue of the policy document etc., can be negated provided you have proof of placement.

            IFFCO TOKYO SCOOTER INSURANCE — CANCELLATION OF POLICY

            I HAD TAKEN AN INSURANCE POLICY FOR MY SCOOTY WITH THIS COMPANYIN AUG 2007.THE SAME IS BEING USED BY ME FOR THE PAST ONE YEAR. NOW WHEN I HAVE ASKED FOR RENEWAL MR SWAGAT OF THE COMPANY (PH [protected]) HAS INTIMATED TO
            ME THAT THE POLICY HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO NON REALISATION OF THE CHEQUE. THIS HAS COME AS A SHOCK AS
            WHEN THE COMPANY HAD INTIMATED TO ME THAT THE CHEQUE HAD NOT BEEN CLEARED, I HAD COME TO THEIR ANDHERI OFFICE AND PAID THE WHOLE AMOUNT IN CASH(ICLUDING THE FINE(ABOUT 861 RS). THEREAFTER, THE POLICY NOTE (NO C/N 35114012 DATED 29 AUG 08) WAS ISSUED TO ME.

            IF MY POLICY WAS CANCELLED.. THAN WHY WAS THE LETTER PROPER INSURANCE DOCUMENTS SENT TO ME. ISINT IT CORRECT THAT THE PROPER POLICY CERTIFICATE IS DESPATCHED ONLY AFTER TOTAL REALISATION OF DUES. (I AM NOT SPEAKING OF THE COVER NOTE..BUT THE POLICY CERTIFICATE ALSO)

            Iffco Tokio — Online Policy

            I purchased my two wheeler policy in online from IFFCO Tokia, they said i will get my hard copy of insurance within 7 days, but more than 1 month i haven't received my policy. Mailed to customer support many times but no response.

              Sir, I have booked renewed insurance of my car bearing no. DL4CND 8399 vide Covernote no. 72043381and paid the full amount, in advance i.e. on 16/04/2011 vide cheque no. 76888 amounting to Rs. 8099. Insurance of my vehicle was falls due on 25/04/2011. The said cheque has already been cleared from my account. It is very unfortunate that despite repeated request on telephone no. [protected] to one Sh Deepak, Agent of the company, I have not received the policy documents so far. Kindly look into the matter without delay or I am going to file complaint in consumers courts against the company for delaying and making me harrassed throuh its agent.

                  We had taken motor policy from iffco tokio for which the providing policy no was 79363799 and policy period was 18 / 8 / 2009 to 17 / 8 / 2010 my vehical was met with an accident on 1 / 7 / 2010 at 9:15 pm. At bhilad and estimated loss was rs. 400, 000 / - and the claim is not settled till date due to some reason.

                  As of date the vehical is ready to be delivered at hyunday show room. But iffco tokio officials (Mr. Vijay jariwala & surveyor mr. Anthony bose) are providing us the information that the poly claim is closed at their ho. But we were not provided any information regarding the closed claim.
                  If the claim was closed then how can hyundai motors will continue with having repairing works done & the vehical is compleately ready at their end.
                  (We also had forwarded the request letter to re - open the claim twice on request forwarded from iffco tokio surveyor mr. Anthony bose, but no positive reply we have received till date)

                  We only just request you to please re open this case & look into this matter at the earliest.



                  As already 12 months have passed & we are facing lots of problems in terms of not having vehical at our end.

                  We were not knowing thing behind this insurance claims, as after paying the premium every year on time. We had to face this kind of issues.

