Sub: non receipt of cash on withdrawal from indian bank atm, panagal park branch, t. Nagar, chennai-17-reg. —
I submit the following incident for your kind notice and request investigation in this matter.
On[protected] i authorised my husband sri. G. Sivakumar to withdraw rs. 25000/- using my indian bank debit card. He went to nearby sbi atm and icici atm in mambalam and tried to withdraw amount.in both the places his request was denied. Finally he went to panagal park indian atm and used the card for withdrawal. After applying correct pin number he received a printed slip saying that his request was unable to process. So he came out from atm. On 14th nov when i went to indian bank to withdraw cash in person i surprise to found from the entries in the passbook showing withdrawal of 25000/- on 12th nov from atm.
I immediately met the branch manager and narrated the incident and lodged a written complaint. They told they will investigate the matter from the surveillance camera footage. After that i have been constantly enquiring the branch manager whether any clue have been got from the camera footage. Finally they told that few seconds after my husband left atm the cash could have been come out and the person came after him might be taken the amount. He denied to disclose the identity of the next person who entered and took the amount probably that may be due to their rules and regulations of bank. So far i have not received any written reply from the bank.
I am a retired pensioner retired as pay & accounts office from (South), chennai and the loss of above said amount is from my pension account. It is not a small amount to loose. I request you to intervene in this case and help me to get back rs. 25000/-.
I request you take necessary action in this regard with the co-ordination of indian bank, panagal park branch and i hope that u will get back my money at the earliest.
