India Post — Item delivered has not been delivered

A package that was to be delivered to me on 22nd January has not yet been delivered, even though the delivery notification says "Item Delivery Confirmed". I called up the Customer Care several times, and once I was told the package was only delivered to the post office on the 22nd of January and was provided with a wrong number of a retired delivery man. Neither my house nor my apartment guard received any package. Where is my package?

I found out from my Apartment Main Tower and Maintenance that a postmaster named Vishal delivered packages to other towers but not my tower and still reported that he delivered my package to my doorstep. His name is Vishal and his number is [protected],
