My gas connection is with M/s Arvind gas agency, Thiruvananthapuram and my consumer number is M4704
I have booked for gas cylinder replacement a few weeks ago and my booking number is 1076
I have been informed on 6-10-09 that the gas cylinder will be delivered on the next day
Since then I am witing and every day they will inform me that the gas will be delivered that day.
I am yet to receieve the gas cylinder and the agenecy is giving lame execuses
Kindly look into this matter

My consumer no is 19571. I have booked gas on 19 Oct 09, my booking no was 6237. For last 10 days i m daily giving phone calls to ARVIND gas agency twice & their standard reply : today evening. But that today have not yet materialised ie 25 Nov09 1100hrs. Can anyone tell me their complaint no. When asked to them about the complaint no they denied to give me the no.

    1. Today 11th Oct at about 1.45 I went to fill in fuel at Vedanayagam Oil Company (302 / 256, Mettupalayam Road, Saibaba Colony, Coimbatore - 43).

    2. After filling fuel, they denied to check air pressure.

    3. When I approached the Manager he said, no power. Then no compressor. Then not enough power for the compressor etc, which was not good for me

    4. When I asked for the complaint book, he dint give it to me immediately. I had to talk 5 mins to get access to the complaint book

    5. I filled in the complaint Book Sl. No. 5. After filling, they forced me to change something I had written. I refused to change. They did not allow me to drop the complaint in the complaint box. When I insisted they physically stopped me from dropping the complaint

    6. Please let me know what action is being taken for

    (a) Not having Air Checking operational
    (b) For not giving the complain book immediately
    (c) For not physically stopping me from filing the complaint

        Dear All,

        I shifted from Bokaro to Ranchi & transfered the gas from Bokaro to Ranchi(anand gas, ph. no.[protected], they asked Rs. 45(Mr. Rameshwar staff of gas agency) postal charges for confirmation of transfer from Bokaro. I already given the transfer order which was provided by my bokaro gas agency but they still asked Rs. 45 from me for reconfirmation from the Bokaro gas agency(samarjeet gas agency) I already given the same on 6th oct. 09 but they didn't given any receipt of the same & confrm visit after one week for transfer of the same. Is it the process of transfer of gas. Pl. confirm.If they took one week then how i make the food without gas, Pl. confirm. I also doubt they will provide me the gas after one week,

          I am a consumer of Ravethy Gas Agency which is situated at Medavakkam, Chennai.( Their Phone Numbers are : [protected], [protected].)

          My consumer number is : 6346.

          The Agency people have been delaying on the distribution of cylinder to me. Even now, i have booked for the gas well in advance. The billed for the gas cylynder on[protected] but they have not delivered to me till now. Many times I spoke to the agency people regarding this. On 5-10-07, I spoke to them. They said that they will send on [protected]. They failed to send it. Again I spoke on[protected]. They told me that they will send on[protected]. Even today[protected] I have requested them to send a cylinder but they refused to send it. They told me that we will send it only by next week.

          We will not respose your request. we will not send it today. We wont say when in next week we will send you. If you want change this company to some other , you can do it.
          This is very harasement. They not even respond through phone.

          They billed on[protected] but still they are having the cylider with them. I dont know why they are not giving delivery?

          Are they using this cylinder in some other places by getting more money than the fixed amout of Rupees ?

          Kindly take action on this cmplaint.

          Indane/pattammal gas agency Tambaram — Applied DBC 4 years back , poor service in cylinder 15-20 days to deliver cylinder

          complaintNo1 : I applied DBC 4 years back , still they will not ready to give any status about my request .I have 2 childrens with parends totally 6 members, I can't manage with single cylinder,so I applied DBC still I can't get DBC

          off late we are finding their service and delivery not satisfactory.
          they are demanding more money than the bill amount and behaviour of the delivery boy is very rude.

          I am LPG gas consumer, I deal with IOC (Agnihotri Gas Agency, Sector 37, NOIDA) My consumber No.A 23466 My problem is that after booking the agency have not supply the gas home delivery. Presentely I book the gas on 7th October 2009, today is 21st October 2009, no cylender reach at my home. We are facing a lots of problem and unable to cook food for the last 3-4 days . If such basic servises are not provided at your end we will force to sent the same to petrolum ministry.
          All the time the agency keeps the phone on busy mode, donot pick the phone.
          This is the problem since along period.

          I am consumer of Murali Narasimma Gas Agency, Polur Tk. Tiruvannamalai Dist. My consumer No.13457. The above Gas Agency is not supplying the refill cylinder in time and creating inordinate delay. I booked for a refill cylinder after 21 days of received a refill cylinder on 13.10.2009, but till date the refill cylinder is not delivered.

          This is not a first time. More times the Gas Agency doing this practice.

          Kindly take necessary action.

          I am the resident of west tambaram, we have lpg connection in M/s Pattammal gas agency in Muduchur road, lot of corruption is happening in this ageny, one man is having a close relationship with the agency and he take atleast 10 no of LPG cylinders to the near by tea shop and other hotels in and around tambaram area daily . i came to know that this man earn good money out of this and he is staying in pillayar koil street, he tyake the cylinders in his moped old TVS 50, atleast 3 no of cylinders in his moped at a time .

          Hence i pray to you to take appropriate steps to prevent and protect your valuable coustomer at this piont .

          I am a consumer of Prathana Gas Agencies, Poovarasampettai, Chennai.

