DHL is holding my package and charging 41% duty. The package contains an item I lost on the plane. The London Heathrow lost-and-found department is shipping it, so it is not a new item. It is the phone that I am using. When we provided all the documents, they are asking us to come to Mumbai to pick it up despite I paid over $190 for shipping....

I am extremely disappointed with the way how DHL has handled this shipment so far and, sadly this is not sorted out since past 3 days.

None of your agents have shown any accountability whenever I reached out to enquire the status, and I have been provided conflicting status updates by multiple people.

I have been getting calls from KYC team asking for KYC documents for shipment [protected] where in they state that the address proof should carry the delivery address as in the shipment. I am in a government institute where the delivery address carries my building name and room number to which the kyc team asks for PAN card and aadhaar card. Hello, I had ordered a winshield (the small piece of plexiglass over headlight) also known as a Visor from EBAY.COM
The item was shipped on 23-7-22 from Thailand and Landed in Bangalore 3 days later and was to be delivered to me in Hyderabad by 28-7-22. But it did not reach me. The tracking showed 'Clearence Event' at customs in Bangalore. On 5-8-22 I get a text message on phone that I have to customs duty.

I was repeatedly asked for documents which I submitted, all of them.
I have written numerous mails.

The package is shuttling between AHMEDABAD and DELHI instead of moving to destination. It has been 20 days.

The amount paid for shipment is large, I don't expect so un-professional service...

Price of our lovely DHL express shipping - 58.7 USD = 4406 INR
The product was in custom clearance event for 6 days in which they asked me few documents on first day which i gave on the same day
then after 5 days asked one more document which i gave on the next day
Now after 6 long days i get an email which says pay 3710 INR as custom Dutybr...

The material was required urgently and hence booked on 24.11.2021 and reached on 27.11.2021 by express mode.

The KYC team of DHL did not specify any documents required and mentioned that KYC was to be completed.

Every time we called them, they asked for new documents and the process was held up for 3 days.
