Respected sir,
Myself rajesh todwal. I took 2 connections of independent tv before 3 months. As they were providing best quality channels, as told by local vendor. We paid 6500 to local vendor instead of actual price of rs.3998 for the 1 year subscription. The local vendor asked us to pay rs.6500 instead of 3998 and we paid the same. But then all went wrong star channels and utv channels were missing, then again they start few days back now from last 2-3 days all sports channels and all zee channels are missing. When we reached to customer care the line were all the time busy from last few days and same time we tried to local provider and they didn't give any satisfactory reply
Now we are in a very bad shape what to do and to whom will contact as we already paid the amount for a year

    Hello team,

    Bought independent dth back 4 months ago, since 3 days (3 may 2019), half of channels not working, customer id [protected], i am trying to customer care since 3 days but phone number is either busy or always show in queue, never picked by them. Really poorly managed customer care, no timely support and its like totally waste. Please help to get all channels mentioned in pack.

      Sir,
      I want to know about dth company indipendent tv, they stared in aug 2018 giving the 1 year free subscription of all channels, and being a local distributor we have invested in for the materials and made many customers for the company. For the past 5months it was working well. Problem started when the trai new rule applied, they removed many channels in the name of migration to the new rule. And recently star network was removed for 12 days and now zee channels are not available.
      And their customer care is not reachable.
      Since there is no clear communication from the company, customer questions us as we are the local dealers and they think they have been cheated by us..
      So i would request you kindly give information about the company and their plans, weather they will continue or they will stop in between.
      We have invested and costumers are paid for their subscription.

        Last 3 days independent has stopped broadcasting zee channels... For the same when i asked customer care they replied it will resume in 2 days and they are not ready registered a complaint even after 4 days... Today i got same reply again that wait for 2-3 days... And before few days star channel were stopped for 15-20 days.. And still not credit any benefits of that...
        I told customer care to register a complain but they refused to register and also take my 34 minutes on call
        Please take as action on this asap

          My dht s. N. [protected] is showing error code-6 since last six days. I have made complaint number of times to customer care, but till date the problem is not resolved, also the nodal officer mr. Vikash kappor is disconnecting the phone.

          Please take the necessary action and resolve the issue.

          Other wise collect your dth & refund my amount.

          Finally I have disconnected my 02 number Independent TV DTH connection and Installed Airtel DTH. I had complaint through email number of times but after 25 days has gone nobody from Independent TV responded and their customer care number is down from last 25 days.

          They are really fraud. Sale Kute ki aaulad band karo aapna DTH and aapni maa ..dao.

          Refund my amount otherwise I going to file a consumer case soon.

          Please dont buy independent TV.

            Independent tv persons are fraud. My set top box s no. [protected] was installed with prepayment of one year subscription. Since last 12 days i have been complaining at their toll free no that non of the channels being aired. The screen shows error 6 e-86 filter not sufficient. Every time their customer care centre person says that the problem will be resolved within 24 to 48 hours... But no response is done. I feeling have been cheated and this company is fraud company.

              Respected sir,
              Myself yogesh kumar. I took 1 connection of independent tv before 3 months. As they were providing best quality channels, as told by local vendor. We paid 4000 to local vendor instead of actual price of rs.2100 for the 1 year subscription. The local vendor asked us to pay rs.4000 instead of 2100 and we paid the same. But then all went wrong star channels and utv channels are missing i also say sports channels from sony networks are missing including ten 1 ten 2 ten 3 and discovery and wion news channels are missing. I asked the vendor to clarify the matter then he said it is company policy and we can do nothing. And big problem is that from approx 10.04.2019, no single channel is coming and there is error no 400 “signal not found”.
              When we call customer care they say they will fix it in 30 minutes or representative will fix within 24-48 hours and then nothing happens. I have called the customer care more than 50 times but all gone in vain. Please let me know if i can lodge complaint with police for forgery. They (Reliance) has set-up a system to loot the money from subscribers. Further my set up box was purchased by local vendor in the name of some other person, i came to know this when i called the customer care. I am missing all channels and facing issues from approx 10.04.2019 they are not helping so i demand refund of remaining 10 months. They are also not following trai new rules of customer to chose their channels as new framework. Also not providing any pack or channels to chose according to trai new rules. Further, the interesting thing is that "not for sale" is written on set-up box, then how reliance (Independent tv) is selling these boxes through their agents. A perfect system to loot the money of subscribers.

                  I paid a subscription fee for a year but no channel is coming now. If i select any channel, i am getting a response as error 200. I tried calling the customer care which is mentioned in the independent tv website but i am getting a response as number invalid. Worst customer support and no response to the email. If i am not getting the right service for what i paid. I am going to file a case against the independent tv in consumer court.

                    It’s been 3 weeks since all the channels stopped working. Error-6 e87 filter is not enough is the error which was displaying on the screen. Called hundreds of times to contact customer care. Also mailed the same multiple times, but no use. I got a new connection from local cable operator so that if any issue exists i can go talk to them face to face, than calling this worst company hundreds of times.