          The Agency people have been delaying on the distribution of cylinder to me. Even now, i have booked for the gas well in advance. The billed for the gas cylynder on[protected] but they have not delivered to me till now.

          I have spoken to them from the 1 week of the booking date and keep on they are telling the same word, The suppliers of my street is not available. So it will take 1 or 2 days delayed.

          Yesterday i callled them and enquired and they told tomorrow i will be getting. Today also i called and they are telling the same as tomorrow i will be getting. I am totally frustrated of their response.

          I dont know its happening for this agencies. Previously it was not there.

          As a end result, i am not yet received the cylinder and have been waiting for the past 2 weeks which is not acceptable.

          Could you take this into serious action and get the things done.

          We are very much suffering from issue of gas cylinder through local distributers.I am Krishna Kumar,my consumer number is 4389 booking date july 27,booking no 6516 and does not get it from our distributor Prabhath gas agencies Kuttipuram,Malappuram.

          I am a consumer of TUCS, Thiruvanmiyur, my consumer number is 49382.

          Though we booked the cylinder two weeks days back, they said it will be received in a week and on repeated phone enquiries, they are saying, today, tomorrow, (for the last four days).

          We are totally frustrated by their response. Please do the needful.

          I am a consumer of Sri Balagi Agencies, Ambattur. My consumer number is 18081. I booked 10 days ago. When I attempt to remind them they keep all thier phones always in dead. Their Phone numers are 26580977, 26583577, 26581966, and 26583977.

          On the other hand I notice that they deliver two cylinders daily to a Mess near my house which is run by one Moses at night hours.

The agency takes abnormal delay in supplying refill gas every time we make our booking and takes approx. 30 to 40 days. Most of the time we run out of gas as both the cylinders get empty and we need to take from our neighbours. In normal course also one cylinder is always empty. I don't know what is the use of giving us double cylinder when one of the cylinders is always empty. Before my last 2 years in Chennai, I was in Mumbai where I used to get my both Bushane cylinders in time and the very next day of booking of 2nd cylinder but in case of Indane we are facing lot of problems especially with this agency. We are totally frustrated. They give us simply filmsy reasons like they don't get sufficient supply from IOC. With the diwali festival approaching people like us are suffering heavily. They take 21 days for booking, then 5 to 6 days for cutting receipts and another 3/4 days for giving receipt to the delivery person and the delivery man takes 1/2 days and finally after supply our delivery date is indicated the next day only when the delivery man returns the coupon to them.

          1. I am a customer of Sree Balaji Agencies, Ambattur and my customer Number is 18081. The agency is always keeping their phone numbers 26581966, 26580977 and 26583977 always busy and engaged. It shows that they are mocking at consumers.
          2. I booked for supply of refill gas cylinder on 20th Oct. and the Agency assured me to supply the cylinder on or before 30th Oct.
          3. But they do not comply with the rules and regulations and when I asked the order number (waiting list) they refused to reveal me.
          4. I come to that they are black marketing the Domestic cylinders to commercial uses at huge profits. Domestic Cylinders costs Rs.352 and the commercial one costs Rs.1041.
          5. Thousands and thousands of Domestic Cylinders are diverted to Hotels and Messes at huge profits by pushing household mothers at great hardships by making abnormal delay.
          6. The manipulation costs huge loss in thousands of crores to exchequer of the Govt.
          7. When I tried to contact the CONSUMER CARE OFFICER of IOCL at 500, Anna Salai, they are always at escaping point. Their phone numbers 24339236, 24339236, 24339235 and 24339237 are always intentionally kept engaged from 9 a.m to 5 p.m.
          8. If it is so what is the use of Consumer care office as it is practically dead unit.
          9. Can the concerned higher authorities are necessary action to redeem the hardships of consumers.

          In Puliyangudi the as agency they are misusing the free gas connection for poor people given by the Tamil Nadu Govt. They are demanding Rs.600 to 650. and also they harrasing them. Which is appear in the TAMIL MURASU news paper and also in Dhinakaran paper. Who will take the decision on this either Madurai Office or Chennai office.

          Dear Sir,

          As per the recent announcement by IOC that LPG refil can book before 21 days of wait period from the earlier supply.

          However the agents are telling that they can accept for booking purpose only and for delivery of Refil. Further they say that delivery will be effected after 21 days from the earlier supply.

          I request the Indian Oil corporation to issue necessary circular to thier Indane Agents and to press regaring the booking and delivery of refils enable the customer are not cheated by their Indane agents.

          Moreover the domestic gas cylinders are used by many commerical establishments everywhere which affects the domestic consumers very badly.

          Hope the IOC will take nesseary action and supply the refils on request of consuments properly.

          I am a consumer of Indane gas from South Madras Gas Agency which is situated at mandaveli with my consumer number 74453..I have made my gas booking on 30/11/2010 and the booking number was given as 16890 and i was promised i will be getting my supply on 16/12/2010 or latest by 18/12/2010 but it is 24/12/2010 and it is going to be one month..i have made more than 20 calls to them since 18/12/2010 and the response was "sir you will be getting today or tomorrow". the worst was when i called on 20/12/2010, i was told your booking has been closed and the supply has been done..later on when i was pressing on to who has taken the supply when it has not reached me., the answer changed to it was some one else's supply..but till date the upply has not been delivered to me.

          So unscruplous and unethical staff..they do not have the basic courtesy to even give an answer on what they supply..what kind of people are these..

