I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Independent TV, a DTH service provider, for discontinuing services without providing any refund to customers, including myself, despite taking full subscription payments in advance.
I had subscribed to Independent TV services in the year[protected] and for a long-term plan. However, shortly after the subscription, the company abruptly stopped providing DTH services, citing technical or satellite issues. Despite several public assurances, the services were never restored, nor was any refund initiated.
Repeated attempts to contact their customer support failed as their helplines and website were eventually shut down. This has caused financial loss and inconvenience to me as a consumer.
Service Stopped On: mid of 2018-19
I kindly request you to:
Take necessary action against the company for unethical practices.
Help initiate the process of refund of the amount paid.
Ensure such malpractices are discouraged and penalized.
I am enclosing relevant documents such as payment proof, ID details, and any communication I had with the service provider.
