    I have been told by Paikpara post office, Kolkata, West Bengal that it will take 6-7 working days to open a savings account. I am working in a private organization and have been facing hardship continously since more than one year. As I stay out of Kolkata most of the time it is not possible for me to visit the post office 3-4 times to open an account. However I am forced to open an account in post office as I have to encash my National Savings Certificate (NSC). I feel like I have committed a crime by investing in NSC and hence have discontinued with investing in NSC and am using other tax saving investments.

    I am making this complain with the hope that the matter will be taken up and the other citizens of this country is not harassed by the postal department for opening an account. .

      They are not taking any post after 1 pm noon . post office working time is up to 5 pm . Saturday I visited to post office Joura Branch at 12:40 pm they refused to take post by saying we are working up to 12:30 pm on Saturday, next day was Sunday following Monday (Eid holiday ) Wednesday (28/06/2017) I visited post office again at 1:15 pm then again refused to accept my post by saying up to 1 pm we are accepting posts even they are not agree to take entry on system. they don't want to work .

        Dear sir,

        I am expecting a parcel from india to estonia, that was sent on 9th of june. On 10th june it was bagged in delhi exchange office and has been in transit since then. It is june 17th now and i need the parcel to be delivered latest. It is extremely important that the parcel is delivered on time. The person who sent a parcel said that it should have already reached its final destination.

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        Myself Ranjan Nandi on 09.06.2017 16:34 I was EMS speed post(EW[protected]IN) American Express card to my brother Chandan Nandi (Jarveotsa Tee, 9/56, Tallinn, Estonia, Pin-13520, Ph.- ‎+[protected] but still yet he didn’t receive and he went to nearest post off to Tallinn. They told him that “the courier presale they didn’t receive still yet” try to complaint regarding this where the item was received. We cannot take a complaint on that.
        As well as I already complaint regarding this on 28.06.2017 in Kolkata G.P.O. (ID-[protected]/ [protected]) and India Post Complaint Status Update [ID: 1613807] / India Post Complaint Status Update [ID:1611356]

        So, it’s my humble request to you please look on this matter & resolve urgent basis. He is waiting for the courier presale. Please go through attachment

          Parcel had been sent to me from shimla, hp which was received by the post office at pune (Aundh camp post office, 411027). The postman had come home and i was in the washroom. By the time i went to open the door, the postman had put an intimation slip to collect my parcel from the post office without any contact details. I was away for a week and could not collect the parcel. I had tried calling the number available on the internet ample amount of times but could not connect.

          On enquiry after 10 days it was found that the parcel was not sent back (It was written on intimation slip that parcel will be sent back after 5 days).

          Yesterday i had gone to the post office with the intimation slip to which the official replied that they cannot help me without the tracking number though i had the intimation slip number. I requested them to re-send the parcel but they said collect it in the morning if as the postman shall know where the parcel is, as they could not locate it.

            I was send a parcel through india speed post service in 21/06/17 from regent park s. O 700040, my consignment no is ew[protected]in it was worth rs 3000 but when my father received it was totally empty i lost my product, somebody cut on the knife and repackaging as like same.in the booking time the person has booked the item he was ask me what is inside and i tell them am sure he is surely involved them plz help me

                Kulgaon post office pin 421503 is not delivering mail and other postal goods since dec 2016. It is learned by senders that they are receiving the stuff back which they sent to me or my family. It affects me a great loss. Previously i had complained to superior authority the same in writing and they assured me proper service in future, but things remain the same. Please do the needful.

                    I booked my parcel no.[protected]in from aizawl to greater noida on 16/06/17, according to the tracking updates it reached the destination knowledge park iso on 19/06/17, i was at home the whole day and no postman came that day. I waited the next whole day but no postman on that day too so i went myself to the post office on dt 21/06/17, asked for my parcel and showed my tracking details too, they also tracked by themselves and told me it was already sent back the previous day, i. E 20/06/2017 due to unclaimed address, i was really sad as im leaving the given destination address very soon. I called my area in-charge postman and he told me there's no parcel from mizoram these days and he'll call me as soon as he received. Its already 9 days and the tracking updates stopped on 20/06/17. I tried lodging a complaint from india post website but could'nt succeed. Im still confuse how a parcel was sent back the next day it reached the destination post office but whatever, this is not the first time too and im not gonna keep silent anymore if the post office cannot solve my problems.