          Blame it on Indian Oil corporation...i think it is high time IOC and the dealer give an answer in the court of law..i am approching the redressal form if either of the concerned don't relook into the matter seriously.

          This has been happening for the second time..in the earlier instance, the agency sent a cylinder to my home with a booking bill which i have never booked at all..i had to clarify to the delivery man and the agency that i have recieved a cyclinder the day before only and how can i do a booking within the stipulated booking time..it was clear that the agency had done a double booking ..this seems to be the state of affairs in this agency..

          A formal complaint has also been given to IOC earlier this week on the said agency but the IOC staff have been taking the issue not seriously..

          I am left with no other option but to reckon the media and the press on Monday 27/10/2010, to throw some light on this agency and the defaulting IOC official in the complaints cell..

          I am a customer of your esteemed orgn. since 1983. Now I am getting gas cylinder from M/s. VIR GAS AGENCY, No.8, Ganapathy

          Street, West Mambalam, Chennai-24. The complaint is that I was today supplied one cylinder with a bill for Rs.352.35. When I

          tendered the amount (Rs.353/-), they refused to accept and deliver the cylinder. Instead, they demanded extra Rs.10/-. If

          not given, they would not deliver the cylinder and also told to complaint to anybody. First I refused to give the

          rupees(Rs.10). When they took back the cylinder, I had no other way but to give money so as to save my cylinder. Moreover

          they picked a quarrel with me. Now let me know whether the bill amount (Rs.352.35) is for door delivery or not. Why

          delivery people demand extra? If not given, they take back the cylinder. It is very unreasonable and unjustifiable. I want

          to know the rules behind this. And also I want to know my stand in this regard.

          Kindly take immediate action and reply to me.

Consumer No.31322, Now I am getting gas cylinder from M/s.MARUTHI INDANE DISTRIBUTER, 1/1 WELCOME COLONY, NEXT TO THIRUMANGALAM SHOPPING COMPLEX, ANNANAGAR WEST EXT.N, Chennai-600101. The complaint is refil cylinder booking in time through phone every time agency people says 10 days but i did not get proper time, Minimum 30 days and above.simply they are telling to us your door is locked. It is very unreasonable and unjustifiable. I came to know the Delivery boys selling extra money.
          The company knowingly allowing out side sales.Due to this reason we are suffering.Now my both cylinder are empty.How i will manage.even though i am OIL SECTOR PERSON

          to know the rules behind this. And also I want to know my stand in this regard.

          dear sir,

          My name is K.SREENIVAS, No.4/713, 16th cross street, neelankarai, chennai-600041.I have the indane gas on my account on the above address and the customer connection no is 35111.further i have 2 gas cylinders for one connection. both the cylinders were empty now and I booked long time back, Still no supply from ADYAR GAS AGENCY, INDIRA NAGAR, ADYAR, CHENNA.

          I got angry on the agency, because they asked me to
          purchase COMMERCIAL GAS than cooking .Now I am shocked to hear all
          these things, no service from the dealer which leads to mental agony and ashame for me to take legal proceedings against agency

          Donot educate the customer with wrong commitment.Take severe steps to avoid these type of problems in future.

          I am Dhanasekar and my consumer No. is 2413 and getting gas refills from Sri Selvi Indane Gas Agency Plot No. E, II Street, Bharathi Salai, Arunachalam Nagar, Chennai - 600116. From yesterday ie 2-2-11 I have been trying to their two telephone numbers 24761161 & 24761170 nearly 40 50 times but no body is taking the call. I am an elderly person and I cannot go everytime for refilling in person. If they could introduce bookings thro SMS it will be much appreciated.           I am benny writing this on behalf of my wife Mrs.Merlin sahana residing at old.no 283, new.no 32, Yadhaval street, Adambakkm, chennai-600 088.I have two cyclinders, I am getting refils from SABHA INDANE GAS AGENCIES, No.51, Cart track road, Maduvinkarai, guindy, chennai-600032, last 5 months every time i have to visit their office for atleast 3 or 4 times for getting delivery, they are not giving the delivery in time, now what happened both the cyliders were empty, what can we do already waited for 15 days, we are office goers, really getting angry and metal tension on these people just giving cylinders to those giving premium and not following booking.

          Advise them to supply in time and ask them to maintain booking system in systamatic way to aviod confusion and tension.really sorry to say that we can go for another cylinders

          Pattammal Gas Agency west tambaram — demanding high delivery cost and late delivery of cylinder

          Respected sir,
          I am R.Gurumurthy Living in Tamabaram Sanatorium. I have booked a cylinder to Pattamal Gas Agency on 21st January 2011. The Person who have taken the order said that the cylinder would be delivered within 20 days.But we received the cylinder only on 16th February 2011.When enquired about this to the gas agency the employee Ms.Janaki said that our bill has been misused by the staff, so they have booked another cylinder only on 9th. The Delivery boy Mr.Murugan demanded Rs.20 for delivering the cylinder and when we argued him that we could give only Rs.10 which we are giving for the past 3months, he started to take the cylinder back saying that he would deliver the cylinder only if we pay him Rs.20. So, i request you to take a action regarding this issue.

          I am a consumer of Guru Gas Agencies, Maha Kavi Bharathi nagar, Chennai-600039

          The Agency people have been delaying on the distribution of cylinder to me. Even now, i have booked for the gas well in advance. We ordered gas cylinder on[protected] but they have not delivered to me till now.

