India Post — Delay in courier delivery

I had sent a courier to Bermuda through India post- speed post with a verbal assurance from the office at the post office that the parcel will be delivered within 8-9 days. I paid an amount of around Rs. 700. The status shows it is at KOL AP TMO from the past 9 days. Please i humbly request you to look into the matter and deliver the parcel as soon as possible. We choose India post with a trust that it will deliver the courier within the given time but if it will delay like this then how will our expectations meet.
