i received a sms from[protected] on my cell no [protected] stating "thanks 4 using wap subsription services.your total cost is rs 10".i had never subscribed to any services.i fail to understand the reason for the same.after a few minutes i received a link to a wallpaper download,which i did'nt download.i called up my cell customer care number,they directed me to ur website.i was not able to get a link to unsubsribe the same from ur website.I WISH TO UNSUBSRIBE ,FROM THIS SERVICE & get my refund.

    I was contacted by the representative at India-Times on Feb02-2010 for the card which I accepted with the offer on the following grounds:-

    1. The card is accepted at all malls such as Big Bazaar, Reliance and other outlets where major Grocery items can be purchased. I specifically agreed for the card for the fact that I can utilize at Big Bazaar where my major purchases happen.

    2. I have received gift vouchers which has printed stating 31st Dec 2010 is the last date, I have received the card only on March 06, 2010. I was told by the representative that the vouchers are valid for a year from the date of receipt.

    On the above grounds, I spoke to the representatives at Diners Club and also the Representative at India-times and haven’t received any resolution to the above.

    They lure the customers by giving them wrong product information.

    Is it possible to get a resolution at the earliest.

      Dear Sir,
      I have placed an order for "Black Barry Curve" mobile online on 10/04/2010.For same I have made online payment of Rs.14395 through my ICICI Bank card with reference no.[protected].On same date their executive informed me that the product will get delivered within 2 working days without any extra charge. But it never happened. When I called up their customer care once again after two days I was informed that it will take two days to process and verification of order and then it will take 7 more days to deliver the order. On 16th April I got a mail that you have dispatched the thing to my address but in this mail I was not given courier detail which would have helped me to trace the parcel. When one of my Colleague contacted you, He was told that courier office is near to our office and was suggested to collect the same from courier office. But when we reached courier office, we were asked to pay Rs.800(Eight hundred )as octroi charge which we denied to pay as I was told that no extra charge(Such as courier an octroi) i have to pay.
      When I called their customer care regarding issueon 19th April, I was informed that wrong message was convayed to me and it takes 10 working days to deliver the thing.They also told me to pay octroi charges and the same will be refunded afterwards but I disagreed .I requested them to ask courer person to deliver the thing and bill the octroi charges to them as they were asking me to pay and the same will be reimbursed afterwards.They also informed me that they will look into matter and get the matter solved at the earliest.Same day I have sent a written complaint regarding the subject but no satisfactory reply.I sent them a reminder but they are replying with same quote"We request you to allow 7 working days to resolve the issue.We regret the inconvenience caused to you in this regard and sincerely apologize for the same.We thank you for your time and patience. We value you as our customer and your satisfaction is of most important to us" again and again.They are not at all updating me the progress of issue instead every time they are asking to spare 7 more working days.There is no satisfactory reply from customer care centre too.
      Sir, when their office person is giving wrong information then to whom shall we trust.We assume that any person who is replying from their customer care has complete knowledge of their rule and regulation and expect proper information.Please look into matter and instruct them to deliver the thing for which I have alredy made 100% advance payment.

        I also sent few compalint mails regarding this issue to them, but no steps have been taken yet or been contacted to solve out the matter.

            I purchased my two pieces of 8 GB Spy pen Camera on 14 Nov.2009 online Indiatimes Shopping they send me defective product then I complaint in customer care so a executive provide me a address and suggest me to send back that product to by courier on that address, and they will replaced my product within 10 days but they send me that product on 2th Feb 2010, but that product was also defective, I again call in customer care and again they provide me same address and suggest me to send back that product by courier on that address , and promise me to replace my product within 10 days, I again send back that product on 4th Feb 2010 but till today when I call in customer care every time executive says that you will receive your product within 10 days but till today I did not get my product.

            placed order on www.naaptol.com for SPY PEN CAM we got the placed on 14th of Aug.From the day 1 onwards I got a defective pcs .From 16th of Aug I started complaining regarding the defective product on the customer care contact number.The executives from there registering the complaint & returning the defective product within 7 Days. but there was no contact from there side for long time near about 27 days.Then I call continuously to cust care but nobody pick my No. .I am very harassed with the situation.
            my order no.101133. Defective product(Spy pen) already returned through courrier. Got its confirmation . For last 2 month, they have failed to exchange the product inspite their false assurances through their sms sent to me. I am being compelled to file a case in consumer court or take up the matter with media of their cheating and fraud to the innocent customer.

                I bought 4 spy cam pens 2 4gb and 2 8 gb all worth 5000 through Indiatimes,
                The sleer Technix sent me 4 pens but all of them are not working.

                I talked wiht wh customer care, they asked me to send them abck and said they will repalce the 4 pens.

                The sller sent back teh same 4 pens to me wihtout any chnage

                I returnd back tehm to the seller and called ther customer care.

                They assured me that they will refund the enite amoutn and i have still not received teh amount, It is almost all 6 months now

                Please help me in getting the refund.