                      I booked my parcel from lucknow at mahagar nagar so to brazil at[protected] consignment number is cu[protected]in.. But till today i m not getting any tracking update, i also called to international costumer care. They said that your parcel is not dispatched yet from mahanagar post office (Lucknow).. I also did complaint at 1924 complaint no. [protected].. But in this complaint i got update my parcel is bagged for delhi foreign post office at 14-6-17.. But i did not getting any tracking update. I also gone to mahanagar post office. They are saying we dispatched same day.. I also sent one parcel in march that one one arrived in brazil in 16 days only.. But in this in 13 days i m not getting any tracking update.

                      Plz help me sir..

                          Po. Nayasarai distict hoogly pin code-712513. They denied to receive the material for speed post. Please tell me why it is going on??? This system should be changed for this type of harassment. I am requesting to get the best result. All of local peoples are suffering from this type of fatigue. They are not doing there service. We are very unhappy. Staffs are taking with the comsumers very rudely.

                            I have posted two letters by regd ad on 7th june 2017. As per yr track report, these letters have been delivered to the parties - 1) vijay sales, r city mall, ghatkopar and 2) m/s. L. G. Electronics india pvt. Ltd., a wing (3rd floor), d=3 district centre, saket, new delhi 110 017. Registered a. D. Cards have not been received by me till date. This matter relates to the complaint filed in the consumer court regarding faulty refrigerator sold by l. G. Electronics thru vijay sales, ghatkopar. These ad cards are proof to the complaint lodged. These two companies had not sent ad cards earlier also and were received only after filing written complaint to kurla north post office. Kurla north post office is cooperating to send these ad cards to me.

                                At around 2.20 pm today, postman on duty in lakshmi nagar delhi -92 came to deliver two passports, one in my name and another in my husband's name. Shamefully, he demanded rs 500/- for two passports. My husband who is at home due to illness denied but the postman shamefully said he will take it back if money not paid and we will have to appear in the head post office to claim it. He threatened that he will destroy the passports which will leave us running pillar to post for claiming it. Ultimately my husband had to give him rs. 500/- to get the passports.

                                What kind of system is this? Is it like a lottery or a jack pot for which the post man is obliging us so demanding cash for delivery?

                                  I have purchase (9) nos of nscertificates with reg no 3782 dt 19.04.2012 @ shankarapurm p. O,. Now iam residing in hyderabad. So after maturity i have submitted my claim @khairatabad hpo and requested for payment on 06.05.2017. But even after lapse of 45 days the matured amount not paid to me. Hence i request you sir to enquire the matter and take action on the concerned employees responsible for the delay. I also request that the matirity amount will be paid to me along with interest immediately without any further deay.

                                    We have booked one article on 03 jun 2019 from meerut ganganagar post office, (Booking reference eu[protected]in)

                                    On being enquiry from post office reply, we are only booking agency, rest all enquiry from main post office,

                                    If an article is booked on 03 jun and till 21 jun no one knows where is article,

                                    What is sla time to delivery the item/ article mentioned in your service,

                                    Service attitude is disgraceful.

                                    Team/ person responsible must be made responsible and accountable

                                    This is third time such incident.

                                    Please let me know who is to be held responsible for the loss and mental harassment

                                      We were in shimla post office and asked for some stamps for postcards to new zealand. Two male post office officials took us to another room and told us to pay 150 rupees for each stamp. The stamps were 15 rupees each. We said 150 rupees was wrong, but they yelled at us and said we must pay 150 rupees for 10 stamps each. We were scared as we were in a room away from other customers and had no choice, but to pay. We did not expect this type of treatment from a officials working in a post office. Shocking and frightening.
