Independent tv launched freedom pack for rs 2250 for a year. Which promised total of 300 channels including 12 hd channels. I had opted for this pack for one year. But now all the hd channels have been removed. I have been migrated to a new mahabachat pack after the trai regulations changes. But according to trai regulations, customer should get to choose the channel or the pack should be continued without any changes to the channel list until the last plan lasts. But changes were made (Channels reduced drastically) without customer consent. Further, since all star channels are not available, due to technical reasons. No response from independent tv team, no one in customer service picking up phone. This is unfair business practice and the concerned authorities (Trai) should take necessary action.

Independent tv sold us their connection with attractive offers of 300 + channel (Sd + hd), within time span of 3 months they have removed all sd channels, star pack and nearly 50+ major channels.
So i consider this as fraud towards consumers. I've already contacted there customer care numerous time, but all in vein. All they have to say is that they can't refund money neither they can show channels as trai rules have changed.
I request refund of my entire amount of 2500 rs due to their involvement in the fraudulent activities. Wont recommend them to anyone.

I am pramod kushwaha i have purchased a connection with 2250 freedom package and was assured telecast of all channels including hd, english movies, sports, english entertainment and all hindi channels for full one year.

But all channels started vanishing one by one first hd than english chanals then one by one other now even star networks channels are blocked.

I think this is again another fraud in making. Either return my money or provide all promised service...

I am independent tv user since june 2018 as per plan they will provide all channels free of cast for 1 year but they have stop many channels in month of january. I have call customer care many time but they haven't responded. Now customer care no., nodal officer no and customer care all are unavailable/ fake.
They are doing customers mental harassment.

Sir/madam,
Star india channels have been removed from my independent tv without any notification. The bug is occurring from two days. All disconnected channels show, "channel temporarily unavailable. Will resume shortly." i tried many times to contact customer care of independent tv but they have very bad consumer service. They never pick up the call or holds up the call.

Kindly, look through the situation and make the channels back in our tv as soon as possible

Now they even cut the stars channel.. What should i suppose to do

We are facing a problem in many channels
I have purchased independent tv set top box in september 2018. At that time it was free of cost for one year from purchased. Now, some channels shows error 200 that you have not subscribed this channel. Star channels are not available they are showing technical problems. Like that many channels are not showing from a week we are facing this issue. Its not a minor problem, tata sky is showing all channels and independent set gets stuck. Now i am very dissapointed. Please provide my all channels as per subscription policy as early as possible. I want solution for this issue with immediate effect.

I opted for one year free channel program.
They promised all channels including hd.

After few months they blocked hd channel, then star channels and now sports channels.

Customer care number is unreachable.
Nodal officer number is unreachable.

There is no other medium to reach these people.

This is a very big scam they have executed. Please someone tell me. How can i get my money back.

I ordered for it in march 2018 and got it installed in december 2018... It worked nicely for 1 month but then some channels were not coming especially hd one... Then cartoon channels stopped and now all sports channel are unavailable. The number given by company is just irritating. There are no replies of the mails which i did. This is the # service a company can provide.. I am shocked that it belongs to mr. Ambani

I am from up, was told that i will be given all channels for 1 year but after 2 months all hd channels are removed and many movies channel sports channel and entertainment channels are removed
And we always face technical problems for 4 to 5 days
There is no customer care no. They doesn't pick up the call when we call to them.

Dear sir,
I purchased independent tv coonection in nov 2018 with a one years all channel subscription for which i paid...
But due to trai regulation s later.. My channels where reduced to very less... I talked to independent tv customer care and was firced to chose channel from their list...
I did that and accepted it as said.
It was a month ago..
But now again they have deleted all star channels for which i had subscribed...
They are giving a message of... Due to technical reason... Channel is closed...
I am unable to watch any of the star channels...
After number of calls and mails they are not responding...
Please help me out asap...

I m amar from nagpur. I booked independent t. V on december, 6 for rupees 1999 and they fit it on december, 30. And they said that it's free for one year. But unfortunately, now the star's packages have been discontinued and rest of the channels in between have been started pausing. And if we ring to the customer care they won't take any action and. If so, please take action in it.

Every now and then, i can see that channels are stopping, showing error 200, their promise of delivering all the channels in freedom pack is a fake promise by the team.
What ever has been agreed at the time of purchase has not been followed/delivered.
Kids channel/sports channel/english channel/movie channels and now star channels. Just name the channel its already stopped, with error 200/technical problem.
And there is not even a response from customer care, local service provider gives some technical # for the same, what a waste of money and worst customer support ever.

Ps:no proper or prior information has been provided before removing of channels, kindly take necessary actions on them.

My name is rajan sharma. I have purchased independent tv along with freedom pack for 1 year full subscription to all channels along with 12 hd channels but after 15 days only all hd channels and some channels like zoom, bindass and sports channels stopped. Independent contact numbers never works. After all these cheating they have stopped now whole star package and no one is responding. There distributors as well as nodal officers, compliance officers, every no is either off or not available. Independent must refund my rs. 2500/- along with compensation for such mental tortures. They said it all happened due to trai guidelines and ask to trai. My registred mobile no is [protected]