                      Subject: Accident Claim of Car No. HR 51K 5961 IFFCO TOKIO General Insurance Policy No. 74658751
                      Sir,
                      It is brought to your kind notice that undersigned met with an accident of his Maruti Zen car No. HR-51K 5961 at Mathura road Faridabad in the evening of 18th December 2010 The car was insured with Iffco Tokio General Insurance Company Ltd ( Insurer) with policy No. 74658751. Insurer was immediately informed about the accident. As per instruction of the insurer, car was shifted to the workshop of M/S Batra Auto Company (Repairer), Mathura Road Faridabad along with claim form and other documents required for claim processing. The repairer prepared the estimate No. 35254 dated 24/12/2010 of the order of Rs2,50,000/- (Rs two lakh fifty thousand approx.& submitted to insurer with a copy to the insured for further n.a.
                      Insurer appointed Shri Mukesh Kumar Agarwal as Surveyor and Loss Assessor(SLA).
                      I was pursuing the settlement of claim thr the insurer’s agent shri Shailender Kumar ( Ag. No.[protected] for the settlement. Inspite of his best efforts , I have heard nothing from the insurer about any development for claim settlement till February 22, 2011 when I lodged a complaint on insurers website for my grievance for non settlement of claim. The insured reply received on 24th Feb 2010 about the registration of my complaint with complaint No. 1-[protected] and quoting a false and misleading message that ‘ You were unhappy with insurer not issued claim cheque inspite of offer of settlemet’ inspite of the fact that I was neither informed by any party viz insurer, SLA or agent nor issued any offer of settlement till then. It was also conveyed to communicate in future with their grievance officer Shri P.J. pradhan via email or phone quoting the complaint No. in all future communications. I have replied this email message same day saying that the no offer of settlement is issued to me till date and requesting to look into the issue of my claim settlement as per rule/policy at the earliest possible.
                      On 9th March 2011 I received SMS as well as email message with regret that complaint No. 1-[protected] being investigated is likely to take more time.
                      On 11th March 2011, I received a SMS that ‘your complaint is resolved and letter confirming same is being sent’ which is not received till 16th of March 2011 and therefore, the insured via email message dated 16/03/2011 was requested to examine and expedite the issue of claim settlement and forwarding it to IRDA & to your good self also for intervention.
                      Insurer was also requested via email message dated 18/03/2011to look into resolve the matter expeditiously. This message was also forwarded to IRDA on 19th March with a copy to the insured.
                      I was embarrassed & felt harassed getting no reply from the insurer, a letter of request was emailed to the insurer with a copy to IRDA on 23/03/2011 explaining my liabilities of making payments of Rs 5000/-to the repairer towards the preparation of estimate and also to pay parking [protected]@ Rs100/-per day which is getting multiplied day by day and will be a loss to me due to delay in settlement. I also requested to the insurer to issue me a copy of survey report for my perusal and record. This letter was also forwarded to your good self for n.a. on the same day. In the evening of 23rd March 2011, I received the false and fabricated reply from the insurer that the assessment of surveyor was on repair basis and that it was not acceptable to me inspite of the fact that I was not informed about it by any party viz SLA, insurer and repairer. Insurer has also informed that it did not receive the survey report even after more than three months and shows inability to provide the copy of survey report at this point of time violating IRDA regulations. I have replied this email message of the insurer on 29th March 2011 quoting the obligations of insurer as per IRDA regulations and explaining that whole process of assessment of car and preparation and submission of survey report by SLA should have been completed within two months and that the delay in the process of claim settlement is on your part (Insurer). Insurer was also requested to send the offer of settlement along with a copy of survey report explaining liabilities of insurer and insured separately for consideration.
                      Insurer has lied and fabricated information in the email message received in the evening of 29th March 2011. Insurer has informed that the original documents got verified only on 20/02/2011. Whereas the same were submitted on 22/12/2010. Insurer has never informed about the developments taking place till 22nd Feb 2011 till I lodged a grievance complaint on its website.
                      Insurer bothered to reply our messages/requests only after 23/03/2011 implying its malafide intentions to harass the innocent customer. I failed to understand, how the SLA arrived for tentative loss of Rs65,000/- against an estimated loss of the order of Rs2,50.000/-.and therefore, as per IRDA regulations, I requested to appoint an another surveyor for independent opinion.
                      Insurer was again requested to provide the copy of survey report. Insyrer again refused the request vide email message dated 29/03/2011 violating IRDA regulations.
                      Therefore, I have informed my disinterest to get the vehicle repaired as the condition of the vehicle further deteriorated for being unattended for a long time. Insurer was requested to retain the vehicle and settle the claim in light of repair estimate of the order of Rs2,50,000/-.

                      Maruti Zen — Misleading communication

                      Monday (8th June 2009) i dropped my Maruti Zen for some critical work in one of the authorized Maruti Service centre (Narayani) in Bhubaneswar, Orissa. Their representative took the test drive of car and made an estimate of Rs. 9000.00 that included wheel balancing, AC gas filling, Steering repair, checking of breaks etc. and promised to deliver at 1700 hrs. They have my mobile no. in case of any change or extra work to be done.

                      At 1700 hrs. i called Narayani motors and they confirmed, car is ready. When i reached there, i found no job has been attended and they made a bill of rs. 1800/- for paid service and small repair work. When i asked about the critical repair work like AC gas, steering problem, breaks checking etc. he said they are not having spares therefore they could not do any work.

                      I want to mention here that i am working with Indian Oil Corporation Limited and posted in Paradip which is approx. 150 kms from Bhubaneswar. Therefore it is very difficult for me to come even once in two months. When i asked why spare problem not told me in the morning 0900 hrs when their represetative estimated of Rs. 9000.00 and ensured me all the jobs could be finished by 1700 hrs., they had no reply.

                      The reason i could understand, they did not want me to go to any other service station. But their this act caused me financial loss as well as time loss which cannot be compensated. From Paradip it is 3 hours drive (one way) and these people did not even bothered to tell me till 1700 hrs. that the spares are not available. If you want i can send you scanned copy of the work they recorded to carry out and copy of bill.

                      If there is no action against Narayani motors from your end i will submit my experience in consumer cell.