                    I am not sure if someone even looks into these complaints. But my suggestion to everyone that, please don’t ever make a mistake of buying independent tv connection.

                      This is with reference of complaint workorder no 1692711, and customer id [protected], which i have raised on 15th april regarding an error -6 due to which my connection was not working.

                      Initially when i have raised the complaint customer support executive told me that technician will visit with in 24 to 48 hrs so i waited almost 4 days but no one visit.

                      Then i called customer care and they assured me that they are raising the complaint on priority basis and said that issue will be resolve soon.

                      Again i waited for 2 days but there was no response.

                      Now everyday i am calling customer care and they are telling me the same line that wait for 24 hrs and technician will visit.

                      I talked to senior arun kumar srivastava on 30th april and he assured me 100 percent that technician will visit with in 24 hrs but no one visit.

                      Again i called today i. E on 1st may and akhilesh told me the same story and deny to transfer the call to senior and speaking very rudely and threatening me that he will disconnect the call.

                      Is this the sevice you are providing.
                      Your customer care experience is very pathetic and dont even bother to call back if call get disconnected. Never expected such poor services from big brand like reliance independent tv

                          I, rahul kumar giri, mob no. [protected], had taken a independent tv dth connection with freedom 1999 plan along with rs. 500/- advance booking charges and rs. 1500/- at the time of installation, customer id: [protected], which is free for a year at the time of connection they informed me it will be free for a year with all sd & hd channels (As per there website also) but firstly they stopped my hd channels and now they are slowly disconnecting my other non-hd premium channels without informing me. I also tried their customer care no. But unable to speak to any executive i visited their website where i found a notice that customer having freedom 1999 plan will be migrating to best fit plan. Please help how can they change any customer plan without any consent where customers had paid for a year in advance.

                          After trai introduced new regulations for tv broadcasters, independent tv reduced number of channels which were provided earlier. Like all english channels and many sports channels. Also customer care number [protected] is also not connecting. Also set box and password is unavailable.

                            The independent tv is not providing the services properly. Please do the needful.
                            There is no response from the team and consumer helpline.
                            Earlier they said that they will provide the all channels but after some time they just started removing channels now even star channels also is being removed which is basic pack and is available with all dth operators basic back.
                            I request you to please consider this on urgent basis
                            Dear Team, HD channel deactivated within 1 month, while 1 Year HD subscription was include in package kindly activate all 12 HD channel as soon as possible because you promised that facility at the time of booking.

                              I m a customer of independent tv and I have paid 2250 rs for the box and dish antenna.They said that I will get all channels for 1 year and free to air channels for five years without any extra charge.
                              But now it is removing all the channels rapidly. they removed all the star networks channel just ten days before. so i want money back and they can take back box antenna and cable, all are in new condition.
                              so please trai help me to get my money back i will be very thankful for you

                                I have purchased independent TV because of your good plan, But after a month all channels are removed from my BOX.

                                With Star group Independent TV is facing some legal problem and they are displaying a message for consumers that they will get their refund for the period of days star channels not worked.
                                But what will we do of that refund, we are unable to see the IPL matches right now.

                                    I have taken independent tv in oct 2018. I used to get almost all south channels. But later they removed sun network channels in dec. Later after trai new rule, they remove almost all south channels except some free news channels. Later from nov to till date i am begging to add south channels. I am ready to pay extra for the same. But nobody from customer care ready to add channels. Even i tried to add through their website n mobile app but not working. So i am not interested to continue with dth operator. I want refund of remaining amount and they can take back set top box n antenna.

                                      I vipul sagar from modinagar buy a independent tv setup box 2 months before and the company that time saying that we giving the set up box in 2250 with 1 year of all channels subscriptions with hd. Now they closed all the channels only few channels are provided by the company currently. On asking by the helpline they says that trai blocked all the channels. So why they are saying that all channels are free at the time of selling. Now i want all the channels or refund my full money and take back their setup. Otherwise i have to file a case against the independent tv.

                                        The independent tv has not giving proper services to their customers from last 2-3 weeks nearly 30-40 channels stopped by the independent tv and when i was calling after this problem their customer care number says it does not exits please check the number you have diled.
                                        Then on 25 april 2019 they promised that all the channels of star network will start on 26 april 2019 then at midnight they again said it is not possible to start these channels of star network. I have missed all the matches of ipl from last 2-3 weeks. While buying independent tv they have promised us to all paid channels will be free for 1 year now they are charging for those channels again.
                                        So my request is that independent tv should refund all money. Now i am not at all interested to use independent tv and as you (Trai) has authority should do something about it. Its humble request to you.
                                        Dear sir, i am a customer of independent tv but independent tv fraud/chit me, he has taken fees of one year but now he is regularly remove many channels to his platform, Also today show error 400, and not start all channels, only show Error 400. So Sir, I want to refund my amount and withdraw this poorest DTH service urgent basis.