                    I purchased Reliance NETCONNECT data card (Rs.2950+Rs.150) in August 2007. They gave HUAWEI Mobile COnnect kit . They said its download speed is 230.4 kbps, In early i got download rate 15 kbps , but after november 1st week its speed goes very slow. Last one month i got speed below 5 kbps and sometimes 1 kbps at the time i got frustration. I hate this service .
                    Some people said HUAWEI is not supported to Windows-XP.

                    really nonsense card, no body shud buy this....feel like throwing it to the dust bin..if you really have patience then go for it.
                    Reliance netconnect is pathetic. When I bought the new card the speed was about 16 - 17 KBps but after only a month the speed has come down to 2-3 KBps. The slow speed is visible even during the dns lookup. The modem keeps disconnecting every now and then and the speed is never consistent. If you try to book a flight or railway ticket you never know when it will timeout. Even to sign into google talk you have to wait more then 5 minutes. The only workaround during emergencies is to disconnect and reconnect that is when you will get a speed of 4-5 kbps for some time. After that the speed is 0.039. Even that could be because the system might be trying to send an ICMP query to keep the connection alive. Simply speaking the connection just drops dead after few minutes. So if you want to surf connect and again reconnect after every 4-5 minutes. Never buy netconnect.. its totally crap. I will patch my netconnect ZTE MG 880 modem to activate RUIM and change ESN so that I can use BSNL on it.
                    I bought reliance netconnect service and a modem ZTE 880 for Rs. 2700/- The service is bad. you need netbooster to speedup and you loose connectivity in few minutes. its frustrating. I hope even Mr. Ambani is facing the same problem if not he must be using some other operators service. I am on the Rs. 650/- 1 GB download scheme and i can download only if the service is even satisfactory. Can we get our Monry back and can we sue the company for the wrong advertise it shows for the service. I have complained at the call centre and their answer is "the are you are in has a congeston problem, we are aware of it and will be rectifying it asap." While giving the modem reliance must give a list of areas in which they aware of the congestion. What should i do please advice ?

                    Agree that Reliance is horrible. I wanted a change from Airtel mobile office which was getting worse, but Reliance beats all in pathetic service. I bought the ZTE USB modem for Rs.2500, a prepaid scheme on 5th with 6 months validity for Rs. 220 and a month's unlimited package for Rs.1501. (Total = Rs. 4221).
                    i) The validity shown is 2nd, 6 months later, instead of 4th.
                    ii) It started working after many calls to Web World and Customer Care(lessness) after 2 days.
                    iii) ZTE MG 880 connects at 28.8kbps and I get speeds between 8kbps to 24kbpsm against 144kbps claimed. Airtel MO gave better speeds at 1/4th the price!
                    iv) ZTE is pathetic, as is Reliance; I wish India moved with better companies for quality than Chinese companies for cheap products!

                    I purchased two Reliance NETCONNECT data card at the cost of Rs. 2950 and monthly charges of Rs.730 but after some month the service was very poor so I decided to terminate one. I wrote an application along with ID Proof and the paid receipt for termination. In the month of December 2008 I have paid the November bill of Rs. 750 and even though I didn’t use in the month of December yet I’ve paid Rs.730 for the month of December 2008. Then, the problem started in the month of January 2009 again I’ve received both the bills of the data card. I complain to the customer care that I already terminate one data card then they told me I have to deal with the local Reliance Web world. I went there show the Xerox copy of my letter and the receipt. They said it’s done, and now it’s March 2009 and I receive both bills again.                     I had ordered for a Radio control russian millitary jeep and received a different item alltogether. I had raised many complaint with the their customer support without any response. It also does not have a charger or adapter as stated in website. The delivered item is cheaper by 300/- rs when compared with original ordered item.
                    I purchased Reliance Huwaii EC121 data card in April, 2009. The speed was good for first month but after that speed is pathetic. Whenever, I need it the most the speed goes below 5KBPS as compare to the normal 17KBPS. I have called up customer care so many times but no satisfactory response. I feel myself trapped as I have already spent Rs. 3900.00 (3200+700/m). Would request to Reliance Techical deptt to have a look into these issues else they would lose their customer base to popular Tata Photon+.

                    Reliance Netconnect — no customer care, they have only seller care

                    I had reliance postpaid connection with USB Modem 3.1 Mbps (speed). From the date of purchase i am facing the problem with speed (0.01 kbps - 20 kbps) most of the time and frequent disconnection. I complaint the same to customer care after a day. From that day, I have to spend daily 1 hour on customer care explaining above problem again and again. After 10 day they sent the bill of 7, 000 and disconnect the connection without prior information.

                    They have no customer care at all, it's better to say they have only seller care there. No body is listening and trying to solve the problem. I strongly suggest no to go with this service provider.

                    I had spent more than 24 hours on customer care on that. Even though it's not resolved. Now They are telling that, I have to pay the bill first after that only they are going to solve the problem.