                        I am not happy with the way Iffco Tokyo General insurance company has refused to re-new the insurance of my OLD car which was under their insurance since many years.

                        I was chasing them since 16th April where insurance expired on 26th April. Then they told me i have to pay for survey and after survey they have again rejected to do insurance of my old car.

                        I need help and support on this. I will not go to anyone else for insurance, as they do not have right to refuse for insurance. I am taking this as harasment case.

                          My brother have a commercial 3 wheeler (Mahindra alpha) , which have met an accident in march - 11 (Insured from iffco tokio gen. Insurance) . He get repaired this from sanjay automobile (Repaired bill attached) . My brother was unknown about that & paid the amt. Which charged by sanjay automobile. Now he did not get the amt from insurer & sanjay automobile charges double amt. Like denting painting etc which claim not passed by the insurer (As told by the surveyor.

                          Pls. Do the needful & suggest what should we do.

                          We can't mistaken any body in this case.Because your brother's vehicle is commercial type.As per the insurance rule these type of vehicles are not enjoying painting charges ( allowed 50% of painting, replacement of mudguard etc if the premium includings IMT 23 ).

                            This is Lokesh Kumar Sharma on behalf of Mr. Yogesh Sharma. My elder brother had general insurance from IFFCO-TOKIO and below mentioned is details of Policy and Claim on his Unicorn Bike No. "HR-26Z 1188".

                            The claim has been approved in month of september and as per commitment of insurance inspecter the check for same claim need to delivered within a month but now it's almost 3 months and no one in IFFCO-TOKIO tell me the status of same check.

                            The customer care given me Mr. Pankaj's office no. 45787400/45787300 but these guys either do not pick up the call or incase they pick up my call they tell me to call next day or next week as Mr. Pankaj is not available here. Once i talked to Mr. Pankaj also he said to call me next week on monday but this monday never comes in IFFCO-TOKIO even customer care given me a complaint number regarding same many times i asked them to arrange a revert call but no one calls back. I am badly tired of making calls again and again to IFFCO-TOKIO which is worthless so finally i decided to register a complaint here. Please do the needful or suggest me to take a legal action regarding same against IFFCO-TOKIO.

                                I Lokesh Kumar Sharma is registering complaint on behalf of my elder brother Mr. Yogesh Sharma for Policy no. 73648060, we had a claim that got survaied and passed by iffoco tokio and they told us that check for same insured amount will be delivered to us at our home address. It all happened in month of september but still there is no update from Iffco tokio, neither they give good response regarding same nor provide me status of same check. Compnies with such kind of process inside should not allowed to run, if they can't take care of there customers they do not have any right to survive.

                                Please help and do the needful, for me till now it seems like i will not get any check from iffco tokio. Anyone please suggest best way, just to tell i have already called at customer care of iffco tokio for same and they keep giving me new numbers everytime once they given me no. or Mr. rajesh yadav next time they given me no. of Mr. pankaj but no one neither talk to me nor calls me back.

                                Please help and suggest what next should i do?

                                  I am Vijay #[protected]. My Bike DL-3s BF 7701 was theft on 08/09/2010, I reported to the policy and Insurance co Iffco Tokio. They connected me to All INdia claim dept. where Arun Rajputani (Manager) contact #[protected] misguided me every day. he told me to submit FIR which i submitted in 2 days. then he asked for keys and policy and bike documents which i submitted the same day. After 30 days he asked for untraced report. I submitted on 12/10/2010, But he did not ask for the Final report saying untraced report is all i need. Now Aditya Dixit Manager(Iffco Tokio) contact #[protected]/[protected] is asking for Final report. Please look into the matter and investigate.

                                  This is the normal procedure for getting insurance claim and that too from private insurer.
                                  for last six month i am not getting claim. The insurance agent and other who did survey the car are all useless person No body claim the responsility

                                    I am an unfortunate customer of IFFCO TOKIYO General Insurace cmpany Ltd. I am having an Individual Medishield Policy of 200000/- and i am using this policy since 2006. i Have renewed this policy on 16 Jan-2010. I had planned to get myself operated for HERNIA, as suggested by a doctor, for this when i submitted my Policy document, I come to know it is not updated with the TPA PARAMOUNT HEALTH SERVICES LTD.

                                    It took them 10 days to update their database, even after i submitted my Policy Document, Previous year TPA Card & Bank detail as an evidence for my payment.

                                    After this, they are delaying in giving APPROVAL, one day they asked me about my Photo ID Proof,
                                    The hospital and i myself mailed them but still nothing happened. First of all it's very difficult to access them as their Ph Numbers comes buusy all the time, rest the Call centre refuse to attend the DELHI Case. Even if i am lucky in placing the call, they assure me that the case is with the doctor and i should get the approval with an hour.

                                    But all their promises turns fake. As i am still waiting for my approval.

                                    I request if anyone can help me before its too late.
