India Post — Maturity proceeds of 5-year recurring deposit yet to be received

My 5 - year recurring deposit with Phoolbagan Post Office, Kolkata - 700054 matured on 19.01.2016 and when I was about to file the claim for maturity proceeds, I was told by my Agent that I need to open a Savings Account with Post Office to get the maturity amount. Prior to this there was never any intimation from either the Post Office or the Post Office Agent. Thereafter I have visited the Post Office n number of times only to face harassment on grounds like CBS, Computer not working, new account opening suspended for a month and blah blah. I am yet to get the amount even after almost 5 months.
Where shall I go now?