          I have spoken to them In this number 24339236, 24339246 from the 1 week of the booking date and keep on they are telling the same word, The suppliers of my street is not available. So it will take 1 or 2 days delayed. They telling load as not yet come.

          Today also I went and met them personally and complaint about delay in delivery to their proprietor then also they did not deliver them . I am totally frustrated of their response.
          We are suffering without gas for past three days. I don’t know it’s happening for this agencies. Previously it was not there.

          As a end result, I am not yet received the cylinder and have been waiting for the past 2 weeks which is not acceptable.

          Could you take this into serious action and get the things done.

          I am Chandran and my consumer No. is 8177 and i am getting my gas cylinder from Ajitha Gas agency I.C.F link road Villivakkam, chennai - 600049.I am often getting my cylinder late. At the time of booking they say that within 15 days they will deliver the gas cylinder, but they take 20 to 25 days. and when we enquire about it directly at the office or through phone there is no proper response from the people sitting in the office, they won't here what we are saying. This month I booked on 01/03/2011 and i got the cylinder on 22/03/2011, but the bill date in the receipt was 12/03/2011. when we asked the delivery why there was a delay, he said that the people in the office did not give the bill and the bills which he was delivering was 09/03/2011 booking.Before that I booked on 18/01/2011, i got the cylinder on 07/02/2011. so kindly do the needful in getting the cylinder in time.

          tass Gas AGency - Gas cylinder — Delay in supply of cylinder

          I have registered with Tass Gas AGency in Chromepet and I am not getting cylinder supply regularly. Every month when I book for a cylinder they used to say that i will be getting within one week or 10 days. But I am getting only after 15 days. They use to tell book after 21 days from the date of receipt of a cylinder and when i book accordingly they are not supplying at the stipulated time. Even though I am having additional cylinder it was empty only because of the delay in supply and every time I have to face the same problem i.e. without having a cylinder and both the cylinders are empty. When I call the gas agency, they use to tell the same word 'today we will arrange to send or there is no load, if load comes we will supply'. for example, i booked my cylinder on 11th and i have been told that within one week i will get the supply but till date i have not received the cylinder and every day i have been following up but i am getting the same reply that today they will be sending. Hence, please look into this and helpl me to get the cylinder supply in time.

          I would like to state that the recent procedure of booking refills of LPG cylinders from agencies has been routed through mobile phones. This is highly found unsuitable for less educated ones.
          One of my family member, while booking so, the mobile phone got entangled with their consumer number on opting the consequent unknown option. But the worst of all is, basically the phone is not owned by them and hence the real owner is now not in a position to book their own refills. This when approached the concerned booking agency, they disown the responsibility.
          Hence, It is requested here to kindly release the lock and make the phone free.

          iam a consumer of RANIE GAS AGENCY which is situated in Nanganallur (their phone number is [protected],[protected]).

          My consumer number is 48295.

          the agency people have been delaying on the distribution of cylinder to me. even now i have booked for the gas well in advance. past 3 months they delivered refill cylinder at 45 days from the date of refill booking.

          they inform us that for booking refill cylinder 1)should wait for more than 25 days from the date of the receipt of the previous cylinder.2)they supply the cylinder only after 15 days from the date of booking of the cylinder for refill. so ultimate I got to wait for nearly 40 days to get a refill cylinder.the purpose of posssessing double cylinder is being defeated.

          my booking number is 334220 and booked on[protected]. till now i didn't get any message from the IOC regarding refill booking cash memo.

          this is very harasement.

The telephone numbers available in web site are not in use. I could not get Public Relations Officer e-mail address or mobile number. Since 6 months I am badly suffering to get transfer of my house hold gas connection from Chennai to Mumbai. My old consumer No.39851 with Triloks Gas Service, Adyar, Chennai. I have deposited my 2 cylinders and regulator and original subscription voucher handed over to the manager of Triloks Gas Service, because of strike it was promised the transfer voucher will be sent to my address in the first week of June, 2011. I understand that the dealership of Triloks Gas Service has been cancelled. All consumers are transferred to M/s. Adyar Gas Agencies, Adyar, Chennai. My new consumer number is 51317 is in live. My complaints to your complaint Forum/cell are in no use. I once again request you atleast to provide direct contact number and e-mail address of Public Relations Officer, Indian Oil corporation, Teynampet, Anna salai, Chennai-600 018 office to make correspondence directly.

          I ve applied for new gas connection on 17/09/2011 at "Guru Gas Agency", 14 Davidson Street, Chennai - 1
          I ve paid an initial amount of Rs 2320/- and submitted relevant documents to get the connection.
          They informed me that it will take approximate of 3 months to get the letter from IOC.
          On first week of Dec, i received letter from IOC stating your connection has been approved and you can go and approach the dealer and make the payments to get the new cylinder.
          I made the payment of Rs 2900/- for double cylinder on 14/12/2011, to Mr Gopinath and he said that Cylinder will come to your residence with in 3 working days.
          Till now i have not received the cylinder to my residence, Even if i am calling to the Agency[protected]/[protected] they are not giving the proper feedback.
          Blindly they are saying Regulator is not available, Stove is not available and Lighter is not available etc...
          I m keep following since 14/12/2011, but i m helpless.
          If i m approaching to the concern agency also, they are not responding with care...
          Nearly 7 to 8 times i walked to their agency, but there is no use...
          At last i came to know, they have not prepared the document/Invoice for delivering the cylinder

          Please help us to get the New Cylinder as earliest.

