India Post — non delivery of registered post to canada

My parcel with educational documents to be sent to wes canada is stuck at chennai office sorting office from 7 november there has been no update at all on the package post 7th november. What is the reason and when will the package be delivered?
The same package was sent from mg university on 4th of november. What can be done to expedite the delivery? Who is the right point of contact? (Registered post :rl[protected]in)
