dear sir,
on jan 29 2009 i sent my friend's certificates through registered post to oklahoma city from hyderabd..the registration number is RR[protected].but my friend did not receive it.when i went to post office and asked them whether they can give the status of the parcel i.e to which post office it will be sent in oklahoma city so that my friend can collect it by hand, they said that they cant tell and asked to lodge complaint only after a month.i badly need to know to which post office will it be sent in oklahoma city.can u give me that address.

I had enquired to the above address after 2-3 weeks. The company confirmed that they have not received any Registered letter. I had enclosed important precious documents within the letter.

Later I enquired in Milagres Post Office, Hampankatta, Mangalore - 575001. The concerned staff told me to write a written complaint to the Post Master and told that he will call back about the status of the Registered letter. I asked the staff when would I get the response. She was acting rather irresponsibly and told that it is difficult to know when they would reply. Seeing her reaction, I asked the office contact Number and they gave me their contact number as[protected].

I gave the written complaint on 13/2/2009. Till 20/2/2009, there was no response. When I called the Post Master on 20/2/2009 at[protected] and enquired about the status of the letter. He acted very rashly and irresponsibly. He told that the International Registered Letter cannot be traced. I pleaded him very much that it contains important documents. He behaved rashly as if I am working under him. He was lecturing me "Why do you send important documents to the bogus companies? I am helpless. I can't help you. The registered letter could not be traced." Then I asked "Should I presume...???" At that time without waiting for my reply, he disconnected the call.

I am telling you about the state of Post Office in Milagres Centre, Mangalore and the way they behave towards their consumers. The corrupt action of postal staff could be summarized as follows:
1. International Registered letter not being sent to the concerned address.
2. Careless Reply of the lady staff as to the problem could be solved or not depending on the mood of the post master after committing mistake of non-delivery of the letter due to their sheer irresponsibility. I as a consumer had to bear this punishment of worrying about the important document within the Registered letter.
3. Non response of the Post Master after complaining about the problem in the written letter.
4. Behaving rashly and irresponsibly, lecturing me about the unrelated personal matter to him of sending the Registered letter to the bogus company.
5. Disconnecting the phone without hearing and solving the problem being the Responsible person of that post Office. It is as if the beggar comes to the house to ask something, the door is shut off in front of their face. Are consumers "Beggars" for Post Officials and Staff???

Post Office is the government property. Government property means it is related to people and it is for the people, by the people. Whatever salary the post office pupils feed their stomach and their childrens, the pride that Post master executes as if he is everybody's boss and all are beggars in front of him are by the people or consumer's money. He is responsible for every deed that is happening in his post office. He and the other staff are Government Servants, he and other staffs are eating and living on our money and is not vice versa as to be a boss of the people and, lecturing them about unrelated matter not pertaining to him, make or treat people or consumers as servants or beggars.

Please, regard this complaint in your personal interest. I am not addressing this complaint to the whole of the Indian Post Office nor have I lost faith in Indian postal services. This is the issue of one post Office in Milagres Centre, Hampankatta, Mangalore - 575001 which is rotten in its service and spreads its rotteness to the whole system of Post Office. Like the verse goes "If there is one rotten mango, it will rotten all other good mangoes" and the days are not far when the people lose faith in the whole system of Post Office if these people spread their rotteness.

I am also going through same experience...my parents sent me register ad post(FGANAIRPRLADA238) from gujarat india whcih contains original birth certi and other imp docs on April 6th 2009 till date i did not received them nor satisfactory answer fro inidan post. please advice if there is any other way to tract this post.

Complaint against Head Clerk:
I had recently shifted from Rajouri Garden N.Delhi to Gurgaon.We have to close all the respective accounts in Delhi Post office.But the head clerk there is so rude. He doesnt have fear of anyone.He openly says you can complain any one he will work like that only. Just to give money he says come next day even during the transaction hours of 1:30 to 2:00. Its very difficult to travel back 30km again.

Important documents sent from various offices are not received for the past months. Dear Sir,

Receipt a packet through your postman on date 16.02.09 that was completely intact condition. This packed was sent on 10.02.09 from Mayo post office Ajmer and sender Mr. Navin kumar sinha was sent the dress material for my family. I became surprise when open this packet one T shirt, one set of salwar kameez and one set of dress material of six month kid were not in packet .All the product was manufactured by branded company. Thief has compensated the packet weight by adding three newly addition magazine & some old clothes. This magazine is very uncommon (Steel insight, volume III, issue III 10Feb 09 Kolkatta) and it is not possible to get locally. Such magazine is distributed to end user through post office and they have taken from there. Definitely this magazine has been delivered as short supply to customer and shortage has come in your notice. Complete circumstances indicate that material has been misplaced during transit. Lost material cost is around Rs 3000.

I lodge my complaint against the stolen material and demand the compensation from postal department for your carelessness. I believe, such incident is sufficient for losing customer confidence from your organisation.

I hope you will take up this issue as on priority and try to find out that person who is defaming your organisation name.

A sum of Rs.1000/- was sent to me by Speed Post Money Order (EN[protected]IN) to my address (St. Thomas Mount Post Office) at Chennai by my father from Hyderabad (Malakpet Post Office) on 09.04.2008. But, till date, I have not received the payment. When my father contacted Malakpet Post Office, he was informed that they are looking after the matter and payment will be made after verification at the St. Thomas Mount Post Office, Chennai. In the meantime, yesterday my father got a letter from the Postal Department, Hyderabad, that payment has already been made. I am shocked to see the letter. I think some misuse of funds has happened in this case. Please advice me properly.

