My fresh passport printed and booked through speed post by passport office delhi on 11th august 2018. The destination is reliance greens, moti khavdi, jamnagar, gujarat. The latest tracking update it shows is on 13th august 4.49am that the bag is dispatched from ahmedabad rms to nsh rajkot. Today is 18th morning, and the tracking has not been updated yet. I called rajkot nsh, they told they have no pending dispatches from their end. I called jamnagar rms, they told they also do not have pending dispatches as well. I contacted reliance greens sub post office, they told they haven't received my passport. Meaning it is stuck somewhere in between. I called india post toll free number and the lady insisted to wait and told that all that she can do is track the consignment on the website, which even a child can do!
What if my passport is lost? Rajkot nsh employee told that their internet is not working and so status won't be updated.
I lodged a complaint on indiapost website with complaint number [protected] and the status for the same is "pending" since last two days.

I demand that if post office confirms that my package is lost, the passport service department of india should issue me a fresh new passport with new file number and new passport number free of cost, as i didn't lose my passport, postal department did.
I also demand that given the pathetic service of speed post employees, my new passport shall be sent via a private courier company. I won't prefer speed post now because there is a high probability that post office will mishandle the package this time as well.
India Post customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