You may instruct M/s. Adayar Gas Agencies, Adayar, Chennai to send the transfer voucher to my Mumbai address to get a connection at Mumbai. I did not understand why you are very careless, not looking in to the matter. How I have to get my gas connection. Is it so much big problem for you?           I feel sad to note that my friend got the cylinder on11/02/12 even though he booked the cylinder on 19/01/12and his Cash memo no is1587 dt 01/02/12 but my Cash memo no is8178 dt 09/02/12.

          Even though Consumer friendly central booking system is functioning, some where system is not lacking.

          I request you kindly look in to it .

          I just want to bring to your knowledge that last time also I had this bitter experience.

          I have recieved my last refill cylinder 16.02.2012. Though the refill order No.5523 dt.15.02.2012, it was supplied on 16.02.2012 the delivery man put the date as 16.012.2012 in his writing.

          I have booked the next refill on 05.03.2012. The same has been acknowledged as Ref. No.41366 as booking.
          On 23.03.2012 I have enquired about the availability of refill but nothing has been done. So I complained about the dealy for which I received a SMS stating a cash memo No.3589 has been created and the refill will be supplied soon.
          Till dated i.e.28.03.2012, I have not been supplied with a refill. What is the reason for the delay.

          Why don't the Indian Oil Corporation sell the Cylinders at the original rate without subsidy to those who required
          when the dealy occurs. Otherwise we are getting the Cylinders at exhorbitant price.

          Distribution of Date Expired Cylinders:

          I am a consumer of Prasanna Gas Agency, Padi, Chennai. My consumer number is 1058. Today (30.08.2012) the agency person has delivered a cylinder which has already expired on Sep 2011(C11). The cylinder was in a very bad shape & totally wornout and when we explained and asked for a non expired cylinder, he shouted back saying that IOC is supplying these cylinders...it is IOC's fault & not theirs. All the cylinders which the agency person had, were expired & so we had to pick a better looking cylinder which is also expired. This is not the first time this is happening. I have repeatedly heard the same complaints from my daughters that they are receiving expired cylinders. Hence I request the concerned authorities to take quick action and stop the circulation of expired cylinders as they are very very DISASTEROUS. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE SERIOUSNESS OF THIS SITUATION AND TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION.

          Dear Sir, I am Manivannan, from Chennai. I am a customer to M/s Anbu Gas Indane Agency, NSK Nagar, Arumbakkam, Chennai. My Consumer Number is 34004. I had booked for a domestic gas refill in August 2012 and the Order booking Number is 391164.

          On 25th September I received SMS stating that the cash memo number 9023 is generated and the refill would be delivered soon. With lot of difficulties I could access the agency over phone on 05 October and enquired about delivery. I was told that the refill would be delivered in the same day (i.e. on[protected]. I made call on 09 Oct also and got the same reply. In the mean time I sent E mail also to that agency. But till to day,[protected], the refill is not delivered. The agency is not telling the correct date of delivery.

          I am S. Hariharan bearing customer ID 35552. The name of my gas agency is Rose Gas Agencies in Adambakkam, Chennai 600 088. I have booked for my refil cylinder on 4 Dec 2012 and the booking reference is 531298. It is going to be a month now since I have made the booking and the delivery of refil cylinder has not yet been made. When I contacted my agency, I was told that my quota of 6 refil cylinders per year was over (this is incorrect) and I have to pay Rs.813 to take delivery of each refil cylinder from now on. This statement is incorrect and this is only my 4th refil cylinder booking since Jan 2012. Moreover, I also wish to confirm that I do not hold gas booking in any other name/customer ID for the same delivery address and nor do I hold any separate customer ID in my name or in the name of my family members for any other delivery address with the same or any other gas agency. I fail to understand as to how they arrived at this calculation and I would appreciate an explanation on this. When I tried to explain this to them, they have refused to listen to me as asked to only listen to them and do what they say. Please advise me as to what do I do and how do I proceed, as I am badly in need of refil cylinder. My Mobile No. is +[protected].

          I have booked for second time indane gas on 08.12.12 and got confirmation from my cell pone representative that your gas will be delivered within days. Until now the gas has not been delivered. I called after 15 days what is the status of my request, the answer was "you will get gas today or by tomorrow" but it was not done. I called again and told them what is the status? Reply was " I am registering your complaint and you will get gas soon."now not deliver boy not supply today that area wait some 2 days..

          Today ( 27/12/12) I have visited the agency and met the in-charge and informed about the issues no use..

          That agency told you change near rani ageny .

          Actually they don't care what the problem customer is facing. The administration system is not helping the customers at all and not responsive.

          My letter might not sound much importance to your company but I suggest that some corrective action plan to be taken asap. There are many people in my locality using Indane Gas who also face this problem and many do not have time to make a complaint as such.

          Avoiding this complaint letter will be escalated up to no use india oil

          If this is the case that no action has been taken against them then what is the use of this consumer forum? Please look into the matter and give them strict instructions and try to solve the problems which I am facing.

          I would require the door delivery ( cylinder) because its being delivered to other residence / neighbour

          I am surprised to note the above since I have not made the above booking through my above mobile No. On my enquiry with the Rose Gas Agency, simply they informed that they have similar consumer No.21216 in the name of Mr.Gopal and asked to reject cylinder on delivery. But no cylinder boys came to my house so far.
          I request that kindly look into it and how my mobile No. [protected] has been used by some other person in which case I am receiving SMS and what will happen for my eligibility allotment if some other person book through my No. Please look into it and do the needful.

