I am writing on behalf of my grandfather, Shri Tara Datt Joshi (aged 88 years), a pensioner of Indian bank, Branch- Bareilly, who has not been receiving his pension for a considerable period.
As advised by the branch, KYC formalities were to be completed. However, the process was delayed due to a discrepancy in the date of birth between his Aadhaar card and bank records. As instructed by the bank, all required documents, including forms, photographs, and a detailed letter, were submitted via email on 20th Ma, 2026y and also through physical copies on 21st May, 2026.
Despite these submissions and multiple follow-ups through calls and branch visits, there has been no update regarding his PPO account or the status of his pension. It is also concerning that no clear communication has been provided on the pending issue.
Given his advanced age and inability to visit the branch personally, we request to extend appropriate support as per senior citizen service provisions. His pension is crucial for meeting basic household expenses.
We kindly request you to take necessary action, Inform us of any pending requirements, if applicable and Facilitate early resolution and resume his pension at the earliest
