[Resolved] Indian Health Organisation [IHO] — Medical Insurance
To The Officer in Charge, Indian Health Organisation, 8th April 2016 Subject: Health Insurance Policy Number [protected]/24 To whomsoever this may concern, Dear Sir / Madam, Good day, I would like to introduce myself as Darryl Athaide a resident from Vasai. I had received a call sometimes around the 1st week of December 2015 from one of your agents or employee, who introduced himself as Mr. Gurpreet Singh. Mr Gurpreet Singh gave us such hopes of your policy being a wonder policy and we decided to purchase the Health policy for Rupees 5000. We were given to understand that we would receive our Health Insurance Cards in 2 days and within 14 days would have our blood samples taken for a Blood Test of more than 60 different results. As soon as we received the phone call with regards to our interest in joining the IHO Health Insurance policy within a couple of hours a person arrived at my home with the forms and on completion of the forms a cash amount of Rupees 5000 had been paid. Sir / Madam, I received a mail with the Insurance cards around the 3rd week of December 2015, but with a misprint to my wife’s name. Ever since then I have been calling your organization requesting a card for my wife with the proper spelling to her name. In December the excuse was it was the holiday season and hence the delay. It has been 4 months now and neither have I received any corrected card for my wife and neither has any person come to take the Blood Sample for more than 60 Test that I was promised at the time of purchasing the policy. I have made numerous calls in this regards but your organization does not seem to care about anything, leaving me to understand that I have been duped and this is a scam. I have lost all hopes about the wonderful things you say when you need customers and thereafter just leave your customers to feel cheated. I have lost Rupees 5000 and cannot believe an organization like yours would actually “cheat” us Indians. Waiting in anticipation, Darryl Athaide Was this information helpful?