                    I want to solve the problem first and show it to me, that it will not be happen again. Only after that i am going to pay the bill.

                    Drawbacks :

                    1. Worst Customer (Selleer) Care.
                    2. No timeline for problem being solved.
                    3. Worst Speed and Connectivity.
                    4. To check all of these above you have to spend 3500 to purchase the device which is not refundable.

                    Advantages :

                    1. You need not to go anywhere to apply for connection, they will collect the documents and money from your doorsteps.

                    I got a new relaince net connect data card and it took 2 weeks for activation of this card. After a lot of frustrating talking with non helping customer care, my card got activated and few days after that they have again suspended my card .The reason I am given is that there was some problem in my verification ... how can u activate my fone and then deactivate without PRIOR INFORMATION .I assume once the card is activated it means all verifications are done . I was not even intimated tht my card will be deactivated .
                    From past 5 days I am talking to the customer care people but no response and no support as well.. Relaince net connect is the most horrible broad band service provider in india.

                            I had seen one newspaper advertisement about Nazar Suraksha Kawach. I ordered the same with Indiatimes Shopping. It was indicated in the ad that if I make the payment through ICICI Cr. Card, I will be getting a lunch box worth Rs. 199/-. Accordingly, I placed the order and enquired the executive about the free product. He said that for availing that offer, my minimum order value should be Rs. 1000/- whereas the Nazar Suraksha Kawach was for Rs. 749/-. He insisted me to take their IndiaToday Book Club membership worth Rs. 525/- so that the value would be Rs. 1200+ and I would get the said offer of free lunch box. Though I was not interested in BookClub membership, he assured that out of Rs. 525/- I will get back a voucher of Rs. 500/- which can be redeemed at Big Bazar's Food Bazar. Hence, I confirmed the order. Now, more that 2 months have passed, I just received the Nazar Suraksha Kawach. But till today, I have neither received the Lunch Box nor the Gift Voucher of Rs. 500/-. I mailed them twice but there was no response. I would suggest everyone not to place any orders with Indiatimes as they are fraud people and have no care for their customers.

                              I purchased a Mobile Phone for Rs 4149.00 (full amount paid by Credit card on Feb 12, 2010) based on an Advt., placed by them in the TOI of Feb 11, 2010 on page 15. I was promised a delivery time of 13 days (Feb 25 - target date). On Feb 23rd when I called I was informed the order was placed on Feb 20th and now it will take 13 days. When I wanted to escalate the matter, I was given 2 email ID's ([protected]@indiatimes.com and [protected]@indiatimes.com) - I had already written to these id's 3-4 times till this time with no response. When I wanted to escalate there were no names given to me at all. Then I thought of an old friend whose is a VP with one of the TOI group companies. He gave me the name, email ID and phone no of a VP at indiatimes.com. The indiatimes VP told me I should receive it by Mar 1. I finally got it by Mar 6!!!

                              This indiatimes VP had promised me some extra vouchers. I did get 3 totaling to Rs 1250.00, but all of them expired!!! Their customer care head claimed later on follow up that there is nothing they can do since it is a systemic error. The indiatimes VP also didnt reply after that.

                              Guys / Gals, please figure out for yourself this:

                              Even if you know someone inside the organization, that high up on the corporate ladder, with indiatimes, you are screwed!

                                  Hi All,

                                  This is in regards to a product I bought from Indiatimes.com. Its a product called White Light which helps in dental issues. I placed an order and received the product in 7 days. However, the electronic gadget in the package doesn't work. And most importantly, after repeated complaints to Indiatimes.com and also generating a Case ID, I haven't got any reply from the company. They claim to respond in 24 hours, where as it has been over 10 days since that happened. And most amazingly these guys claim to be one of the best online shopping sites. I recommend to all the people reading this forum, don't ever try this website for shopping, they are big frauds who just say many things but when you buy it turns out that you have been duped.

                                  I would request you to please help me in this regard. I would like to get my money back and return the product.

                                  I purchaged a spy pen online sub order no.3060243 from india times that i found faulty .emailed no of times but no response so far.moreover no contacting no to contact.the information of this type of cheating should be flashed to all channels.

                                    i purchased 5 in 1 sofa cum bed through shopping indiatimes made the payment and my cridet card statement showing the money taken by them and they are say the billing is dropped i have given them the mail from the citibank still there is no response nor picking up the phone.

                                      I had paid for 2GB MP3 Player on 19th Feb and received 1GB Mp3 Player with defective headfone on 17th March. I had complained Mumbai customer care ( Yogesh, Amit, Nitin, Aswini, Kunal, Manoj) several times. Customer care people said you would get call back within 48 Hours, but no one never ever called back. My order no is[protected]. Wonder what kind of service they providing to the customers. I've been calling to the Customer Care for continuously past 20 days and every time they are telling me that I would be getting a call before 7.30pm end of the day, and till now no body has turned up. I also tried to call the manager on the number "[protected]" but didn't get any response on this.
