India Post — Item delivery is said to be confirmed but the item is not delivered

The tracking status shows that the item delivery has been confirmed. A message was also received that the package was delivered by Amrit Deka from Ulubari S.O. But the recipient never got the package. There was a phone number of recipient provided on the label & yet nobody received a call.
