Recently my vehicle was met with the accident and there was damage to the back Bumper, Dicky and front glass. The insurer surveyed the vehicle but has reduced the claim citing absurd reason. Kindly note that my policy is covered in zero dep but the insurer Mr. Vishwanath Pratap Singh is refusing to acknowledge anything and has reduced the amount significantly. He says that front glass will not be provided, back bumper can be provided but they will not cover claim for paint in the back cover new dicky. Also, upon asking he is giving excuses that this is as per policy. Requesting to please settle this matter as it is gross violation of consumer rights and also blatant disregard for already laid rules and regulations

            Future Generali Policy Number: VA295624
            Claim Number: CM522450

            I have an Insurance Policy of Future Generali for my car i20 registered in Surat. I have mentioned policy details above. Recently, My car met with an accident as a result of which the Front Bumper & a Headlight got completely damaged. There were some other damages also to the rear bumper.

            The Front Bumper & a Headlight of my car got major damage during the current accident. Just because, there was one very small old damage in the front bumper the surveyor denied my claim. My car's Front Bumper & a Headlight were completely damaged during the accident. However, the surveyor (Mr. Bhavesh Ahire) denied the claim. Since I have an insurance policy that covers the damages incurred during an accident, I am entitled to get the claim for the damaged Front Bumper & a Headlight, irrespective of what the surveyor feels. For the Front bumper, the claim has been denied stating that it has some old damage. I had not denied that fact. But irrespective of old damage to any part, if a part has been further damaged during an accident the cost of repairing additional damage that occurred during the accident should at least be passed by the insurance company. I am not asking the company to repair my old damages. I just want the company to cover my current damages for Front Bumper & a Headlight.

            Instead of assisting in the matter, the surveyor is trying to prove us wrong. The surveyor visited the workshop and collected data. I am still unable to understand as to once a policy covers 100% cost of repair/ replacement of the damaged part, why the company is not passing the same and is denying claims for various items (which have been destroyed because of accident) by giving one or the other reasons. It is very disappointing to see such assistance from the insurance company's side. The manner in which the claim has been passed does not at all seem to be justified. This is in a way cheating the customer by making false promises at the time of doing insurance and not living up to them thereafter. The conditions like these deductions were never told by the insurance company.

            If there is a car running on the road in Surat, there will always be some minor scratches on it. Effectively, the company has made the Zero Depreciation policy useless and is trying to recover the cost of depreciation in another way by approving incomplete/ partial claims. This was never informed to me at the time of renewing my car insurance. At the time of giving the insurance policy, many promises were made to me by representatives of the insurance company regarding the claim and the benefits. I was made to understand that the Zero depreciation policy is beneficial and you get the complete claim for the parts damaged during an accident. But the fact is totally different. My claim has been denied for various items damaged during the accident, for one or the other reasons. Better buy a good policy from a good company. Don't buy and suffer.

                For Policy no V7658554 of Future Generali general insurance company, they have received Rs 6562/- on 23.10.2021 vide transaction id PGT[protected] but till date no policy has been generated. I have been follow up from 15 days but still nothing result has been received from company.

                  I am writing this mail because of disappointment faced by me for my claim # CM467737, related to motor policy HFH60116. Please note that I have had no claims since the last 5 years and this one is after a long long time.

                  I had met with an accident last week which damaged the below mentioned parts:

                  - Front Bumper

                  - Right Side View Mirror

                  - Left Side View Mirror

                  - Right Fender

                  - Left Fender

                  - Rear Bumper

                  On 6th June, I went to the Hyundai workshop to get these repaired. I explained the entire accident and mentioned this on the report as well. I was shared with the surveyor’s number in the evening, and I tried to connect with him multiple times, but he did not pick up.

                  On 7th June morning, I was informed that the approval was obtained only for the right fender and partial (70%) for the bumper. This is very shocking considering that no one from Future Generali attempted to understand the case and partial approval given based on very limited understanding gained based on pictures. If pictures could say things, there would have been no need for the processes. I connected with the surveyor ‘Ajay Patel’ and he had no idea that the side view mirrors were damaged and needed repair. This is absolutely shocking, and I am unable to understand how the claims are submitted and what is the approval process (if any or is just based on random approvals).

I have no previous payment due and it use to deduct automatically. Due to change of rule I paid Oct and Nov months payment online and manually.                           We writing to express our concern about recent incident we experienced from Future Generali Insurance Company regarding the Vehicle Insurance claim. The incident took place on 4 June 2021 at Juhu, Mumbai 400 049, on same day we sent the Car at Shreenath Motors Service Centre situated at Swami Vivekananda Rd, next to Petrol Pump, Oshiwara, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400102.

                          The representative of Service Center intimated us that they will take I week for repair the damages and they will claim the Insurance from the Future Generali Insurance Company then he took documents from us for further procedure. However, a week later we called him for the status of the car, and then he informed us that it will take 1 more week as the car parts not available, and then he finally gave the delivery date of 18 June, 2021 at 2pm to take the delivery of the Car.

                          Whereas, on 18 June 2021, the Car was supposed to deliver to us however on the same date suddenly received called from Future Generali company's representative Mr. Sagar Dahiwalkar saying that they cannot provide us liability as the Driving License of Mr. Sunil Shinde (driver) provided by us is not valid as per the RTO's online portal although we had submitted valid Driving License valid up to[protected] even renewal payment receipt (dated 2017) issued by RTO.

