India Post — rude behavior and excessive charges

I had a very very bad experience today visiting manikonda so india post with the person sitting in the ems booking counter.

I go regularly to the same post office for many months to give parcels. This is 1st time i saw this particular staff in ems counter, he is a very rude, irresponsible and doesnt have any respect for customers.

I have been using india post regularly for all my business couriers but i have not had any staff in india post behave so rudely untill today on top of the making mistakes in booking. I dont think any customer will want service from india post if they are overcharged due to careless ness and spoken to so rudely.

1. I had 8 parcels. But the counter person said he will not do more than 5 parcels per day per person, and if i have to do balance 3 i have bring someone else to book it. At the time i went 10 am there were no other customer waiting for ems booking still he said he will not book.

2. He will not book any parcels to mumbai or delhi. I told no problem if there is delay, plz book. But he said no i will not book. And rudely said, you can go to the gpo if you want to give more than 5 parcels or come back tomorrow with balance. I dont understand does customers time have no value that too when the counter is empty other than me?

3. I gave 5 parcels and then he entered weight of parcels as he liked without putting weight each and entered every parcel at 120-130 grams each when the parcels were only 35-40 grams. Less than 50gms is rs 41.3/- per parcel. But because of wrong weights he charged rs 70.8/-

4. After he generated receipt only i could see and i asked him why he put such incorrect weights and charged me extra. For that he rudely said i put correct weight, i know what i am doing. I had to request repeatedly to another staff in same post office to help me and check, there is a mistake and ems staff is not checking. Only when second staff came the ems booking staff put the parcels on the scales again arrogantly saying i will show i have done correctly. And to his shock all the weights were wrong. Only then he said he did not weight each parcel.

5. Even after that he spoke very rude and said he cant do anything, mistake happened it is your problem. What is booked and paid is paid. I have never seen anyone speak in such arrogant voice when he made the mistake. He did not even appologise for the mistake and spoke like he has no responsibility for what he does.

plz see for all the following tracking ID's weight is put excess 120gms to 140grams where the actual package weight will not cross 40-50grams