            I have booked one LPG Cylinder on 28th August'09 in my Indane Gas Agency (INDHAN GAS,Fauzidarypatty,Nagaon,Assam).But till this moment there is no delivery of my booked cylinder . I am staying with my family and facing very much trouble .

              Sir,

              The the above Distributor of Domestic LPG is delivering cooking LP Gas cylinder this time on the delay of 23 days from the date of the booking. For the last one year I have to make frequent call to the office and it is only after more than 10 days from the date of delivery that we manage to get the LPG cylinder. Most of my family members are in Govt services and we are facing a lot of problem due to this irregular supply of cooking gas by the above supplier.

              Surprisingly, in all the unlicenced Hotels,Dhabas,tea stalls and eateries the LPG are available for their purpose.

              I am S.Senthilnathan with the residence address as
              No.5, Srinivasa Nagar, Kelambakkam, Kancheepuram (DT). a consumer of Indane through M/s.Vijay GAs Agency with the office address as No.31/37, Ashtalakshmi garden, Besant nagar, Chennai - 600 090. My consumer No. 16514. The above agency

              operating an extension counter at Kelambakkam.
              In my experience in the past 3 years, there is no regular working hours for this office. there is no fixed phone number for this office. They frequently changing their mobile numbers. Booking of cylinder itself a tuff task due to this above problems.

              This time the Kelambakkm office not found open, so the cylinder booked on 05.12.2008 through the Besant Nagar office, and they assured to deliver the cylinder in week time. Till now the cylinder was not delivered. When I am contacting the office, the person at the office instruct me to collect the cylinder from the office and refused for door delivery.

              I don't know what i have to do. I wish to know what is the IOL guidlines regarding the door delivery. What kind instruction in this regard to the distributers.

              So i kindly request the IOL to instruct the distributer to ensure the proper office setup with delivery facilities, so as to avoid the difficulties to the consumers.

              Your early action in this regard is highly appriciated.

              Indane/Domestic LPG Cylinder — Complaint regarding domestic LPG cylinder delivery

              Dear Sir,

              I am an Indane domestic LPG customer from Nabadwip.
              I would like to inform that there is a huge illegal activities going on at Nabadwip(District Nadia, West Bengal) regarding distribution of LPG cylinders like below,

              Most of the delivery-personals do not carry weighing machines with them and refuses to weigh the cylinder at the time of delivery.
              The delivery center introduces a ridiculous precondition regarding this weighing issue like, customers must inform the delivery center if they want it to be weighed at the time of delivery.
              The cylinders intended to a customer who has booked for it sometimes get sold at higher price instead of delivering it to the intended consumer.

              I hope this issues will be taken care of at your earliest convenience as the general consumers are being suffered everyday for this kind of activities.

                Every month For every refill I have been collected RS 330/- The billing Price is Rs 317.50 Something
                For this excess collection I have made a complaint with My Distributor S R AGENCIES K anchipuram
                They did not take any steps for this irregularity.
                With in Two kilometers The distributor is collecting Rs 12.50 more than the Billing Price for every refill
                Is it comes under the directions of Indian Oil Corporation
                Please get me the justice and to protect this consumer from excess charging

                  I have booked gas on 21st September, 2009 by E-mail . They have also confirmed receipt of mail. Even after passing 3 weeks, I have not received the gas cylinder.

                  The telephone provided by the Jai Jawan gas service never works. My wife anf myself trying his telephone numbers for last 3 days desperately but the agency use to keep the telephone on hold.

                  Gas is a basic needs for cooking. After passing a long time if I don't reecive the gas you can understand my worries. You are requested to look in the matter.

                    1. Refer to my consumer no. 50136.

                    2. I transfered my connection with single cylender from new delhi to port blair in the month of Apr 09 vide my old consumer no. 21679. The moment I deposited my transfer voucher to Priya Indane at Portblair they took 01 month to provide me the single cyllender, regulator, and my connection papers.I applied for double cyllender and I have been told by Priya Indane that it will take six month to provide the same from date of allotment of connection.

                    3. On several request to priya indane I have been refilled my first empty cyllinder on 06 Aug 09. My cyllender again became empty on 12 Sep 09 and I made a call to priya indane to refil it . They told me that my refill is subject to availability of gas and the load is likely to come in one week and we will provide you the same. I kept waiting for the same and again I made a call to priya indane regarding my problem. I have been told that load is available and it will reach to you shortly.

                    4. Sir I would like to draw you kind attention about gas/ refil distribution system of priya indane. Usually as per the standerd distribution system of indane, a customer has to book a rifil/ gas, once his cylender becomes empty and the concerned gas agency delivers the refilled cyllender at his door steps because the delivery at door steps is customer's right as he is paying delivery charges with each refil. But in case of priya Indane inspite of booking for a refil he never delivers the same at door steps. The agency use to carry a big truck will all its load and visit the area. they use to book the cylinder on the spot and provide the refil to customers. If the customer is present at the resident he hardly comes to know about the ongoing refilling in his area as they come without informing any body in the area and finish off the procedure without intimating each individual customer. customers who somehow seen the distribution comes to the load point gets the refil rest all residents kept waiting at home. If the customer is not present at his resident he will have to wait till the next load to come in his area which usually takes one month otherwise he has to collect the refil from the godown.

