Indian Bank — r. d not run properly

I sudipta chatterjee, have a savings account in indian bank, galsi branch (Ifsc code:[protected] bearing a/c no.[protected]. But my complaint is against benachity branch, durgapur, w. B, where i had an r. D account which started on 02/05/2018, rs 4000 each month that was to be deducted every month from my savings account and to end on 02/05/2019. On 07/05/2019 i requested for closure of this r. D account and credit the total sum to my savings account and also started a new one at the same day. But when they credited only rs 4000 to my account i asked them the reason. To my utter surprise they told me that they did not continue to deduct the monthly amount (Rs 4000) every month except the first time. So i have only rs. 4000 in my r. D account and as it didnt run only rs 4000 have been credited to my account but i told them to deduct it every month from my account. I asked them then why did you not call me inform me about it, the madam in the counter told that she cannot say about it as she was not then but probably he/she have forgot to do that who made this account at that time. Then i asked after 1 year i am getting only rs 4000 with no interest, then who will take the responsibility for my loss over 1 year, they had no answer.
Sir, i work in a school. It is not possible for me to check the balance every month and to update the pass book. But i expect the bank to perform their duty properly. They would have inform me if there was any problem. So i request you to lodge a complaint for that incident and take necessary action so that it doesnt happen again. Furthermore should i not get any interest on rs 4000 which was in the account for 4 years? Hope you consider it seriously. Thanking you.