                          Furthermore, as per the requirement of Insurance company of Extract we provided the same to them, according to extract it is clearly visible that said License is ACTIVE also it is mentioned that Mr. Sunil Shinde (driver) had applied for Renewal in 2017, which means We have Valid License received from RTO validity up to 20/04/2029.

                          Whereas, the said Car is still in the Service Centre, but the Future Generali Insurance Company deliberately holding the liability and delaying to deliver the Car.

                            Sub: Insurance claim of the car. for more than 2 months after submitting all the documents.

                            I, Mr. Deepak Kumar Singh o[censored]ttarakhand., the policy holder of the mentioned policy, duly taken from the broking agency details.
                            Accident Claim No. CM265960, Policy No. MAH78459, Vehicle No. UK06BA5343, Intermediary Name/Code: Mahindra Insurance Brokers . With reference to the above policy, my complaint is that on[protected], I was traveling from Uttarakhand to Bihar with my friends in my car XUV UK or A5343, at night my car got out of control at village Dhuppur. fell in a ditch nearby, in which three of my colleagues died. After this we claimed the company, after a few days, the company's agent, Amarendra Srivastava, calls us and says that you will not get the claim money because your friend told us statement is given. That you have taken a car fare of Rs 5000 to go from Uttarakhand to Bihar. I said you have some proof. Then the agent says that your friend has given us the statement. But my friend is saying that we have not made such a statement, a false statement has been taken from us. Company's agent is troubling us mentally. On the phone that you will not get the claim money. But when I spoke to another agent telephonically, we were assured that the claim would be settled in a few days. And now 2 months 14 days have passed so far no solution has been found. on behalf of the company. Please note that the event happened on 14th April 2021 and today is 28th June 2021 Already 2 months 14 days have passed and we don't know how long it will take you.
                            I never expected such delay from Future Generali Insurance. I am facing a real nightmare with Future Generali Insurance.
                            Hence we request you to kindly take necessary action and settle this claim at the earliest. Otherwise we will go to court and file "PIL". against the company

                              Subject: Very Very UNPROFESSIONAL!

                              My Motor Insurance Policy : Ref HFG74553

                              My Car Insurance Policy was due for renewal on 24 May 2021. Their Agents started sending me messages / contacting me as early as March 2021.
                              I renewed the policy on 7 May as requested by the Agents. There was no accident/claim till then and the Agents asked me to send a message to that effect. I had obliged.

                              They did not inform me that if, after the renewal and the expiry of the then existing policy, there comes a claim I should pay the No Claim Bonus Recovery Amount.

                              And I did not know this provision.

                              On 17 May 2021 the car met with an accident and a claim was made.
                              Now I receive a letter from Future Generali India Insurance Co. Ltd accusing me of concealing the CLAIM at the time of renewal.

                              The letter was qurantined as usual and did not get any special attention as it did not have anything special to attract immediate attention. At that time I thought FGII Co. was very much advanced and that they have sent a hard copy of the Insurance policy document!

                              The letter goes: quote:

                              However, on verification of our records, we have noted that you are eligible for 0% NCB, because of you have made a claim under your previous policy. (I don’t’ know what sort of English is this!)

                              Due to the above, we are unable to allow you the No claim bonus of 20%

                              What happens now?

                              The own damage cover section of your policy is not active. This means you can’t claim any damages to your vehicle till you activate your policy again.

                              How to activate your policy?

                              You need to first get your vehicle inspected by us by paying an inspection fee (approximately Rs 500). Once the inspection is satisfactory we shall confirm you to pay NCB recovery amount of Rs 851. For inspection you can do the following;
                              • Contact us. Our contact avenues are mentioned at the end of this document.
                              • Visit your(?) nearest branch. Please visit our website www.general.futuregenerali.in to know your nearest branch

                              Unquote:

                              It being a Sunday yesterday, I contacted them on one of the numbers given by them when they advised me to contact my Agent!

                              THEY COULD HAVE STATED THIS IN THEIR DOCUMENT.

                              I am disappointed with their unprofessional approach, attitude and behaviour.

                              Instead of sending me a poorly worded letter (which beat around the bush) they could have just made a phone call to me or send me a brief message!

                                I have availed Corona Rakshak policy plan for my parents in July 2020 looking at the difficult situations due to COVID 19 outbreak.

                                In September 2020, My father has been found Corona positive and his age is 64. So on the account of having heavy fever initially, high viral load and tremendous leg pain, we haven't take a chance and take the advice from doctor telephonically and been admitted in two days from COVID 19 positive report.

                                By God's grace, his health has been responded well to the medication provided in the hospital and got recovered soon.

                                Now when after that we put a claim for the Hospitalization, company had started for asking different details at different time. We have provided it all and now they are saying to clarify why Hospitalization is required.

                                Owing to that, how can one ascertain at the time when he found positive that whether this virus would cause more harm or not. If company had doubts about misuse of policy than they would not have to sell it from initial levels.

                                IRDA should look into this matter and in the interest of genuine people they should have to laid hefty penalty on the company so that they won't mis sell any product hence forth.

                                  My name is Saiyed Shahabuddin, I am owning a car Ford Figo DL12CB2272.
                                  I am not satisfied with their claim resolution as they haven’t covered right door as part of claim. But when I visited to their Noida 63 office surveyor said it is genuine case and should have covered in claims.
                                  Repair company also requested the same to the surveyor (Harmeet Singh) who visited first time to inspect my car.
                                  After first inspection I have asked them to provide itinerary but he didn’t provided and after delivering car I have noticed right door is still not good and raised it at the same time.

                                  I have written many emails to each concern person but no response at all.
                                  Future Generali customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                  Didn’t received any updates on this.