                    5. In my case i kept waiting for my cylinder to refill till end of Sep 09 then i made a call to priya Indane. I Have been told that the load will arrive in my are in next 3 to 4 days and my refill shall be booked on the spot and I shall be provided the cyllender. I kept waiting till than. I visited Priya Indane on 07 Oct 09 and I asked my cylender. I have been told that delivery of gas has been done in my area on 03 oct 09. I was shocked. I kept waiting for so many days and I kept a track on the load and cylinder was not delivered at my residence. I enquired with my fellow resedent about the load on 03 oct 09 and no body seen the load on 03 oct 09 and about 25 person in my area whom I know very well said that they also are waiting for the load since last one week. finally I booked my refil on 07 sep 09 for delivery of gas vide my booking no. 616 dated 07 oct 09 and given a written complaint to Priya Indane. The staff at priya indane were not co operating in the matter. I asked the telephone no of the owner of the agency. They refuse to provede. I asked the mob no of the person who delivered the gas in my area they said he is out of station. i asked the status of my double cylender (DBC). They said it is under process but not shown me the waiting list no. or the estmated time of provisin of the same. I have been told that owner will come in the office at 1800 hrs then only I can meet him. I kept waiting till then and he didnt arrived at the agency. finally I have been told at 1830 hrs that he will not come today and he I can meet him on 08 october 09. Now you can emagine the embarassing situation, the inconvenience caused and the harashment which i am facing since last one month.

                    6. Here I would like to mention some points of concern and I would like to ask few quesion to Indane Gas Limited.

                    (a) Why there is such an irregular and non-systematic method of distribution is opted by priya indane?

                    (b) How a customer of priya indane shall come to know abt the arrival of refil load in his concerned area as they are not regular?

                    (c) Does the Priya Indane opted a method of announcement or displayed the issue program for the month at notice board in the area for distribution of refilled cylinder

                    (d) If a customer is not aware of the adject date of delivery of cylinder in his area how shall he present himself at the load point and then who shall be held responsible for this awareness?

                    (e) If a customer has not collected his refil from the load point then the supply of cylinder shall be ensured by whom?

                    (f) Inspite of paying delivery charges why the cylinderds are not being delivered at door steps and why it is always the customer who kept waiting and at last feels cheated by the Priya Indane and who shall establish a sence of responsibility for priya indane at Port Blair?

                    (g) Does Priya Indane has taken a prior Approval from the managment of Indane Gas Limited abt the modified distribution system of refilling and if it is so is there any written orders for the same?

                    (h) For how long a customer should wait for his double connection (DBC) and what has happended in my case/rquest for the same?

                    (i) Please jutify that how a customer should pull on with single cylinder and such an irregular supply system of refilled gas?

                    (j) Is the management of Indane Gaslimited is aware of all the matter and the inconvinience caused to the customer at portblair?

                    (k) Is there any autority who is having check on all the activity of priya indane at portblair? whom can we contact at portblair if such problem arises? If there is any authorise representative of Indane Gas Limited available at Port Blair please mention his address and contat no in Your Reply.

                    (7) In view of the above it is requested to initiate necessary action to resolve the issue and to help the mass residents in the area to get rid of the irresponsible behaviour of Priya indane which is causing lot of inconvinience and harrashment to the consumer.

                    (8) It is further requested that reply of all quiry and the action initiated in the matter may be sent to me in next 07 days to resolve the matter. I hope that you shall not compell me to take the matter to the consumer court and to produce me this letter and other corresponcence as an evidence.

                    (i request consumer complaint forum to look in to the matter and do justice with the case)

                      I am a resident of K.R.Puram, Bangalore. Cauvery Indane Agency is the distributor for gas. My consumer number is 21411. Whenever delivery boy comes to my house for delivering the gas cylinder, he demands Rs. 15/- for delivery, otherwisw he threatens that either he won't deliver the cylinder or keep the cylinder on the middle of road and I would have to bring it to my house myself.                           I have booked via automated booking and wished to confirm the booking as this is necessary to ensure that my request is being processed. However I am unable to contact the company via phone. I always get an automated message saying that the 'line is busy, please try after some time'

                          I fully agree with you. I have been trying all the numbers given by them. I get a busy message or some times even if it rings they do not pick it up. THis is quite frustrating. Now the company authorities to look at how quick they can respond to all phone calls.

                            I am a customer of MOONLIGHT GAS SERVICE, Bhadreswar, Hooghly, West Bengal, having consumer no 3934, have booked for gas cylinder on 21.09.2009 vide docket no 8556, over phone. But, till date, I have not received any cylinder. Today, I tried to make contact over phone, but no body response on the other side. My 2nd cylinder is also to be exhausted at any day. Other Consumers, who are facing the same problem, are going to the godown with an empty cylinder and getting a new one. But, being a senior citizen at a age of nearly 80 years, not possible for me to carry the cylinders. Even, the next booking of next cylinder will be registered after 17 days of delivery of previous cylinder, creating a tremendous tension, which becomes unbearable at this age. My wife of 72 years, is a diabetic patient having various medical problems. So, I request you to rescue me from this problem, which becomes a regular problems in our lives. Each and every time we are facing this problem, whenever I need a filled gas cylinder. Please give me a smooth service.