I am a Civil Engineer, Approved Builder & Surveyor. I am doing construction works for all the leading Oil Companies like Bharath Petroleum Corporation, Indian Oil Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and for many other corporate entities. Also I have been registered under TNVAT, Service Tax, Sales Tax and SSI. I am an income tax assessee paying income tax regularly, having an annual turnover of about Rs.45, 00, 000/- per year.
I am having the above current account for the past ten months. While opening my Current Account in the said S.M.E. Branch, Palanganatham, Madurai – 625 003, the staff and the officials of the branch more convinced me that the branch is specially meant for business promotion and shall encourage entrepreneurs like me. On satisfaction, I too have been my banking with the said branch.
In the meanwhile, by my representation dated 2nd June 2008, I approached the manager of the said branch for sanctioning of Business Loan and Cash Credit Facility for me. On satisfaction of my business and the banking transaction, the officials of the branch asked me to produce my I.T. Papers, Projected Accounts etc. After furnishing the same, further I was asked to mortgage a property as a collateral security and to obtain Legal Opinion from Sri. M. Ramanathan, the Panel Advocate for the Bank. Accordingly I submitted necessary documents for the perusal of the said panel advocate and got a positive legal opinion from him.
From 4th September 2008 onwards, daily I had been approaching the Manager of the said branch, along with the said Legal Opinion and other papers. I was asked to approach and convince each and every single staff of the branch. Even after completing the same I was once again directed to every pillar to post. Finally, on 14th Oct. 2008, I approached the manager of the said branch with all my credentials, I.T. Papers, Property Documents along with the said Legal Opinion.
To my shock and surprise, refusing to go into the file, all my papers were thrown out of the table. In an impolite tone, I was told that the bank was not meant for petty builders like me. Even after the scandal verbal attack on me, I tried to convince and put forth my case. Despite, nearly I was sent up forcibly with an advice not to dare again.
I hope like every branch, the branch in question would have given various business loans and Cash Credit Facility for a number of its customers. Like others I am also a customer doing genuine business, having remarkable turnover; having regular banking and ready to give valid and valuable property for collateral security. In such a circumstance, I don’t know, why I was humiliated and for what reason my request was refused even without taking for consideration.
I submit that, I am not at all a person to write such letter like this. At my level, I am entrepreneur, doing genuine business for considerable period of time, having remarkable turnover, profit and having property for collateral security.
Kindly go into the matter, enquire into the same and do the needful.

[protected]@vacationsgateway.com.co ) the contact person was Mr. Anil Sagir. He informed me that I am one of their selected memebers who won the assured gift from their company. As i am booking tickets regularly from irctc they have selected me. He also told me that they were one of the approved payment gateway company of Indian Railway. He asked me to pay Rs. 7799 and collect their assured gift of Sony Xperia Tab Z2 which will come around Rs. 35000 in the open market. They also convinced me telling other stories that they are ISO certified company and once the payment is received, their courier agent will contact you and send me the assure gift and given some of the names from kerala who has also won these assured gifts.

After getting the payment from me they have not contacted for 2 days but i regularly contacted them but they are not taking the phone and after 2 days a confirmation call received. I have not agreed their confirmation call as they informed that this is not an assured gift and this is only referral gift. Now we are getting only gift voucher and sony xperia tab.

After collecting the money they have given me a bill too but in the bill it is written that this is a gift voucher which i have not accepted.

On[protected], i have received a courier from their side which is only an application.

Kindly do necessary step to reimburse the money.

I am also trying to track my speed post status on website as it is demading login id and password. I think the postal department is on the way of corruption in other departments as they have made it impossible for general public to have the status of their speed post on web and also get the money/commission from the service providers if we try through SMS. I have also tried through SMS but it is also not working.

0n 7th sep 2009 both o[censored]s send a registered documements to nsdl pan services office. till today it is not reached at the above office. regd no - 1548 -jamsed ali khan. from raigram post office via satgachia burdwan 713422. if the two documents do not reach within 13 days from the date of registration our pan card application will be canclled. then who will be responsible? why indian postal service is so much slow we cant understand. if it is not reach timelly how will we do transaction with indian post office. it seems to me a shameful event of indian post office. please deliverour documents
within days time. otherwise every wii be lost. we hope indian post will take the matter seriously. thanks and regards

Document — Registered post not received

Hi,

According to the postal personals, the registered post was supposed to reach Britain,CT,USA in 15 days. I posted documents on 24h Sep 2009. Attached screen shot of the receipt. Its been more than 25 days and the receiver has not received the documents yet. Please provide update as its urgent because the deadline for document submission is passing away for me.

I have sent a "Registred post with acknowledgement" from KOLKATA (jorasanko po) to ichapur kadamtala (howrah) on 26.10.09. The receipt no of this post is RLAD A 1356. But we have not received back A/d of this registered post. Kindly do positive because I had sent very urgent document. I am very worried.

I am Nripendra Biswas, an un happy shipper from USA to India. It is so sad and shame for the country (India) that when we ship something by paying our hard working money to our loved once from different country and they never receive it. It is hard to believe that people in our country are still greedy they failed to fight over their moral and ethicks. Specially we can't depend even the GOVt service like "Indian Govt Postal Sevice" What a shame for India! I have sent a package with the priority mail service from USA, it is been 8 months, receiver Somunen Biswas never Received it. This is the tracking# LC[protected]US . Shipment activity is bellow un changed and will remain same. What a painful experinece? Shame!!! India Shame!!!