                            LPG Gas — irragular delivery & harshment

                            Dear sir
                            This is for the complain for Babarpur Gas Agency, C-Block, Gali No.3, Kabir Nagar, Shahdara Delhi 110094.Details are on 19 August, 2008 I book consumer gas to Babarpur gas agency after 8 days I could not get the gas. I went personally on 23rd August. 2008.
                            My wife visited their office twice but no response coming. This is not first time always they do like this and always I complain to that people but they puple are to useless that till date they neither deliver gas to me nor they are doing need full. This is common word for that peoples that today gas will provide...
                            These are the Gas Agency No. 22587334, 22129389 but they never receive call about gas. That’s why I finally decided to complain to Indian oil.
                            I hope better support from you. Kindly inform me what action was taken.

                              I am an Indane Gas consumer (Consumer# TG-C717). The distributor is Novelty Gas agency located in Srirampur, Distt - Hooghly, West Bengal. The sub agency which is supposed to issue the gas is located in Tarakeshwar, Distt - Hooghly, West Bengal. I have applied for a domestic gas refill on 20th September 2009 and in the supply book the delivery date endorsed is 2nd November 2009. This is un-acceptable and poor service standard Please look into this.

                                I am a consumer of Indane Gas with Bhagyanagar Gas Agencies, Vidyanagar with Consumer Number 10920. Yesterday (October 3, 2009) evening, we connected a new LPG cylinder and realized that the cylinder was leaking. Immediately, we became panicky and started calling all the number shown on the Delivery slip, but most unfortunately, none of the calls was attended. At 11.27 midnight, somebody took the call on [protected] and responded that he would come home within an hour. We kept waiting till 4.45 in the morning waiting for him to come, but he did not turn up. In the meanwhile, we tried calling the same number more than a hundred times, but the phone was 'not reachable.' We lodged a complaint on the website of Indane, and still nothing happened.
                                We again started calling the same number since 6.30 in the morning with the same result. Finally at 8.35 today morning, someone took the call and said that he was not the same as the one that took the call last night and said he would reach us within about 45 minutes. It is 1.15 in the afternoon, but still none has turned up. All our efforts to call that number again have been in vain, as the phone has been switched off.
                                We also called [protected]at 1.05 in the afternoon today and were told that they do not serve in our area and that they don't have any other useful information or contact numbers.
                                Every member of the family is seriously upset and torn in panic over the episode.
                                It is so very terrible to know that Indane (which claims to have transformed the lives of millions of people) has utter disregard for such serious hazardous situations.
                                Such a callous attitude is not only condemnable, but should be seriously punishable.
                                I really do not know what I should do now!
                                Does anybody know the authority to whom I could complain and seek the most stringent punishment for the people responsible (or irresponsible!)?

                                Dear Sir

                                We had received delivery of gas cylinder on the 3rd Feb'09 form Jai Jawan Gas Service.
                                The same day we had informed that Gas is leaking and requested for cahnging the cyclinder.
                                Till today no action has not been taken. We have kept the Cyliner in our Balcony to avoid any fire.

                                The Gas is still leaking, we request to do the needful at the earliest to avoid any dangerous situation.

                                  Respected Sir/Madam,

                                  I shifted from Delhi to Indirapuram on 9th Oct,08. We got our gas connection transferred to M/s Yadu Gas Agency, D-33, Site-4,Shahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP.

                                  I am deeply disappointed to face the pathetic service by this agency. I have faced following major problems with the agency :
                                  1. The gas delivery is much delayed, in most of the cases its beyon 10-15 days of booking , and cylinder is received only after multiple frustrating calls to the agency. All the phone lines kept busy for number of hours. I do not understand why this delay happens most of the time.
                                  2. The cylinder we received initially for couple of months were under-weight by 3-5kgs. Since then we have kept a weighing machine and we regularly check the weight before accepting the cylinder. And becuase of this checking the delivery boys has been envious and do not provide supply on time.
                                  3. The most deadly thing is that the agency is filling gas in the EXPIRED CYLINDERS. It can be fatal as the cylinder iron has expired and may explode. At many times we have returned the cylinder because of this. In one odd event a cylinder which was 2yrs over its expiry date was being delivered.
                                  We have communicated this to the Manager of this agency on phone and then the cylinders were replaced but the same cylinders are being circulated.
                                  The Yadu Gas agency and Indian Oil will have to take the responsibility in case any undesired event happens.


                                  I hope Yadu agency improves it's service and quality of the gas cylinders.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    Kindly note that since few months every time when I booked the Gas, a person from Inden comes and asking me to pay Rs.40 as an inspection charges. Last time when I refused as the inspection was done only a couple of months back he told that your booking will not be accepted if you do not pay this charges.
                                    Now let me know the truth. Is it required to get my connection checked every time I book the new Gas bottle?

                                    I am a resident of Ahmedabad and My connection is with Santosh Gas Agency.

                                      Dear sir,

                                      I RAJKISHORE MAHATO having Indane connection no. 16690 (Scaned copy attached) at Dharchula in 2004 was working in NHPC then.Now I have left NHPC in 2008 and joined NTPC Ltd. in Joshimath, Uttranchal. I have approached to the Gas Agency at Dharchula for transfer of the said connection to Joshimath but the agency said that the connection is dead and it cannot be transfered till the connection get activated from Bareilly Regional office.They have said that the connection will be activated very soon consequent upon verification by the Regional Office ,Bareilly and the same will be process for transfer then.Till date the connection is not activated from Bareilly Regional office.
                                      Kindly guide me how i can get the Gas connection transferred from Dharchula to Joshimath.As I have shifted my Family at joshimath ,Iam facing severe problem.
                                      Kindly look into the matter,so that it can be solved.
